I wanted to throw a surprise party for my husband and reached out to several places in the area and Eavesdrop had the best deal by far! Renting their Tiki Garden was perfect for our gathering. During the planning phase, communication was quick and everything was straight forward. They even returned our security deposit within a day after the party which was really impressive! Eavesdrop is a large and in charge brewery shining as a beacon of hope outside the major DC metropolitan area. I love that you can hang out in the main building, on the roof deck, or outside. It is also VERY dog friendly with free dog treats offered! Our dog absolutely loved being involved in the experience and loved getting the feee treats! They have a ton of options to choose from. There's so many different beers and ciders on tap. They also offer some seasonal options and local options. These can rotate and change sporadically, so it's always a new experience. There are also wine options and amazing slushies to choose from. In addition to drinks, they have some food options to choose from. I enjoyed all the food I got and it was a so nice to get something to eat in that mix. They also have some fun events and music. Last time we got to play bingo and sip slushies! Awesome little tucked away brewery! As a review mentioned- I really was shocked at the size of the lot! Perfect low key spot to hang in Manassas, I get the feel of a lesser known/ less busy spot compared to more widely known breweries. This is a huge plus! I didn't think the location was prime however...in fact you truly wouldn't even know what to look for besides the large Eavesdrop sign! Parking is behind the building (building is shared with a church, hookah bar etc) they do have complementary valet parking though! I love the fall decor and care they put into creating a themed environment. Every inch of this spot is decorated for fall/Halloween! They have an actual indoor area with a few tables and area to order (they sell s'more kits and cigars) they have PLENTY of outdoor seating!! They even have a rooftop which I loved! They play fun music over the speakers and have hanging chairs!! I was So HAPPY with the plenty of brew options- and even more than one SOUR!! Menu items are hilarious I def ordered the WAP sour (wet a$$ pigeon)!! Makes for great insta material! They also have a cute picture taking backdrop- equipped with a straw pony!!! My Fiance and I wanted to take advantage of the nice weather so we headed to one of our go-to spots! Everytime I come here, it has been an excellent experience. They have plenty of parking and I even saw they offered valet parking. There is plenty of outdoor seating, with fire pits, and tents areas. There is also the tap room for indoor seating and even an upstairs patio area! They have a wide selection of delicious beers on draft, seltzers, frozen slushies. The service was 5 star. They will take the time to offer suggestions and you can sample the beers. Judging by the crowd there is something to do for everyone. There are board games, lawn games, even doggy treats. If you are hungry, there is food from Eugene's Sausages. I definitely recommend checking out this spot. It is a cute spot for a date or just to hang out! read more

Came here for a bachelorette party after having discovered it from a Yelp Elite Event earlier this year. My friend wanted a race at themed bachelorette so we went racing in Manassas and this was the perfect after party. I had originally paid to reserve a fire pit space but the weather had been raining on and off all day and I was concerned about being rained on so I called that day and they moved us to another space that had some covering that actually ended up being way cuter because there were swings and a table. They allowed us to bring in our own charcuterie boards. But the day that we were there, they had many vendors as well, including a boiled peanut stand, and a guy selling pickles. The beers are all great and I enjoyed the crushes that they offered as well. They also have a great mix of non-alcoholic beverages, and food on site. Evesdrop is a mid sized microbrewery located just off Highway 28 we happened to be here on their 4th anniversary and what a fun afternoon it was! The sitting area is geared towards the sort of crowd with lots of outdoor seating space. Picnic tables seat 6 comfortably. High top wine barrel tables interspersed and then there are longer tables for larger crowds. Family friendly and dogs as well. The food choices are an occasional truck and an adjacent hot dog place that has fantabulous loaded hot dogs. I have reviewed that separately since it's a different establishment but it's sorta integrated and shares the same physical space. The beers themselves, the selection is excellent. There is something for everyone. A lager, kolsch, few different IPAs and 4+ sours. I found most beers tended to be on the sweet side: even the sours didn't leave me as pucker faced. Well, this is one of my new favorite places, to the point I have visited a couple of times within a couple of weeks. It is a little oasis by a residential/industrial area. If you find parking, park but don't worry if you don't because there is valet. They serve beer and wine and you have access to food on-site. You would never guess this cute venue is located right off the main street behind an industrial building that has a beautiful mural on it! I was really excited to try this brewery! It's so cute and you can see the white lights from the main road. When you get there it's a cute little house design with some firepits all around and they have a BBQ place that is attached to another structure (strip mall). Once you park, you walk through, what reminds me of a playground - pebble field of gravel. They have terrace outdoor structures on two sides in the yard. They also had pumpkins that kids were kicking and cutting up with plastic knifes. There is only one bar for beer - so we went inside to place our orders. When I got there, I really had to tinkle so I used the girls bathrooms - which were disgusting. I thought about taking a photo - but there was period blood and used tampons floating in the only stall available. Inside they had live music. Let me explain - the little house can only hold like maybe 30 max? So why did they have 2 speakers cranked on high in a small space? Servers couldn't hear people ordering, and it was packed (as it was cold outside). We grabbed a 5 tasting flight. The flight itself was super sturdy and nice with wood base and cooper pipes lining the outside of it you could use as handles. We found a firepit and sat next to it. The bbq didn't have hours but when I went in it was empty with trash bags in middle of the floor. Luckily they did have a food truck! So we got fried rice and dumplings from the truck (Smart idea to have food trucks!). While eating we had kids playing tackle football spraying us with pebbles as they tackled right up to our table. No parents in site to be watching their kids. Others were crushing pumpkins that were decorations and carving them up into pieces with plastic knifes they had found. Super loud outside with high shrieks from the children. Overall the ambiance and the beer was a Meh experience. I think the concept is cute. I would recommend a updated requirement for all live performances not to have speakers for such a small space - makes no sense, post hours for the BBQ, add additional heat lamps (I think we saw two), and possibly inform guest to watch their kids (I know this one is hard). We may go back and see if things have updated when the weather is better. But since the inside is lacking in space, I think we will hold off for the winter. read more

Love this brewery. First visited this place few years ago but they've come a long way. Now they have a beautiful spacious outdoor area & decently sized indoor space. They allow dogs in outdoor area, so you can have your furry friend with you when you want to enjoy a beer or two. They have free dog treats there. They have good selection of beers & seem to rotate and get different beers. They have an awesome selection of IPAs. If you are an IPA fan, it is a must visit place. Eavesdrop is another recent discovery and I've already been their twice... not so much to drink constantly but because of the congenial atmosphere that is friendly to families, friends and even dogs. They feature live music. You can eat outside. They schedule themed events. The beer they make at Eavesdrop is very good, but even above and beyond that is the promotion of OTHER beers from microbreweries that participate in the Untapped network, which allows not only the local beer but also beers from other microbreweries in the network. The kitchen is amazing. Maybe it's my love of odd overstuffed french fries talking here but they make an amazing range of comfort food. I can't recommend Eavesdrop more highly. read more

A diamond in the rough. Eavesdrop Brewing is a quaint little brewery tucked away just off centreville rd with a fantastic vibe going for it. Found this place through a google search of local breweries with a desire to enjoy a nice afternoon of the weather and a few drinks and was not disappointed. Brewery has indoor and outdoor seating with the outside space being the bigger of the two spaces and by about double the size. I did note that only about 25% of the outside seating had any sort of sun protection/cover so arrive early on busier days for better outside seating. Drinks were fantastic. The girlfriend quickly worked her way through the selection of slushy style cocktails with glee (make sure to try the Guava slushy) and as a true Sour beer lover myself the 4 options they had on tap had me delighted but they boast a impressive tap list (Orange Creamsicle and the Smoothie Sour were top tier!) Bar tender was quick and efficient as well with minimal time spent waiting at the bar. The brewery does not have food menu past a few snacks like popcorn buckets but fret not as Moby Dicks kabobs and Eugene's Sausages are in the building sharing the outside seating area and more than happy to accommodate your desires from munchies to dinner plates. In summary Eavesdrop Brewery was a nice suprise and provided a wonderful experience that both me and my partner look forward to enjoying again sooner rather than later. Next time I'll be sure to check out the To-Go Fridge for some offerings to take home as well! read more

Both staff and fellow patrons were amazing friendly, lots of space for kids to run around, can easily accommodate large groups, games, dog treats, and frequent live music. Great mix of solid brews, speaking both my sour/seltzer liking self and my IPA loving spouse (though he, a bit of a beer snob, wasn't necessarily blow away by any of the beers). Eavesdrop has been on my list to go to for ages, since it is my friend's absolute favorite brewery! I finally was able to come by a couple of weeks ago for one of their Thursday Bingo Nights. I ordered a flight of the peach tea cider (I forgot the name), There Goes Nana sour, Island Music sour, Minkey Boodle sour. The Island Music was my favorite, but they were all very good! They have a wide variety of different kinds of beers so there's a lot to choose from. The space itself is huge and so gorgeous! Absolutely perfect for a summer evening. I love how they have a beer store where you can pick up cans/growlers and a Eugene's Sausage & Fries at the venue. All of the service I received here was great and bingo (which is free!) was super fun! I would add that parking at this location was a bit challenging on a Thursday evening and I had to park across the street. Can't wait to come back. read more

I always thought that this place was inside a small warehouse type brewery based on where the sign was placed but I was super wrong. They occupy a pretty decently sized outdoor space and a small hut where you order with a little seating as well. Decor is beach-y and kinda takes you to a different place. Parking was pretty scarce but luckily they have complimentary valet parking (on weekends I think). If you tip them, make sure you bring cash because there was no ATM around. Luckily, we had no issues finding a table even with it being a busy Saturday afternoon. They have a bunch of signs that help point you in the right direction and even signs with QR codes for the menus. We tried the Island Music and the Boyz N The Yard beers. The Island Music was one of the best tropical sours I've ever had. The Boyz N The Yard was also great, very juicy and fruity, not so bitter. We also tried the mango and raspberry (possibly different berry) coconut slushes and they were perfect for a 90+ degree day outside. One of the coolest breweries in the area, one of the best food options in Eugene's, staff is pretty friendly, and the vibe/decor is hard to match. read more

Went on a cold Monday, It was President's Day and my husband and I were on a day date. I was looking for a place to drink a beer and eat some good food. Unfortunately the Eugene's sausage and fries was closed. That was a big bummer because the only food they offer on premise is popcorn and maybe chips. At least they allowed us to bring outside food in, so we did a DoorDash order for some pub food. The location is hard to find, the DoorDash deliverer couldn't find us either. It's a very unsuspecting brewery, look behind the business buildings. We sat inside, it was cold and there was maybe one sad little heater running. I love that they provide the IBU, bitterness units, for each beer, I really don't like bitter beer and enjoyed the sour beer a lot. By the afternoon all the open tables were full, they were spaced out. If you sit outside you can get a fire going. Definitely want to go back when it's warmer, and when Eugene's is open. read more

Eavesdrop Brewery is awesome. They hosted a Northern Virginia Yelp Elite night last week, which is why I happened upon this gem. The setup is really nice and spacious with the cute igloos and fire pits outside as well as the beer hall inside. The live music was also great. The bartenders were friendly and helpful...Derrick is hilarious. The beer is really good and they have a wide variety of options between beer they brew on site and local partners they showcase. I like dark beer and the imperial porter along with ginger stout are delicious. I also tried the Quadrupel, which is a very potent brew and smooth, so be careful. The sour was juicy and just the right amount of tartness too. I am not an IPA fan; so I cannot comment on those aside from to say they have quite a few to try, if that is your thing. Our party was fed by two companies that focus in charcuterie boards and dips, but I also think you can normally get food at the brewery. I had a great time and made a few new friends. I'm from out of town surprising my father with a visit, we decided to do lunch and I needed a location that was dog friendly, mind you this was a 18 hour drive so we were dog tired as well. Eavesdrop wasn't open but the patio area was so we were able to relax in the shade and enjoy the peace. I appreciated the design of the patio and it's welcoming to come across good people who are relaxing as well. I feel like I'm in the 1960's when I say this was a comfortable diverse area to enjoy and release the tensions. On top of that once Eavesdrop opened we placed our order, the cashier was patient and kind through our decisions, the food came out amazing , top quality, and filled us past our limits lol there was a craft bar there as well, we had a beer called sunbreak or sunrise but it was sooo good, and vibrant, and fresh tasting. My FATHER was blown away!! He is the type of guy who only goes to the same restaurants. There's a big courtyard with the brewery, Eugene's sausage and fries, and another shop that I did not get to check out. Free valet parking came in handy since there was no parking in the lot. The selection of drinks was large and there was something for everyone! Seltzer's, ales, Sours, and my favorite, the blackberry limeade frozen rose. all the drinks we ordered were really good! This is a beautiful brewery with a large beer menu. When you first drive into the parking lot, all you see is an entrance for the brewery. It's when you walk in that you'll be surprised to see how big the outdoor sitting area is. The beers were really good and I have yet to try all the other ones. They sell a box with some charcuterie meats and cheeses. There's also another building within the brewery that sells food and other canned beers for purchase (not for consuming within the brewery).
