Ample parking and a good location. I just realized I started a review of a brewery by talking about parking and not the beer. I'm ipa forward. The picture of the flight of their ipa's could differentiate the beers by looks. I got to say underwhelming beer. Good space. Nice seating. Do you go for beer?

This is a great brewery with a very chill vibe. Pretty quiet on a weeknight and had some games we were able to play. Amazing local spot. It would be cool if they had food but that's no biggie. Would recommend if you're in the Haymarket/Gainesville Area.

I'm not sure why this place gets 5 stars. My husband's wit beer was rather bland and unremarkable. My dark lager was fine (tasted more like a stout) but nothing exciting. Beers were overpriced at $8 for a pint in an industrial parking lot in the exurbs. Service was friendly and they were dog friendly (dogs allowed inside!) which we always like. No food available at the brewery but you can bring in outside food.

We love the beer at Great Mane. It's pet friendly so we bring our dog frequently. Service is fantastic and you will often see the owners there pouring beer.

Matt and company are a great group of people offering solid brews. Next time I'm in Haymarket I'll definitely stop by!

Beer

New brewery that sits in the industrial park behind Sheetz and aldie, only reachable from Route 15. Today they have 7 beers available and two hard kombochas. Large space, lots of tables of tables. The only food is bar snacks. Still getting their feel for the new equipment. Come check them out before they blow up.

Breweries are for cats too.

The beer was good though there were no food options other than a charcuterie board so we had to DoorDash everything.

There was a huge outdoor space for kids and families complete with some games and picnic tables. We sat in the closed-in porch area and were treated to some live music on a Saturday. The beer was solid - hubby. and I split a flight and enjoyed the marionberry wheat and Sweet Nala stout. We liked their logo "Soil to Suds" and bought a few shirts - they even had a bunch of shirts on sale for $5! Great place for family time at a brewery.

There is seating both inside and outside. The inside is a bit stark on the inside with drywall on the walls and ceiling. I woulds have loved if they had lined the walls and ceiling with something like pine. I've sampled a number of their brews. My fave brews thus far are two ales: - Snafu (Strong Ale) - The Donkey Calleth (Imperial IPA) They have a small popcorn machine for snacks (which is free) - but other than that, as far as I can tell - there are no other food options. The folks who run the place are super nice. There is no WiFi network and they currently do not accept Apple Pay. #FourJsFarmAndBrewery

From the wood-themed interior and central fireplace to the large outdoor lawn, patio seating, and family-friendly features, the brewery creates a comfortable atmosphere that works well for a wide range of visitors. What stands out most is how much variety the space offers. Inside, there are plenty of seating options, televisions for sports, a small gift shop, and a cozy atmosphere despite the brewery's large size. Outside, guests can enjoy an expansive lawn area, additional seating, rentable cabanas, an outdoor bar, a food truck, and activities for children. Combined with a beverage menu that includes beer, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic options, Lark Brewing feels like a destination built for groups, families, and anyone looking to settle in for a longer visit.

Even though it rained towards the end of our stay, the indoor section and covered patio area is very nice! It was packed with families, people with dogs etc. There was also live music until 4 PM on Sunday. The live music was inside but it was great song selections and it wasn't too loud. And there were big screen TVs everywhere for watching all of the games! Perfect spot to hang out with family and friends drinking great beer and munching on comfort food!

It felt like my local brew master must have called ahead and told them to take care of me. But no. That's just how the treat everyone. The most impressive part is the variety - keeping up to 15 taps of of their own brews with a tiny production facility. They must be working HARD. Following the review history it's clear that they constantly pump out new small batches to keep things interesting. I had a stellar bourbon porter, a thin but delicious dunkel, a killer black ipa on par with the likes of 21st amendment, a toned down ode to the arrogant bastard, and pretty unique red ipa. 7 bucks for a flight of 4 is fair and I LOVE the half pints - sure you gotta buy more glasses but I will never understand why more micro brews don't offer half pints. Pizza place a block a way smelled/looked solid - in summary there is no reason you should ever go to that BJ's brew pub around the corner. Even if you like their burgers just get it to go and then drink at Tin Cannon. Note: the hours seem to be flexible depending on the crowd and mood....we we're shy about running in close to closing but clearly it was not an issue.

This is a beach theme bar, with a ton of things going on. They had vendors, and one was selling Venus fly traps of all things. There's plenty of beer to be consumed. They have a nice taproom with seating, and plenty of seats and tables out on the "beach." This is a great place for a young adult date, not to mention a family spot. Dogs are welcome, and I saw a decent amount of kids running around. They didn't broadcast live sports during my visit. I did see people eating, but couldn't really tell where the food was coming from. I didn't want to venture around because I don't see well, and the grounds are composed of pea rocks. I did see rooftop seating, but I'm not sure what's up there. This place is next to a Sheetz gas station, and if worse comes to worse, you can literally walk there and buy food and no one would know your'e gone because it's so close. The parking here is bad. Real bad. There is an adjacent small strip small with parking, and a catering hall with a huge parking lot. I opted for the catering hall, but walking to this venue was tricky, because there isn't a sidewalk. This place has casual charm. I observed a small family playing Uno at their table, and their activity summed up what this place is about. A family friendly safe place to relax.

The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the other guests (mostly regulars) made for great company! Powers only serves beer, but they do have a food truck rotation that comes through, so make sure to check their website before visiting to find out what's being served that day. The beer selection is decent and has something for everyone's taste. There is plenty of indoor seating and just as much outdoor seating, so you won't have to worry about standing up the whole time even when it's busy. Outside they have a Corn Hole setup and they also had a soccer ball you could kick around if you wanted to. To add to the outdoor ambiance, there was also a chicken coop that you could walk up to and look at. Also, if you're around during the evening, they might get the bonfires going! One of favorite parts about our visit was being able to enjoy my porter outside by the bonfire. All-in-all, it was a pleasant surprise and definitely worth a visit if you're ever out in Midland, VA or just won't to do something outside the city if you're in the DMV area.
