Lower the pricing... Have someone come out and replace your (old ) cable boxes and remotes with updated (most recent) equipment. When there is a price increase STOP saying it's because of the taxes and fees that your business is being charged. That might be true for 1 increase a year but it's not true for the other 2 'increases I've received this year. Also customers that cancel their service should NOT have to return "your" equipment...a technician was sent to deliver and set up.., send one back to disconnect and pickup! I as a customer had to swap out a cable box (due to issues with it) had to miss part of a workday because you're store locations are not open when I go to work nor when I get off of work!! Customers paying these current and future high prices should not have to return or pickup/swap out any equipment... it is very inconvenient for customers !! read more

Eatel recently purchased RTC in our river parishes community months ago. I guess I'm used to the excellent service by RTC and am biased to this new company. Whenever I had issues, RTC would troubleshoot from their end amd the issue would be resolved. Not with this company. They send someone out to your home for everything. Recently my security system gives a weird error message that doesn't go away. Reached out to eatel whom dispatched an employee. He called me and was actually the initial installer with RTC, glad to see they hired him on. He told me I would need to sign a 3 year contract. I think not‼ I will be speaking with a manager today and if I need to sign a contract, I will proceed with cancelling my Eatel services. read more

It am has been 42 days since Hurricane Ida hit. Eatel work trucks are nowhere to be found. We still do not have telephones or internet. When we call Eatel, they either cannot or WILL NOT even give us an estimated time that our services will be repaired. Seems like the CEO needs to be FIRED. Someone in the company should have assessed the situation, and MADE A PLAN TO GET SERVICES UP. If they had a fricken plan - seems like they would tell us the plan or estimated date that service will return. EATEL is a monopoly in Lafourche Parish .... Someone needs to knock them off their horse ! MANAGEMENT AT EATEL SHOULD BE MAKING TACOS AT TACO BELL. They have NO IDEA how to do the job they are getting paid to do. read more

Best internet/cable provider you could ever ask for (and I've tried several after living in multiple locations). I almost never had any issues but the one time i did, they came out to fix it the very same day. The tech was very friendly and even greeted my dog. They're constantly updating to the newest, best technology. Eatel is the only fiber Network in my area and I could not be more pleased with them. Especially because when you call with an inquiry or issue, you speak to an actual helpful person - not a recording. I couldn't ask for anything better. read more

I signed up the week after the flood. I have had nothing but trouble since. It took a couple of months to bury the cable and remove the temp. That was only after several calls. Now the last two weeks I lose signal all the time. When I call they tell me to unplug and plug it back in. That works for a hour or so and bam no signal again. I will give them one more week and then i will give someone else a try. I thought I would help a local co. But if this is the service I get I will go else were Follow up. I have had excellent service from Eatel. Signed up 18 months ago. Installation service technician was very nice, helpful and punctual. When our fiber had been cut by a vehicle accident, Eatel helped us troubleshoot quickly and sent a repair technician within a day. They were also very helpful answering questions about setting up my home wi-fi. (I used their recommended equipment, and the set-up went smoothly.) What stands out most is their customer service attitude. They have always been friendly, helpful, and - what I appreciate most - respectful. read more

I have had a very good experience with Eatel. The staff in the office were very professional and friendly. We had to wait a few days to have everything hooked up but you have that with any vendor (I've had service with AT&T, Cox, and Direct TV). The service techs were neatly dressed, professional and knowledgeable. I've called the customer service line once and the tech was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable not to mention I could understand the conversation .I have not experienced any issues with service or connectivity. Local cable, internet, phone provider which means you pick up the phone and call, you are talking to someone that is not across the country or in another country and can truly assist you with your issues. I find that they are reasonably priced compared to their competitors as well. When I've had an issue, it is usually handled promptly and satisfactory. They have upgraded infrastructure over the years and I find their service to be now faster and more reliable with less down time and problems. The only thing I wish they would work on is the cable box packages as they seem to be outdated compared to others such as TiVo. If that happens, I'd certainly give them 5 stars. read more

Not happy at all with this service. They boast about their fiber optic system. Come to find out, it's not available in my complex. The system that is available is so out of date and antiquated, I haven't seen technology like this for about 8 years. Time Warner had this same crap back in 2008. The worst part is, they have my complex signed to a contract that only allows their crappy service. For the kind of money I pay every month, I would expect something much better than the crap I have. They need to get their shit together and start updating this antique equipment with equipment that is more up to date, not 6-8 years old. Very disappointed, hopefully this contract is up soon at my complex, so then AT&T or Cox can come in here and bring some up to date technology with them. read more

Never even got my internet installed. Waited a week for scheduled appointment, had to make arrangements to have someone there for me, tech shows up 5 hours early and calls me. I tell them I'm out of town and someone would be there at original time. He said they might have to reschedule then. Never received another call. I call 2 days later to see what's going on and told I would have to wait until the end of the week again. So that makes two weeks wait time. They blamed due to weather, even though I was told if I could not make the first date work, it would be another week. I called to let them know I would be using cox instead so I could get my install done sooner and the lady told me "hope everything works out for you" and then she hung up. read more
