The AT&T internet Cable Bury services is horrible. There equipment dripped oil on my new driveway and the equipment tore up my new sod by gouging out ad rutting the lawn. This all occurred on May 22. I have mad numerous calls to AT&T Customer Service, have outstanding ticket. AT&T can't even get the bury cable company to return calls or emails to them. Risk Management does not return calls and there are no upline supervisors to speak to. What a joke. read more

Att has the worst internet it is constantly going out I have had the tower replaced 2x. My wife works from home and has to use her phone hotspot to accomplish work sometimes. I always turn my wifi off in my house on the phone cause it is faster with my cell signal straight bullshit. Apparently after talking to Att I was told that our internet is shared amongst people in my grid and when mmm people are using it at the same time the signal will weaken... that sound like a sad explanation of service.... I will never get att internet again for home service read more

I need to get in contact with someone other than customer support which has been useless. I have been dealing with this since I switched over to you about 9 months ago. When the tech came to hook us up initially he said the box we are supposed to be hooked up to didn't work so he hooked us up to a house behind us which is fenced off. The guys who came to bury the wires said the box we were supposed to be hooked up to works and I was told they got me taken care of and hooked to the proper box. A few weeks ago my internet went out. Tech came to fix it but said I was still hooked up wrong box in the yard behind my house and that line in their yard was never buried. It's just laying on top of the ground. Brand new owners moved in with dogs who chewed the wire. Tech fixed it and this past weekend dogs chewed it again and no internet. The latest tech got in touch with engineers who don't seem to want to deal with it. New tech came out today and was totally confused with all the wires in yard leading to different boxes and left. The techs are great but each one that comes doesn't know what to do and arrives with no history about this ordeal. And without engineering stepping up to change the box numbers it seems they are helpless to do anything at all. Wires are still all over my yard and across my driveway. This is unacceptable and hazardous to us and the people in the home behind us. Your engineering department is obviously not wanting to deal with this because we are just one customer. We are thinking about legal action at this point if this isn't resolved ASAP. I'm just fed up. read more

ATT - U-Verse phone in-customer service is atrocious. DO NOT subscribe to U-Verse. Their CHAT is simply automated and has no real support value. You cannot make service tech appointments from their Mobile APP, which is also below sub-par. The local techs, when they do come out, are helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Telephone service goes outside of USA people are programmed and not helpful they say can't connect to service in USA. Go find help they are terrible read more

For the second night in a row, Internet and Uverse have frozen... so disrupts all recording going on. And if I'm not home, my husband can't reboot on his own so is stuck missing "the game". Can't believe how many times I have to move furniture to reboot my boxes... and don't even try to watch a basketball game... with all the freezes and skips, you miss the scoring!!! AND IF YOU ARE OUT OF a TOWN AND THE POWER GOES OUT, THE DVR DOESNT RESTART SO SCHEDULED RECORDING HAPPENS UNTIL YOU COME HOME AND REBOOT!!!! BOOOOOOO ATT, very dissatisfied customer. Cox wasn't great, but it didn't require all this hands on maintenance by me!!!! read more

Recently moved into an apartment complex with shared Internet. Ultimately, due to issues with infrastructure and Internet speed, had to opt out and purchase own internet provider. AT&T UVerse was the package we selected based on availability and service records. We had some issues with our installation based on the set up of the apartment, but AT&T sent out a technician on a Sunday morning in the pouring rain to help us out. Not only was he informative and courteous, but he went above and beyond his duty in trying all methods and ways he possibly could've fixed our situation. He provided us with his own information upon leaving should we have any hiccups with future service. In the recently destructive PR issues with companies like Cox and Comcast, AT&T has gone out of their way for me and my neighbors recently. I really think quality customer service needs to be recognized, and I'm so happy that we selected AT&T as a provider! read more

This service has not been great. I have wireless receivers and they freeze all of the time. The installer cut a power wire in the attic. AT&T does not do repairs or call anyone to do them. It took effect 4 days to repair. Electricians couldn't find cut wire in all of the blown in insulation. read more

Called in to get information on when my internet would be installed. This is after waiting several hours after my time slot has passed. Listen to a rep ramble on with useless information, attempt to transfer me to another where the call is dropped and I'm stuck going through the process again. Colossal waste of time and still waiting for the internet guy to come. read more

Not impressed. Not customer focused. My bill continues to go up and I don't know why. There is Direct TV and also Direct TV Now which are both under ATT. I think ATT gave my banking info to Direct TV Now and they were drafting from my checking for almost a year until I stopped it. read more

I signed up for AT&T Internet and Uverse cable services against my better judgment. There were 2 reps walking my neighborhood back in June offering new services at a significantly lower rate than my Cox provider. I was told that my street had just installed new underground lines for internet which would be faster than normal AT&T internet. I explained my hesitations due to having inadequate Direct TV cable services through in the past. I was given this sales pitch on how since the big merger with AT&T a lot of their equipment had been updated to correct outages previously reported. Let me just say I should have taken the 8 hours installation time as a bad sign!! The poor service tech was at my home from around 3pm to almost MIDNIGHT!!! He couldn't get the internet to connect!! Once he did, the internet was slow, not working, or just spotty connections. I work from home so it is very important that my internet works. Next, the tv services were horrible. I experienced more outages and picture freezing with U Verse than with Direct TV. I had this service for about 3 weeks before having to swallow my pride and head back to Cox. The final straw with the services was the internet and tv customer service. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!! Even several of the technicians that had to come out to my home in the three week period agreed. They were rude, barely able to communicate, and just down right horrible! AT&T should be ashamed for providing such poor customer services on the Internet and TV side. I will NEVER sign up for these type of services again. read more

U verse reps can't tell us anything about resumption of services. I partially depend on Internet for my job. It's been out 8 days along with tv. If you have unlimited data you can't do the hotspot to use your tablet. Cost has gone up to an astronomical fee. Give us some information u verse! read more

If I can just help one person with this review, it's worth it! The only positive is U-verse provides more HD channels at a lower rate than Cox. IN THIS CASE, the Pharisees you get what you pay for is very accurate! We NEVER had signal loss or interruption with Cox. With U-verse, if it's not the tv, it's the phone; if it's not the phone, it's the internet; if it's not the internet, it's all three! I'm not exaggerating, but at least two to three times a week this issue happens in addition to the audio or picture not coming through. This is terrible! They have had to come to the house three times since installing! The first time, the guy said the installers did a "rigged job." The second time, the guy said they didn't completely disconnect from Cox lines, and that was causing the issue. The third time, the guy said the last guy didn't properly run the lines. AT&T U-verse is worse than any satellite provider. Cox wasn't the best, but after having U-verse, I can guarantee you we miss it and cannot wait until this contract is over because it will not be renewed! read more

We had At&T U-verse for two years. Started out at 99$ a month for phone, internet, and excellent tv. Over time, we experience a couple of dollar increase every month. 23 months later we are at 200$ a month. At the end of 24 month promotional period we are at 300$ per month with essentially no change in service. Called customer service and they wanted to sell me more! They would not budge and told me to use their web site to change service. We were happy with the service, but the price continued to increase to the point of ridiculous. We will change to Cox and get the same service for 135$ a month for a year and increase to 155 for the second year. The technicians installing were excellent, yet their customer service from someone overseas is unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, in baton rouge, you only have two choices, At&t or Cox. We give good review for the internet/tv/phone service but hammer them on their customer service. Thus the two star rating. We will cancel this week. Will let you know how this goes... read more
