From the very beginning, they were straightforward about pricing, the installation process, the timeline, and exactly how my new alarm and monitoring system would work. There were no surprises, just honest communication and exceptional customer service. I was in the market for a new alarm and monitoring system, and they made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Their knowledge, patience, and commitment to ensuring I had the right system for my home exceeded my expectations. A special shout-out to Ms. Janet, who is the closer! Once I decided to move forward, she contacted me and had everything set up in less than 10 minutes. She was professional, efficient, personable, and made the process incredibly easy. She is not only friendly, but she also provides outstanding customer service. What impressed me even more was the follow-up after the installation. I received calls to ensure my alarm system was working properly and to make sure I was completely satisfied. That level of follow-up demonstrated that they genuinely value their customers long after the sale is complete. I truly felt like my business mattered to the company. I've already shared my experience with family and friends because great service deserves to be recognized. James and Tony didn't just gain a customer, they gained an advocate. At this point, they're family. If you're in the market for a new alarm and monitoring system, I highly encourage you to give Tony and James the opportunity to earn your business. Their professionalism, honesty, and commitment to customer satisfaction are second to none. They will not disappoint.

My experience with Toca Alarm has been sheer misery. I paid approximately $40,000 to have a…read moresecurity system installed at my horse rescue sanctuary in Folsom. Jimmy the salesperson promised fully reliable, hassle-free security service on my property in order to keep me and my vulnerable rescue horses safe; there had been dangerous trespassing in my pastures. I specifically mentioned I wanted access to playback from certain cameras and a personal alert button for my safety. Jimmy assured me this would be no problem. Toca insisted I use one cell provider; I had grave concerns bc it is known to provide weak signals out here. The reality after my huge check had been cashed: the cameras did not function consistently bc of weak signal, as feared. One of the $4000 cameras had to be replaced entirely. I had to try two other service providers to get them to work. Yes, that is three in total. I've been charged nearly $500 by the first cell provider months after the contract terminated. I cannot receive playback of my cameras without a DVR but the system does not interface with Starlink so I needed to get a new modem. The DVR playback of these outdoor cameras still has not been set up. It took ages to finally receive my personal alert button. Bc of an error when Toca staff was testing the button, the Fire Department with EMT was dispatched to my property! Toca disclaims responsibility for so many of these problems, insisting they are out of its control. When I was signing the $40,000 contract with Jimmy, he assured me I would be fully taken care of by Toca. He did not say: oh, you will be on your own when dealing with problems created by these third parties who control much of the service related to your security and surveillance system. Toca won't be responsible. I have enormous responsibilities caring for 65 rescue horses and donkeys at my sanctuary: I told Jimmy I had to have a seamless, comprehensive and reliable security system bc I don't have the time to deal with constant malfunctions. He promised me that this was what I was getting with Toca. I cannot stress enough how much I regret ever having called Toca Alarm Company.

If you're looking for a system that will work for a bit, if you don't mind paying for things you…read moredon't receive, if you're extremely tech savvy and can figure out everything on your own and/or if you have the time to wait around for no one to show up, Craig (CEO and owner of Tec Lynx) is your guy. _________________________ Two years ago, Craig installed a $2k security system for me that included 3 cameras and 1TB hard drive. Since he installed it, I've had some issues and have called him to come fix it. In my experience, scheduling with him has always been difficult. Like most service repairs, I'm completely ok with a 2-4 hour time frame. BUT when you say you're coming at 2:30 and you don't show up at 2:30 or 3 or 4 or even 6 and you don't call or text... and I have to text you the next day to ask what happened and reschedule, it's kind of frustrating. I thought it was me. Maybe I did something to offend him? I mean, I pay him on the spot and I really don't say much when he comes to fix it... everything is inside, so it's not like I'm asking him to work in the heat or anything. Could it be me? Surely this isn't how he treats all his customers? I reached out to the woman who referred him to me and she said he was the same with her so she found someone else. I reached out to another friend who I knew used him as well, she said the same thing. Problem is, when they got their new security system person, they had to get a whole new system. I don't want to spend another $2k! So I kept trying to be patient and rescheduling with Craig. Now I'm at the point where the system will not record anything or show the live stream and it's constantly beeping. I called and asked Craig to take a look. That was 3 months ago... still haven't gotten him to the house. I've unplugged it because the beeping every 5 seconds was super annoying. Google told me it was probably my hard drive... I'm pretty tech savvy, so I opened up the DVR to replace the hard drive. Much to my surprise, there was a 80 GB hard drive in there with a 2009 manufacturing date... and yet I paid for a 1 TB in 2017 (which was a line item on my receipt and separate from the DVR)   I let that go because, whatever, just a few less GBs than what I paid for (920 GB less to be exact)... not even worth bringing it up 2 years later. While I had the DVR apart, I also noticed the manufacturing date of the DVR was 2015. When I had the system installed in 2017, I thought I was getting a brand NEW system (and not one that already had 2 years in it). Again, let that go because this is 2 years later. But it sure was shady to have me pay for something that wasn't provided. Keep in mind, the only reason I know ANY of this was because I had to take it apart and try to fix it myself. I wouldn't have had a clue if he would have shown up like he said he would. After ordering a new hard drive and installing it myself, the DVR is still beeping! I called Craig AGAIN and basically begged for him to stop by and fix it. He gave me a time and date... wouldn't you know, he stood me up AGAIN. No call. No text. No apology. No attempt to reschedule. Nothing. Not a peep! I'm done. D.O.N.E. I have a new security guy and a new ($2k) system. Why a whole new system? Well, because a 2015 system is considered "antiquated" in the technology industry and finding someone local to fix such a system was impossible. Images of manufacturing dates and what I paid for versus what I got.
