We found Hitech and they have been nothing but friendly, honest, and just easy to work with. We got a quote before initially even getting any work done. There was NO sales pressure to make a decision that day or any ridiculous upselling. We got our quote, they left, and we thought on it before calling them back. They literally gave us our available options and we went from there. The equipment works well, no issues. Highly recommend these guys!

    If you're looking for a system that will work for a bit, if you don't mind paying for things you…read moredon't receive, if you're extremely tech savvy and can figure out everything on your own and/or if you have the time to wait around for no one to show up, Craig (CEO and owner of Tec Lynx) is your guy. _________________________ Two years ago, Craig installed a $2k security system for me that included 3 cameras and 1TB hard drive. Since he installed it, I've had some issues and have called him to come fix it. In my experience, scheduling with him has always been difficult. Like most service repairs, I'm completely ok with a 2-4 hour time frame. BUT when you say you're coming at 2:30 and you don't show up at 2:30 or 3 or 4 or even 6 and you don't call or text... and I have to text you the next day to ask what happened and reschedule, it's kind of frustrating. I thought it was me. Maybe I did something to offend him? I mean, I pay him on the spot and I really don't say much when he comes to fix it... everything is inside, so it's not like I'm asking him to work in the heat or anything. Could it be me? Surely this isn't how he treats all his customers? I reached out to the woman who referred him to me and she said he was the same with her so she found someone else. I reached out to another friend who I knew used him as well, she said the same thing. Problem is, when they got their new security system person, they had to get a whole new system. I don't want to spend another $2k! So I kept trying to be patient and rescheduling with Craig. Now I'm at the point where the system will not record anything or show the live stream and it's constantly beeping. I called and asked Craig to take a look. That was 3 months ago... still haven't gotten him to the house. I've unplugged it because the beeping every 5 seconds was super annoying. Google told me it was probably my hard drive... I'm pretty tech savvy, so I opened up the DVR to replace the hard drive. Much to my surprise, there was a 80 GB hard drive in there with a 2009 manufacturing date... and yet I paid for a 1 TB in 2017 (which was a line item on my receipt and separate from the DVR)   I let that go because, whatever, just a few less GBs than what I paid for (920 GB less to be exact)... not even worth bringing it up 2 years later. While I had the DVR apart, I also noticed the manufacturing date of the DVR was 2015. When I had the system installed in 2017, I thought I was getting a brand NEW system (and not one that already had 2 years in it). Again, let that go because this is 2 years later. But it sure was shady to have me pay for something that wasn't provided. Keep in mind, the only reason I know ANY of this was because I had to take it apart and try to fix it myself. I wouldn't have had a clue if he would have shown up like he said he would. After ordering a new hard drive and installing it myself, the DVR is still beeping! I called Craig AGAIN and basically begged for him to stop by and fix it. He gave me a time and date... wouldn't you know, he stood me up AGAIN. No call. No text. No apology. No attempt to reschedule. Nothing. Not a peep! I'm done. D.O.N.E. I have a new security guy and a new ($2k) system. Why a whole new system? Well, because a 2015 system is considered "antiquated" in the technology industry and finding someone local to fix such a system was impossible.
