Tom did an excellent job of explaining the system to me over the phone. I only wish he had showed up in person and brought all of his expertise with him in order to see what I really needed from the start. 3 sales people from other firms completely missed that my existing out of date system was not hardwired and quoted me bad numbers. Only one figured it out. Had his system been what I was looking for, I probably would have gone with them as they were also locally owned and monitored. As to the technician, Richard, whoever hired him should get a raise. I'm sure that I am just old fashioned but I really appreciate a technician showing up on time, ready to work hard, and ready to meet my expectations of a quality job. The technician that showed up at my place actually exceeded my expectations. He showed up 5 minutes early, was polite, well mannered, went right to work, worked hard and very efficiently, did the job right, cleaned up the slight mess, and explained everything in detail before he left. Unskilled, untrained, unqualified technicians. Even "management" is unknowledgeable about older and newer systems. RACIST owner & staff. Staff talks horrible about loyal customers. High staff turn over rate. Unknowledgeable admin to where you either have to wait on hold for long periods of time or someone has to call you back with a half correct answer. EXTREMELY RUDE. Had a BRAND NEW IQ2 system that they installed in my home and it didn't work half of the time and they wanted to charge me to have a technician come out to repair. These people are in "life safety" but I would not put my life into their systems. Other qualified companies to choose from: custom security, certified alarm systems, or la alarms. I would take your business else where before getting into a contract with this company. read more

Yes, I am a fan! Did not know what security system company I wanted to use. So I listed some pertinent questions and called around. I was greeted professionally and had all my questions answered in terms that I could understand by Alarm Center. I called twice, and spoke with two different ladies that made me very comfortable with choosing this company. And as good as the initial service was, the on-site technician was even better. Joey was professionally dressed, arrived in a company van and was very polite. He explained the installation to me and was even willing to put up with my cat who followed him around the house. I later discovered ATT installed a system which disabled my two SMOKE DECTORS and was not even told‼I immediately called the ALARM CENTER, who verified this. We've used Alarm Center for our home security since we bought our first home in 2000. Recently we had several windows replaced so we had them out to reconnect wires and magnets. They were very flexible with my appointment time with a two hour window. The technicians arrived on time and were courteous and knowledgable. The window installers "pinched" one wire which required a little carpentry work to free but I was pleased they could fix the problem and repaired the area aesthetically. read more
