Both food and service were great. We sat on the patio with our small dog. The menu had something for all diets and preferences. We had burgers - I had the Burger Dip my husband had the Green chile burger. Both excellent.
Came into Eat Crow for a family get together on Friday for dinner. Apps Ordered: - Cheese Curds - Poutine - Chili Cheese Fries Dinners: - Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was ordered by 3 of us - all reported they were delighted They were playing 80s music and Labryinth was on the screen. We'll be back.
Loved our meal here! The service was great and easygoing. It's a bar atmosphere, with lots of drink choices. Can't go wrong with ANY food. It's hot and seasoned up perfect. Plus the vibe is so great with the old records being menus and the big screen playing movies. Can't recommend enough!
Came back again since Halloween, the service was much more prompt, the burger was delicious again and the ambiance is very divey.
We stopped by here for a Halloween pop-up, which seem to be fewer and further between this year. This is a very cool spot with an even better patio! If it hadn't been so cold out, we would have sat out there. It was decorated really well for Halloween. It was crowded and we had a wait the night before Halloween, so we sat at the bar for a while. One bartender was amazing and the other was kind of crabby, but it was fine over all. The food was good as well. I had the pretzel sticks, my fiance had the Philly Mac, and my parents shared the Albuquerque Turkey sandwich. It was all very good! The cocktails were cute, but nothing special. I would come back again even when it wasn't Halloween.
I've been here twice-- once casually and the other to see the Nightmare on Elm Street popup bar! My first time coming, I came here simply to eat and it was splendid. The food is hot, fresh, and full of flavor. During the pop-up event, the staff was so lovely and helpful for any menu questions. Food and drinks came out fairly quickly. Drinks are strong, you get what you pay for! It was quite busy when I went during the popup bar, but my first time coming was during a weeknight and it was mostly empty. I would definitely come here again. There is a ton of street parking, as long as the area isn't too busy. Eat Crow fits right into Soulard and is such a lovely place for drinks and good food!

I had a turkey sandwich off of the regular menu and my husband had Mac n cheese from the pop-up menu. Both amazing!! We had an appetizer and drinks from the Halloween menu. The presentation was so cool!! I can't believe it took us so long to eat here! Great vibe! Wonderful staff! Delicious food!! Run don't walk to Eat Crow!!
The first time I came here, I wasn't impressed. It was a regular Thursday, and I ordered an appetizer and a few cocktails off the menu. The second time, though, I was genuinely blown away. The service was excellent, and our waiter gave great recommendations. The cheese dip was so delicious, and the Philly sandwich was amazing--though I wouldn't suggest it if you don't like cream cheese. The Halloween-themed drinks were fun, and the decorations were over the top. I'll probably be back, especially to check out specific events.
YUMMMMMM Get their Mac and cheese, the Hot Honey Mac was the best one! We also ordered the original to try it out and I've been dreaming it of since I've been!
I visited Eat Crow for the first time during their Halloween Pop-Up and thought it was fun, casual bar scene. The menu item names were very creative, but I was a little underwhelmed with the Halloween decorations and expected a bit more for a seasonal pop-up experience. The Prepare to Chai drink was delicious but I would have loved if they had offered it as a hot drink! I also ordered the Cheddar Goblin Mac and Cheese but was confused why it was served in a plastic salad bowl because it got cold almost immediately. Service was friendly but fairly slower than I'd expect for a weeknight, so not sure if that is usual or busier due to the pop-up. Other than the temperature issues, the food and drink was still good, but not sure I'd go out of my way to eat here again.
Came here on a Friday afternoon. We arrived at 11am because I thought they might get busy. It was too chilly for the patio so we went inside. Tyler immediately greeted us. I decided to get a cocktail and my friend got a mocktail. I had read the reviews and apparently the frisco melt and mac and cheese are amazing. So, I got the frisco melt and my friend got the hot honey mac and cheese. She said that the mac and cheese was really good. My frisco melt was very good. Tyler was extremely attentive even after the restaurant started to fill up. We got to-go containers because there was a lot of food. I will definitely be back.

For my first Eat Crow meal, I ordered the Green Chile Burger with a veggie patty. They were out of beef patties, which was surprising considering burgers are one of their specialties. The burger was sufficiently spicy thanks to the roasted green chiles and horseradish sauce. The Gouda jalapeño cheese sauce added another spicy note to the sandwich, but most of it had pooled under the burger, which made for a very messy burger which required handfuls of napkins. The veggie patty was ok, but had a strange aftertaste flavor. I think a black bean patty would have worked better. The side of waffle fries were okay -- some were a little undercooked but overall they made for a good accompaniment to the burger. I liked the atmosphere inside and the service was great. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to outweigh the average food.

I loved everything about this place. 80s-90s dive bar vibes. Except clean, with great service, food, and drinks. 80s-90s music playing overhead. Jurassic Park on a widescreen projector screen. Intimate space. Both bar and table seating, in addition to outdoor seating. Food was great. Lots of drink options. And they have a good draft beer selection. Will definitely be back to try more menu items. read more

This cute little pub with a bit of 80's nostalgia and cozy brick walls lived up to what we had heard! The menus were handed to us and each was a different album cover from the 80's! So cool! Our waiter was helpful with us as we chose our cocktails and took good care of us! The food arrived hot and fresh! Some good homemade soup and a big burger that hit the spot! It was the perfect spot on a Saturday night after visiting the brewery! read more

This place gives you a lot of food for the price. I got the patty melt with fries and the fries were definitely enough for two! The patty melt was also huge! Good bar food with fast service. They have TouchTunes and played good music. Also had a big screen which I assume they play football/sports games on. read more
We drive past here almost daily and have been wanting to try it for a while. This is one of the only Soulard bars that my boyfriend hasn't been to. It was too hot to enjoy their patio so we sat at the bar inside. The bar is very high. The bar stools could be a little higher, it's slightly awkward but okay. It wasn't very busy inside and we were greeted and served immediately. I really wanted to order the Mac and Cheese with the Veggie Chili but I was trying to be healthier so I got the veggie sandwich with fries. It was very good. The waffle fries were great. My boyfriend ordered the wings and a caesar salad. The salad was great, I tried it. He really loved the wings too. The menus are printed on old music records which is cool. They don't have a drink menu on paper. The beer list is on a chalk board and they have a full bar. They had a projector showing Ghostbusters. I would definitely return to try more of the menu. read more

Felt like a burger and this came up on the Yelp search. Walked in and sat ourselves per the sign. Waitress came over right away with menus and took our drink order. Wings came out pretty quick. They were good, great value. Buffalo was the right spiciness Burger was a good size, a little too pink for my well done request. It was decent. Not my typical burger order with the cheese and mayo but the pic looked so good. Bartender came over with boxes and our check. She was super nice. If I had to choose, I like their Metal Brunch menu. read more
My friends and I tried Eat Crow during their Nightmare on 12th St Halloween pop up. We were able to grab a drink at the bar while waiting on our table but it was incredibly busy. Luckily, we were able to sit outside even though it was a bit chilly. They really went all out with the decorations and it kept us entertained while we were waiting on our table! This is quickly becoming my go to place for comfort food. I've never been disappointed. The staff hands you a vinyl record sleeve. When you open it, you find the menu. So clever. My favorite appetizers are the deep-fried pretzel sticks or the pork poutine. For the main course, I usually go for the chicken Mac & cheese or one of the many cheese burgers. The sandwiches are good as well. Note that several of the menu items include a jalapeno cheese sauce. I don't like a lot of spice, but I'm not bothered by the level of heat in their food. There's a great patio when the weather is nice. It's perfect for people watching in soulard. The kitchen is fast and the drinks are cold. What's not to love? read more
What a kick ass place! We popped in here because we've never been in and we stayed for quite a bit! The place itself was decked out with everything music related. The food menu covers were record album covers! The bar itself had concert tickets all over and they had trivial pursuit all over to keep you busy. They had a big screen featuring rock music videos and I was in heaven! The bartender recommended the fries I burger with a side of ranch for the fries and I'm so glad we took his recommendation! That was the BEST Frisco burger I've had and the best homemade ranch I've tasted! The staff was awesome and the food was unreal! read more
This place was so cool and fun! A must if you love metal music. The ambiance is perfect and the food was incredible. We had a larger party, and the servers made sure we were all taken care of quickly and kindly. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu and I heard on the weekends they have someone who makes whatever cartoon pancakes you want! Plenty of room inside and plenty of parking on the street out front and on the side :) read more

Great service, wonderful food and drinks, and an awesome atmosphere! They even had mocktails! Love this place!!! Came in with a large group after a walking tour and even though we had 3, the drinks and then the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. And that Slinger Mac... it was REALLY good! Would LOVE to come back for brunch!!! read more

(MARCH 2024) It was very packed due to a soccer game but a table freed up in decent time. It has very cozy vibes. I did feel a bit of chill sitting near the door so bear that in mind for colder months. My order was a frisco melt and it was cooked just how I asked (medium rare) and their housemade ranch dressing need to be bottled up and sold in the stores it's so good! read more

We went on a Saturday and the place was pretty packed. We were able to get a table, the server told us the wait for food was going to be 45 min to an hour wait. I love that he told us that upfront. We had the time so it didn't make a difference to us. We had a couple drinks and took my 9 year old out to have a little photo fun on the patio. (It was raining on and off so no one was out there) They also have a few mocktails for those who don't partake in alcoholic beverages. My daughter had a "Jazz hands" and loved it. I had a "rum dumpster" it was really good. My husband got the Iron Maiden Trooper beer and was very happy with his decision. The food came out right around 45 minutes. Boy was it worth the wait! My husband had the BB's chicken sandwich, he absolutely loved it! I had a bite because he was raving about how good it was. I will have to agree with him. It was delicious! I had the frisco and it was delicious as well. My kiddo had a burger patty because they didn't have gluten free buns. She was ok with it though and hogged it down. Our service was outstanding and I'm pretty sure there was only one server for the whole place. He was running his butt off, but making sure everyone was taken care of. It's a little dark and divey with rock music. We had the perfect experience. The weather was not conducive for the patio but I can't wait to go back and enjoy dining outside. read more
