I went here back in late October for a lunch. I had chicken rice box with egg ($16, $1 charge for an egg) it was big. Meat was tender and veggies were fresh. Food was pretty good overall I wish I found this place sooner. It had plentiful of meat and veggies with rice so I wasn't able to finish all of my food. I thought the food was perfect for 1 serving, but ended up taking half portion home to finish it. The lady was very helpful offering me a plastic bag to take leftover home. Price was also decent as well. read more

These wraps are really delicious! Great on a sunny day for lunch outside. The green onion pancake one is elite #ContestEntry

Eat Chicken Wrap is finally back at Robson square. I've missed them so much during COVID and it's the perfect comfort food for these desperate times. Their hoisin chicken wrap is my go to from them. The wait can be long sometimes but it's worth it. At 12:45 the wait was only 10 minutes today, so not too bad. The portions are pretty big and the prices are reasonable. So happy they are back! read more

Truthfully, with the cost of food cart meals these days, I don't bother often. I find that generally more hype than substance. Found myself out and about and needing something to eat and decided to give "Eat Chicken Wraps" a try. I had the El Pastor lettuce wrap. Was probably the best quick meal I have had in years in Vancouver It might sound odd, but so often lettuce wraps. Don't give you enough lettuce that they fall apart and you lose the chispness. But the chicken were in 2 perfect little bowls of lettuce. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and el pastor was a delightful take on the traditional version. Also, a surprisingly generous portion for the low price. read more

For the past 4 months, I've been unsuccessful in finding this cart and never received a response to any of my inquiries - over the months -trying to clarify their location and hours, which was a bit frustrating (minus one star for this) .... But one fine day, I finally happened to spot their truck and though it was very busy, I decided to hop in line. I ordered buffalo chicken wrap and the Hoisin chicken wrap. The woman taking the orders was very soft-spoken so it was hard to hear her while ordering or for pickup but the line moved a decent pace and I have to say that the food was very good. Everything was fresh, cooked and seasoned well. I really enjoyed the fried onion pancake that came with the Hoisin chicken wrap and felt it was a very nice combo. A little on the sweet side. The buffalo chicken wrap was also very good, and more on the Savory side. I would definitely come here again, though it would be nice and helpful if updated hours were posted on their social media sites, especially if they are on extended hiatus, or if they would at least take the time to respond to clarifying inquiries. read more

This food truck is conveniently located in downtown and I was hungry for a simple late lunch. The folks were friendly and even happily packed the wrap into a container when asked. I ordered the Hoisin Chicken Wrap with Green Onion Pancake: grilled five spice chicken, cilantro, purple cabbage, cucumber, pickled radish, hoisin sauce ($9). I'm a fan that there's a place to quickly get a wrapped green onion pancake. The wrap was yummy and it was gone before I knew it! read more

Started working close by and this is my go to spot 2x a week easily! The guy who makes the food is /so awesome. So friendly and willing to make sure you have what you need. He is willing to make the chicken wrap the way you want. My favorite is the Cesar wrap spicy! Sometime he even grills up some jalapeño and breads then. The chicken is so delicious. Moist and cooked just right. I am trying to get ahold of the chicken sandwich but it always seems to be sold out by the time I get there! Fast service and great people! Don't miss them. read more

Haven't loved a food truck this much since I was in Portland! Other than the Rice Box and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap (which I think are 8.50), everything is a flat 7.00! The wraps themselves aren't that bad in size either (around 5.5-6 inches I think) and are VERY tasty. Had the Hoisin Chicken Roll and it was delicious. Kind of reminded me of a Taiwanese Beef Roll, albeit with Chicken instead (which itself reminded me of Shawarma pieces). Operators are both very friendly too, which is a bonus. They must be super popular as there was a film crew there today taping their preparation methods and them serving customers. Liked how they taped moist towelettes to each of the boxes so when you're done eating, you can clean your hands nicely without having to make a trip to the washroom. read more

Winner winner chicken dinner! This hoisin chicken pancake wrap for the win! I was expecting an oily pancake with greasy pieces of chicken but what a lovely surprise to get a very crispy, light and thin green onion pancake filled with nicely spiced and slightly charred smoky chicken pieces. The hoisin and five spice powder had lovely balance and didn't overpower the meal. I just wished it was bigger for $8 as I wanted more. This medium sized wrap didn't disappoint and it certainly was crispy to the very last bite unlike most wraps which get soggy at the bottom. I asked for it to be spicy, unfortunately it wasn't spicy to me but the wrap didn't need it. read more

Decent food truck usually parked @ Robson square serving not too pricey chicken wraps. Eat Chicken Wraps...... Seems it was named by Captain Obvious. They serve some interesting kinda wraps. The buffalo chicken wrap is spicy deep fried pieces of chicken wrapped in a tortilla while the Hoisin wrap is grilled chicken salad served in a crispy Chinese pancake. I have to be honest, its not mind blowing (not saying its bad) but what do you expect if you are paying $7 for a wrap. For the price and the quantity, I'd say its a pretty good deal. They also have a rice box which is grilled chicken, salad, fried egg and fried onions on a bed of rice. For those who are into low carb shit, they can substitute the rice for salad. Yes there is a lineup as it is one of the popular food trucks but the staff is friendly. And they take visa Food : Good Service : Friendly Ambiance : @#$%#% Worth the price : Yup read more

I really really love the options that this food truck has and everything I've tried is absolutely delicious and fresh. What I like is the options to have lettuce wraps (keto friendly), gluten free corn tortillas or their delicious full carb pancake. They also have a rice bowl that has a little bit of everything and is a large portion. I especially love the chicken with pineapple and garlic mayo! So yum!! Surprisingly delicious and not a waste of money. I think the key here is to get the "unconventional combo" of buffalo chicken with the "asian" green onion pancake wrap. It's a delicious combo. I'm totes into the cheese cracker too- so simple but adds a lot of pizazz to street food. read more

Wowwwww... this place is the bomb!! Although they only accept cash and credit card, it's still very worth it. The long line up and long wait time is very worth it once you try their chicken wraps!! We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and wow it's super delicious!! I can eat it every day! I'm not even kidding! It's fresh, tender juicy chicken with crunchy outside texture wrapped in hot tortilla. It has lettuce, tomatoes, crispy fried jalapeños and some really tasty sauces. The portion is huge. Very cheap!! Very yummy chicken wrap. We will definitely come back! I had been wanting to check out this food truck for awhile but thought they only operated on weekdays! I didn't really know about Eat! Chicken Wraps until I read about them on Yelp. Though I'm sure I walked past it at least a few times, I didn't notice it, and when I did it was for the wrong reasons. Like others here I find their signage to be a turnoff. For that reason I didn't patronize them until I had read a number of glowing reviews. I've had lunch here twice in the last few weeks. Both times I've liked but not loved their Al Pastor wrap. On the first occasion the first few bites were HOLY COW GOOD! But after that, the enthusiasm died down. There's a good mix of flavours and fresh ingredients but it is not spicy at all. They were both tasty if a bit lacking in cilantro and pineapple - two of my favourite things. Presentation is good - extra marks for the wrapping job which ensures it is not messy at all. The ordering process is pretty straightforward. Make your way to the front of the truck, choose from about five different kinds of wraps, a taco or a rice box and pay for your food. They also have beef/veggie hotdogs and fries, though I've never seen anyone order these. They do not take your name with your order, which makes it a bit more challenging to figure out when your food is ready. There's a cute tip-jar dog that eats from his bowl when you leave a tip. The most glaring problem for me is the wait. I made a point not to visit at the peak of their lunch rush. Despite that, on the first visit, I waited about twenty minutes, and on the second about fifteen. That's comparable to a lot of the sit-down restaurants I frequent for weekday lunches. The difference is that at the latter I can relax and unwind, but at the former there's a lot of foot and vehicle traffic, so it's not as calm. The most amusing thing in the area is the lineup at Chipotle across the street which often goes well out their door - not all that entertaining! If you're okay with waiting this long at a food truck - kudos, and know that these wraps are worth the wait. If like me you're dying to get back to work ;)...this may not be the best choice for you. The price is good - especially for a food truck. Most of them in the city charge at a minimum $10 for a plate of food that is not nearly as substantial as these chicken wraps. I often wonder what the value proposition is when the food trucks cost the same or more than a proper restaurant. I thought the whole point was that since they're avoiding the overhead of running an actual restaurant, they would pass on the savings. Not so most of the time, but Eat! Chicken Wraps is the exception to the rule. read more

Finally goto to try this place! Ordered the hoisin chicken roll. Chicken was seasoned well all the way through, lettuce and cabbage were fresh and crunchy and oh man, the roti type wrap was buttery, crispy, delicious! It got a little salty halfway through, perhaps because of the hoisin sauce but was an awesome regardless! Definitely going back to try the other wraps! On a side note: thought the lady who took my order could have been a little nicer :( she was so chirpy to the girl after me, would have been nice to get the same treatment! read more

I spent a little too long wandering the streets of downtown on my lunch break and needed a quick food fix that I could eat on the way back to my office. I spotted this food truck and was impressed with their prices - most of their wraps are only $7! Staff were friendly enough and seemed pretty busy with a few other people in line waiting for their wraps. I decided on the chicken Ceasar wrap. I loved the presentation! I was impressed with how big it was and was happy to see fresh parmesan on it. Honestly, the chicken was slightly overcooked and I didn't taste any honey mustard sauce, but it was still really tasty and filling! I didn't finish it by the time I made it back to the office so I had the rest as a late afternoon snack. Would try it again. read more

I wouldn't have tried them out if not for Yelp. See this truck in front of the law courts all the time but their cartoony look threw me off. I tried the Hoisin Chicken Wrap. The flavors reminded me of Peking Duck wraps in Shanghainese restaurants, except it's chicken instead of duck, someone's wrapped it up for you, and its wwaaaayyy bigger. It even has that crunchy texture provided by the lettuce and some crispier chunks of chicken. The Chinese pancake used to wrap everything up was perfectly done with a light crisp. Now that I've tried them, I'm really glad I did. Now I have a new go-to place for a quick, cheap ($7-$8), tasty lunch Downtown if I'm craving something Asian. read more

Eat Chicken Wraps is a top-notch food truck that I regret having passed on for so long. Located by the outdoor patio area on Robson Square, they're a bright yellow truck run by a husband/wife duo from China. You're probably thinking (as I did before), Chinese people making wraps? How can that be awesome? When you see how they added their own brilliant Chinese twist to the wrap, you'll understand. I had the Hoisin Chicken Roll ($7) which consists of "crispy chinese pancake, five spice chicken, asian salad, pickled radish, green onions, and hoisin sauce". The brilliance of this wrap is the fact that they use a Chinese pancake as the wrap instead of pita! This changes everything. Not only was it a great idea to use a Chinese pancake (like the kind used in Taiwanese beef onion pancake rolls), theirs was amazingly crispy and not crazy oily. Fantastic pancake, I would just eat it on its own! The hoisin sauce was good and the chicken was very tender. I also had the Kung Pao Chicken Lettuce Wrap (2 for $7). It's got chicken, kungpao sauce, sesame chilli oil, and more on iceberg lettuce. It's got a nice texture to it and is decently spicy. Didn't really wow me, as the chicken on this one was actually a little on a dry side. Eat Chicken Wraps also has a secret item that you have to ask for - the Poutine Al Pastor ($7). It's a poutine with Mexican roasted chicken, pico de galio, guacamole, grilled pineapple, cilantro, lime juice, lettuce, and onions. In other words, a mouthgasm of epic proportions! The fries were good and the toppings were bang on delicious. It's pretty huge as well, so this one is well worth the $7! read more

Hoisin chicken roll from the Eat Chicken Wraps food truck, wrapped in a flaky Chinese green onion pancake along with lettuce, cucumber, and some pickled vegetables. The savoury flavours of the chicken and pancake blend nicely with the sweetness of the hoisin sauce, which, along with a hint of sourness from the pickles, makes for a great blend of flavours. The vegetables and the pancake also add a bit of crunch to the tenderness of the chicken, offering a nice contrast in texture. Food trucks usually aren't exactly cheap, so at $8, it's considerably less expensive than some of their competitors in the area, where you'll usually be looking at $10+. Those of you who've been following me on Instagram for a while may recall a photo I posted two years ago of their buffalo chicken wrap as well, which is also excellent (and in need of a proper review). An always reliable fixture of the Robson Square food truck scene... highly recommended! read more

Chicken strips and fries are my favorite. Not only is it delicious, its also a sweet deal!

I chose to try a wrap here rather than going to Chipotle today. Had the al pastor chicken wrap and it reminded me of the food trucks in NYC! The wrap was thin and had a nice doughiness to it, like the burritos at Tacofino. The wrap had lettuce, tomatoes, and pineapple in it as well. The sauce tasted like a sriracha mayo and it wasn't overpowering or too spicy. The wrap was a decent size for $9, definitely enough for lunch. I also like how they are open later than all the other food trucks. read more

I've walked past this food truck a million times and barely gave it a thought. I think the somewhat generic name wasn't resonating with me. Note to marketing department at Eat Chicken Wraps. Then a friend and fellow Yelper Sophia Z. mentioned she tried a mysterious wrap from here that used a Chinese pancake. I was instantly intrigued. My first visit I opted to the the Chicken Al Pastor which uses a regular wrap, I wanted to get a sense of it before I stepped up to the Hoisin Chicken Roll. Long and short, they're very both good but the Hoisin Chicken Roll is unique AND delicious. Nom nom nom. read more

When this food cart used to be on Robson, I used to walk by it without thinking to look at the menu. Then when I heard that they make a chicken wrap with a green onion Chinese pancake, I had to stop in! The Hoisin Chicken Roll did not disappoint! The Chinese pancake was crispy and not greasy at all and it held nice tender chicken pieces as well as a flavourful, fresh salad. It was messy but delicious! I've also tried the secret Twitter special(poutine al pastor) that Chris Y. describes in loving detail. I won't try to match his words. I liked it but would probably stick with the wrap. Apparently they will accommodate vegetarians with custom wraps. I have no trouble believing that because the couple that runs this cart are so nice. These are no ordinary chicken wraps, people! Prices are reasonable and the food is tasty and filling. read more

I'll be honest this is my favorite food truck. For $8 I always order the Hoisin chicken wrap and make it spicy. I introduce this wrap to every one of my good friends and they end up loving it as well. Damn, I can't get enough of this. Read good reviews of this place so I thought I'd buy a wrap for my Saturday lunch with my mother. The lady who took my order was very friendly and I ended up ordering the Chicken Al Pastor wrap. It took about 10 minutes before we got the wrap (there was only one other person ahead). So why only two stars for this experience? While the wrap, in principle is reasonably priced, there wasn't much in it as far as substance. After a few bites of the wrap, my mother and I both agreed that it was lacking -- there were only a few pieces of chicken so we couldn't really fully grasp its flavour (we looked inside and also found only a few chunks) and we were surprised that guacamole was listed as one of its ingredients as we did not taste it at all. The only thing we tasted in between the flour wrapping was the crunchy lettuce, pineapple, and some sauce. Maybe it was one of their 'off days' and perhaps I'll go back and try one of their other wraps, like the Hoisin Chicken Roll. But honestly speaking given the variety of food choices available in that area, I may go and spend my hard earned bucks elsewhere =/ read more

I have lots of respect for food trucks these days. They have grown up into mobile restaurants rather than traveling concession stands. EAT Chicken Wraps is one of many that park downtown. Their truck design is very large and in your face which is probably why I've avoided them for so long. But finally on a cold, rainy day I decided to give them a try. The lines are usually long but not this time. I ordered the rice box. It's very tasty. Plenty of food. And the extra condiments you can add to spice up the dish is appreciated. For $9 it's quite a good deal. Only one thing: if you're chewing on what appears to be shredded cabbage and it's not breaking down... double check. I had a thin slice of plastic bag that I was eating. Thank goodness I didn't try to swallow it!! read more

Everytime I come downtown, I look for this joint. I hate how its a food truck and it closes so early and only opens during specific times. The hoisin chicken wrap is AMAZING. Tried the hoisin chicken wrap. Wasn't super huge, but was filling. And comparable to other places that charge you $10 for a larger wrap. It was delicious. Chicken tasted like the type you get from a shwarma place. Only thing is when you pay they don't ask for your name or give you a number. The young cashier (i think she was hispanic) does it all by memory. After waiting 15-20 mins, you're not really sure if she really has it in the right order as I think i may have ordered after a couple that was sitting there thinking the same thing, but we really weren't sure what order we ordered in. I had made it in just before a huge rush. Waited about 20 min for my food. She was pretty good though in looking at the person and indicating here's your wings, x wrap, etc. But as I said, i cannot imagine how she has everything in perfect order without any prompts and while taking orders.
