I stayed at Easy Hotel for 4 days/3 nights as I was meeting an old friend at the end of my Europe travels. The price was the best part about it. Given its awesome location (10 minute walk from the Museum Square), blocks from hip bars, restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops, it is well worth its while. The rooms are small but the bed is a double, and very conformable.
Its important to remember that Easy Hotel provides exactly what I was looking for: a place to shave, sh%t. sleep, and store my stuff while I explored the city. If you are a person who plans on spending their days in a hotel watching TV, its probably not the place for you. If you are a high maintenance person who wants room service to bring you tea and caviar, this is not the place for you. If you have simple needs and really just need a place to crash, this place is for you.
The location probably couldn't get better. You are near bars, pubs, cafes, and coffee shops (the ones you smoke pot in).
The price is perfect. Its cheap but not a hostel.
The bed, room, and bathroom are clean.
USB Plug-ins for phones and iPods
Energy efficient rooms, but when you leave the room (you take your key with you), the power turns off so you can't charge your phone if you leave the room
A note of warning: The bathroom and shower are very small and are connected by the same door. Since the room is small, a large obese person would have difficulty closing the door and might be restricted from taking a shower. read more
