LOVED this place! We're not from the neighborhood but passed by and the place looked welcoming so stopped in. We had a few beers, the lemonade cocktail (so good!), taco loaded tots, pizza, & the chicken sandwich are we're IMPRESSED WITH EVERYTHING! Clean establishment, perfect service, cute place! We will be back! read more

It's a tie between Easy Street and Pequods for my favorite Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago. The crust is flavorful and perfectly cooked. I love the caramelization of all the ingredients together. So damn gooood!! My go-to for Deep Dish read more

This place looks like the basement of a house that's trying to have a nonstop Super Bowl party. The "decor" is plain, gray, and cold, and the TVs everywhere are a little much for such a small space. We've been a few times over the last couple of years. The most recent time was earlier this year, when the rule in IL was that you had to wear a mask at all times, especially indoors. But for some reason our waiter declared himself the exception to that rule, as he was NOT wearing a mask. It was unsettling, but we were there with a couple of extended family members, and didn't want to make a big thing of it. But it wasn't exactly what we were expecting from a business. Needless to say, we won't be going back. The food and atmosphere is definitely not worth risking our health for. read more

Delicious pizza! I love adding fresh garlic on my pizza! Amazing cheese curds! Definitely my go to pizza place.

So I have all the good things to say about this one place except for one time I decided to eat in. The food is amazing, I LOVE the pizza (both pub and deep dish), the pepperoni rolls were awesome, and the beer was cold. The problem that I had is that there were 3 gentlemen sitting at the far end of the bar vaping in the bar while talking to the bartenders. I just can't give a place that will let the happen without any repercussions 5 stars. So I don't think I'll ever eat in again, but I'll stick with delivery because it's fast, it's good, and it's reasonably priced. read more

I decided to order pizza from here since I was visiting my parents. The first time we ordered the pizza was fresh, thin and flavorful. I was very surprised to receive a pale pizza. It was not flavorful at all. The crust was too thick and doughy to be thin crust and there was a thick layer of cheese. Delivery was quick and the driver was friendly. They may want to reconsider their current recipe and go back to their original one. The tavern pizza was great when they first opened. read more

The service was pretty bad, the server took way too much time to bring about the food. We had to go and call attention to ourselves before they even took our order. The thin crust that takes about 25 mins was served in 40 mins. The pizza wasn't much to write home about. It's not bad by any means but it's not something I'll crave again. Combined with the very slow service, this is a place I won't be visiting again. read more

Amazing pizza and my favorite is the pepperoni pizza rolles. And I never never had dairy free pizza and they have it HERE!!! And was soooo amazing!!!!! read more

Chill but fun atmosphere; good music. Friendly and fast bartenders even on a busy night. Came for the patio which looked awesome but was pretty packed so we grabbed some sweet seats at the end of the bar next to the open windows. The place was hopping on a Friday night. Had the crispy chicken sandwich with the sriracha honey sauce--succulent, spicy and sweet. Niiiiice buns! The fries are really well seasoned---much better than shitty frozen fries; really good. We'll be back! read more

Order the pan pizza and enjoy the burnt cheese on the crust! We've lived in the neighborhood for a couple years now and I don't know why we we waited to long to try this place out. We always order for pickup but the inside and back patio look nice. Also, always use a coupon! read more

So wonderful to have an affordable, neighborhoody, trendy (but not obnoxiously so) place to dine in Portage Park. This was their first week open, so some kinks to work out in terms of speed of service, but this will be fixed in time, I'm sure. The buffalo chicken rolls were to die. The two pizzas we got (Easy Street Special and Spicy Hawaiian) were *almost* too spicy (and we like spicy stuff), but evenly cooked and otherwise tasty. Thy need more beer selections on tap. read more

Easy Street is an unassuming neighborhood bar restaurant. Decent beer list; bottles and tap. The staff is young and hip; but also friendly and courteous. I had an appetizer which was interesting, but on my next visit I will have to try the pizza. They have take out as well. Easy Street is an enjoyable place to meet up with friends and spend a few hours. read more

Our first time here and it was fantastic. Great hidden gem with a bright atmosphere inside for sports on tv or a little family dinner. The menu had very tempting appetizers but we couldn't try them all. What we did try, pepperoni rolls, Buffalo wings and cheese curds were all very delicious! What I was most impressed with was the presentation. A business that takes pride in presentation speaks volumes! We then had the pan pizza and I must say it was exactly what I never anticipated from a random last minute dinner spot. The pizza was outstanding! The flavor of the sauce to the crust was everything you could want from a pie. To top it off, it wasn't super greasy like most! And certainly last but not least, our waitress Brittney was extremely attentive, friendly and helpful through our "when in Rome" ordering and time eating. She killed it! It's very rare that an entire experience of dinner leaves such a lasting impression for me personally. It's my pleasure to leave this review for your business. I hope you continue what we experienced today through your many years of success. Keep up the good work and I'll definitely be back! read more

We went to Easy Street last weekend and really enjoyed it! Our group started with taco nachos that were addicting. The pizza was fantastic - great bread-y deep dish crust and cracker-thin crust also. We liked the Hawaiian jalapeno thin crust pizza and enjoyed the good sausage and sauce on our deep dish pizza (I just had the leftovers for lunch...). There were a couple of other options we have to come back for - the sandwiches look really good too, and I've heard good things about the burger. Good beer selection and a nice set of craft cocktails. My only complaint was that service was a little slow the night we were there; the place was pretty busy though so that might have been the reason. The indoor space looked nice, clean and comfortable, and they kept the old icebox coolers from when it was the neighborhood dive. Great outdoor area but the picnic tables and benches are rather uncomfortable. All in all, it lived up to the good reviews we have heard! read more

One of my favorite places to order from! Everything comes fresh and delicious. Cheese curbs and buffalo rolls at 10 out of 10.

This spot just opened up in Portage Park right down the street from me. I've been here twice now. The atmosphere is low key, with minimal decorations, which was actually very refreshing. Has been packed both times I've gone, and we got seats immediately at the bar both times. Service was attentive and friendly from the bartender. Got a pan style pizza with mushrooms and onions the first time, and tried the BBQ chicken specialty pizza this time. Both were good, but could use slightly more salt, and I'm someone who does not like a lot of salt. The BBQ pizza had chicken spread on the entire pizza. I was very impressed! Even the smallest pizza is actually quite large. Both times we took a box home. I would suggest ordering smaller than you think you need. The mixed drinks are also great! I loved the strawberry vodka lemonade. Beer selection is good. Will be back when they have the beer garden open! read more

First time visitor. Heard great things about this place so I had to check it out myself. We ordered the "Easy Street Specialty Pizza" which consists of Popcorn Chicken, Pepperoncini and Fiesta Ranch. Pizza had lots of flavor and was crispy. We ordered a side order of fries and we impressed with the quality for a pizza place. Had a couple 3 Floyd's Gumball Head which was the perfect complement to a delicious pizza. We weren't able to sit outside due to a private party but that just gives us a reason to go back. read more

Kitchen is really slow. I took like 40 min to get my pizza, the waitress said that they are really busy up there, but the place was empty... Pizza doesn't worse the money they ask for it. It tastes like it's frozen pizza from the store. Especially the crust was really bad. Never add basil to it, because they gonna charge you for that, but they don't even have a fresh basil, just dry seasoning. The place is clean and bright, but no concept. Server was very nice but not competent. I'm not gonna come back. read more

We tried a couple appetizers which were terrible. The wings barely had any meat on them. I would never order those here again. We also had the cheese curds which were disappointing as well. They were way too heavily breaded. The order was huge, but we couldn't handle more than a few each. No good. I would not order them here again. The saving grace was the pizza. We got a thin crust with a few toppings. It was good. Not great, but definitely worth trying again. Ingredients were fresh, crust was crisp and they have a good sauce. The interior is nice. Several TVs for watching games, etc. But, those stools that they have at the high top dining tables are awful. Very uncomfortable. Either sit at the bar or get one of the few booths. read more

We've brought our family here multiple times and never had a problem. Food was okay but the lack of professionalism was my issue yesterday. Took an 1 1/2 to get all of our parties food while others who came in after us got their food. We just ordered an app, 2 12' pizzas, and 2 chicken sandwiches. We weren't being checked on by our waitress consistently or our table wasn't being cleaned off as plates and drinks were getting done and finished. As mom for a 12' thin crust pizza to take 50 minutes is way too long for a kid. Also to see that shots with customers took priority over professionalism is unfortunate. We really liked this place and the vibe but this experience unfortunately this has lead me to not return to this establishment. read more

Ordered a pizza and salad. They Delivered to the wrong house. Once they realized that, we had to call them they said they would send some new food but it would take an hour, we agreed. After another hour went by we called and were placed on hold, passed around to different managers who ultimately told us that the delivery driver was coming in to wait another 15 minutes. We called back after 15 minutes and there was still no food, again they passed us around and kept us on hold, ultimately to tell us that the food was possibly lost in transit. We had to contact GrubHub for a refund. Nobody ever apologized or took ownership, it was just really disappointing and we never even got to try a simple pizza and salad. 2+ hours and we live down the street. Will never try again! read more

Summary: Received wrong pizza order. Delivery service was great. Pizza that was received had little flavor and bad crust. Ordered: 10" pan pizza with pepperoni, bacon, fresh basil, garlic, "well done", and requested extra sauce. Received: 10" pan pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, basil (minced so finely and uniformly I question of it was fresh), garlic, well done, normal amount of sauce. This was an online order on a Wednesday evening. Wednesday special is delivery is free. Delivery driver was quite friendly and respected social distancing. Food arrived earlier than expected which was nice. Pizza was still nicely warm but not overly hot when delivered. No problem with customer service overall. Putting aside the incorrect order and less-than-preferred amount of sauce, I was very disappointed with the pizza. The sauce that was there had done flavor but not much. The pepperoni had almost no flavor. And close to the edge the crust wasn't crispy from being well done but was highly chewy instead. Typically when I think of fresh basil on a pizza I think of strips of basil like on a margarita pizza. Instead the basil was finely minced. Noting inherently wrong with that but it became hard to find basil flavor. The mushrooms tasted, felt, and looked canned. It's easy for pizza places to put far too cheese on the pizza. Fortunately, Easy Street didn't do that. Overall, I'm highly disappointed and can't recommend East Street due to getting my order wrong and then on its own merits the pizza that was delivered being lackluster-at-best. Edit 1: Typo and revised final sentence to be slightly easier to understand. read more

Three stars only based on the past, but not the recent past. New Years Day the inattentive bartender screwed up our to go order we placed while sitting across the bar from him. Great food! Always friendly staff and fresh food! My kids love going here to sit outside.

So, this is a strange business.... they offered a free delivery special for Wednesday and Thursday, GREAT! I was excited to try their pizza. I contacted this place SEVEN times. Six phone calls and tried to order online. All went unanswered and ignored. In fact, SEVERAL people complained of the same experience. Instead of offering an apology, a simple, "Sorry, we were having technical difficulties!" They DELETED comments from their Facebook page and blocked people from being able to comment. They also acted like people were lying about calling to place orders?!?!? What kind of terrible communication is that? I live a few blocks from here. They lost any chance of ever earning my business again. I like my pizzas well-done not passive aggressive. read more

Very nice little spot to relax and get a quick bite while watching part of the game. I definitely love the cheese curds. ordered a pizza for carryout last night. It took about 20 more minutes than they had said but it was football sunday so it could have been busy. the pizza itself was good nothing super great about it. it would have been better if cooked for a lil bit more and had some crisp to it. but that also could be attributed to being busy and wanting to get it out as we were waiting for the pizza. i do wish it had some more seasoning some garlic on it would have been a real boost of flavor. but seeing as they offer it as a topping they prolly dont use it unless its asked for. i would try it again but only if im being lazy as chicago has so many great pizza places. Really the only reason i ordered was mama lunas has been a real hi or miss place recently so im branching out. read more

First time dining here was good. Service was prompt and friendly. They give you a basket of chips at your table. We got a cheese pizza and sriracha wings. Cheese pizza was decent, but OH MAN the wings were fire. Definitely would return here for $.50 wing day on Tuesdays. Place was smaller, but didn't get to go to the beer garden due to the weather. PIzza was about average, for some inexplicable reason they sprinkled my pie with green stuff, which wasn't asked for. It turned out to be parsley. I thought it tasted odd and wish that it had not been added. The crust, sauce and amount of ingredients was good. If I order from here again, I'll ask about keeping the green stuff off the pizza. I get that it was the first time to deliver to my place, but it took longer than the estimate and I live relatively close. Pizza wasn't hot by the time it got here. read more

I have been here 3x in the past month, thats how good this place is. Review in short: its a typical sports bar theme, AMAZING food: thin crust pizza, wings, chicken sandwich, COOKIE SKILLET (oh yes, you must try). Nice sized patio, relaxed atmosphere, very nice staff, great service, reasonable prices, will definitely keep coming back. Long review: We were in the area and heard it was new so we decided to check it out, its a sports bar and very much feels that way when you walk in. It was nice out so we decided to sit on the patio and order some food and drinks, bonus they have TVs outside so you can watch the game on the patio. The patio is full of picnic tables with plenty of seating, they have lights strung across the top which gives it a nice ambiance at night. It's really laid back which I love, it has a nice relaxed, stay here for a while, kind of vibe to it. Our server, her name was Sara, we've had her a few times already and she is awesome. Even when it was just us out on the patio she always made sure to check in if we needed anything and fast when we did ask for something. The drinks come out quick and correct . We've had their spiked lemonade which is very tasty, you wont even realize how its hitting you until you stand up haha, as well as the babe rose that was on special the other night. Okay for the food, the shining star of this place is the kitchen. Everything I have had here has tasted amazing! The thin crust pizza is crispy without being too thin where it doesn't fill you up, the cheesy is melty, it always comes out hot to where you have to let it cool till you can take a bite. The chicken sandwich we had buffalo style. Flavorful, juicy chicken, it taste like the real deal, the wings are the same. Everything is incredibly crispy here in the best way possible. You can hear the crunch of the bite of the wings even the sauced and tossed ones. I recommend the bbq sauce, buffalo, or the memphis dry rub! And the big finale, the skillet cookie! They load this thing up with ice cream and whipped cream, the center of the cookie is still hot and gooey, its sweet, chocolatey, creamy, and just perfect. It's a must try if your into that kind of thing (and all the best people are). Anyways, I highly recommend checking this little spot out. My only complaint is I wish they had a better sign in front because even though we have been here multiple times I still drive past it and almost miss it. read more
