4 stars because of the vibe and the way awesome waitress! The food-I would give 2 stars. This was my first time here, I would definitely come back for drinks, and to watch a game, etc. Now, I LOVE fried pickles and these would have been so good with the pickle was so thin, so it was more like fried dough. The buffalo chicken wrap Would have been good, if it was made correctly. It was literally a ton of Buffalo hot sauce mixed with chicken. There was no balance. Now the shrimp tacos were really the worst lol. I've never seen shrimp tacos like this before, they literally boiled shrimp did not season them and put them on tortillas. That's it. No lettuce or cilantro or onion or sour cream, I mean nothing but what you see in the photo. I've never seen shrimp tacos served this way. I would go back, but I doubt I would order food.

This is my first time here and wow this place is huge! So many places to sit! Including an outdoor patio! This is definitely a spot for a party! Let's start with the drinks since they have a lot of craft beers. I got the Maplewood Son of Juice. It's great & $6! The drink prices here pretty great! Now the food. I got 12 traditional BBQ wings & my fiancé got 6 traditional Sriracha Buffalo wings along with a basket of fries in which we shared. Additionally, the wings come with celery & carrots as well as a side of ranch. The wings are jumbo and we're perfectly cooked. They had such great flavor and will definitely satisfy your hunger. The Sriracha wings were nice and spicy and the BBQ wings were great and tangy. The fries are good but nothing to write home about. Overall, this was a great experience. The food was great and the service was fantastic. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend!

Great food, great service, friendly customers. It has a really chill neighborhood vibe. The best garlic parmesan wings I've ever had. And the BBQ burger was fresh and tasty. And the prices are very reasonable. 10/10. I will definitely be back. I just wish I remembered our servers name because she was an absolute gem: the kind of person who makes her customers feel instantly at home. A friendliness and warmth that doesn't feel forced or fake. Overall it was an awesome dining experience and I'm looking forward to going back next weekend!

Let me start with a firm warning! Do not, absolutely do not order an Old Fashion. Yeah. Bad. So imagine a 5 star review after that open. Well, that's how fantastic this place really turned out to be. Great atmosphere. Fun bartender (the upgrades make you look 28 girl!). Bar food is top notch. Honestly, no doubt at all you should go here. I will be back soon.

Horrible service and wings are smaller then my thumb . Wouldn't recommend ordering food from here

Mediocre bar. Looks much cooler on the outside than it is on the inside. Should have more drink specials

A short fuse and a close call…read more After Emily and I checked in to our hotel room, we wanted to stretch our legs and see if there was anything nearby for some beer and some food. Turns out, Short Fuse was right up the road and a 5 minute walk got us there. For a Sunday, it wasn't too busy but not dead, so we got seated right away. We ordered some beer and took a look at the menu. While nothing really struck our fancy, our waitress made a comment that if we did want any food, it might be slim pickings as they were running out of stuff. Turns out, this day was the last day they were open. Talk about timing! After she mentioned that, I started to notice that people were buying bar signs and various other things. Emily started off with a Guava Gose and I grabbed a Krankshaft kolsch. We sampled each other beers and we both really liked what the other ordered. I don't really know what a gose is but, damn, was that good! I've had Krankshaft before so I knew what I was getting myself in to. We ended up ordering a second round of the same beers and let each other sample the other's beer a little more liberally this time. While we were kind of hungry, nothing on the menu really struck our fancy, especially considering they might've been out of it. Room service took care of those hunger pangs later after a few more beers in the hotel bar. Online reviews for this place seemed hit and miss but I really enjoyed my time there and really enjoyed the artwork on the walls and the vibe of the place. We did contemplate buying some bar signs on our way out but declined as we don't know what we would exactly do with them. It sucks to see a small business close but they did say they may try to open up a new place in a new location in the future.

The dishes were a little more spicy than the spice levels we requested but they had great flavor, so maybe order down one spice level than usual. The naan has a beautifully soft texture and is very fresh. Our server was helpful and attentive. The place has a comfortable feel to it but the lighting was a bit too blue/cool. Portions were reasonable for the price. Would come back to try other dishes on the menu.

Greetings my Foodzies, today we went to 4 Jokers (Rutiv said that when him and his three brothers…read morewere growing up in India, people in the neighborhood gave them the nickname of jokers, they were poor, but dreamt of having a restaurant so when their dream came true, they named it 4 jokers) ; 8347 w Grand Ave. in Rivers Grove. I met the owner Rutiv who is very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming at Taste of Elmwood Park (which by the way is a great way to preview foods from local restaurants) when I tried their Philly steak sandwich, we had it again today. The sandwich was delicious, I would have liked the bread toasted to a crunchy element but was still a good sandwich. For an appetizer we had Samosa (similar to an empanada in concept) this was filled with peas and potatoes which were seasoned nicely and when accompanied with the turmeric sauce was awesome. The turmeric sauce added spice and a new level of flavor. We also tried the marsala fries, they were regular crinkle, cut fries, but with a special flavor of marsala; also very tasty. I ordered the Goat Curry marinated goat cooked in a homemade cashew gravy. I also ordered garlic naan which was phenomenal; the goat was season well and very tender, it also came with Jeera which is a light rice that you can literally sprinkleon the curry instead of being clumpy like regular white rice. Using the naan as a vessel to eat, the dish, took it to a whole new level. Glenda tried the mango lassi, which is basically a shake made with mango, ice cream, and shaved almonds on top. That drink was cool and refreshing. We will definitely return to this restaurant, there are a few more things that I would like to try. I give this restaurant 5 stars, Ciao Ciao for now. please give it a try and let me know your opinion.
