I walked from the Blue Line and felt extremely safe. It's in such a pretty part of town. There are plenty of seating spaces both inside and outside. When you arrive, you find a table you like and then go up to the counter to order. They have QR codes everywhere so you can see the menu online. If you like natural wines this is the place for you. The people who work here are absolutely incredible. I came straight from the airport so had my suitcase and one of the bartenders offered to take my bag to the back which I adored. My friend also took a really long time to get there from work so I just hung out for a while and they didn't make me feel too weird about it. One of them even gave me a generous pour of the wine I got. I also ordered us a meat and cheese board which was simple, but nice. Do know that the prices are a bit high here. If you want to get a full bottle of wine the average price is about $60 for a bottle. The aesthetics of this bar are A+. It is really loud inside. The name says it all, you will be using outside voices. While we adored this place, the music was a bit loud so it was a little hard to catch up. That being said, we made the most of it. It also was the spot that I asked her to be my bridesmaid so it'll forever have a special place in my heart. They had great cocktails at Larry's! They have a cocktail of the week and a dealer's choice. I highly recommend getting the dealer's choice. You tell the bartender the type of liquor and drinks you normally like, and they surprise you with something! The bartenders were amazing and whipped up a cool drink for me that was floral + tequila. Because it is located in the lobby of the apartment building, it is not something you see from the street. The bar itself is very small, but there are multiple seating options outside of the actual bar. You are permitted to take your drink to the lobby or to the outside patio area. Both are nice and allow for a pleasant drinking experience, but folks that live in the building sit there as well, on laptops or reading. The vibe of the bar is super chill, with this crazy red hue that I love. I am not a big cocktail person per se, but if you are into them like The Queen is, then you are in for a treat. There are also non-alcoholic selections for wines, beers and cocktails for those that require that. In addition they also have bubbles, so that is a win for me. In addition to great cocktails and bubbles, they also do "Summer Movie Nights" on the patio. You can bring a blanket, grab a drink and enjoy. Once you're in, the main space indoors is a big open bar with some tables/booths and places to sit but also a lot of standing room. There is a big drink menu that is projected onto the wall that is pretty beer heavy, but there are some other options for non beer drinkers! I got a jalapeno ranch water that was really good. There is a large patio space that looks so fun for the summer. The concert venue is in the back. It's pretty small, but perfect for more intimate shows. We had so much fun!! I think he was born with a stick shoved up his ass and has been shoving it further every chance he gets. I was mid-order when he snapped at us, didn't even let me finish my sentence, aggressively told us absolutely not and then just walked away and ignored us. We were going to order 3 glasses of wine and 3 shots but his tantrum started before I could ask for the shots. There was no reason for him to treat us like that, so the stick up his ass is the only explanation. He's clearly not fit to be a bartender if somebody ordering drinks is the biggest inconvenience in his life. Sending him to therapy might be wasted. I think he'd just bring the stick with him.
