We had a great breakfast! We were looking for Scramblez Cafe, but our GPS led us to this here. A very friendly staff. They offered us wonderful suggestions. The food was very good but they lose a star for service (drinks never refilled) and two for the cooks' bad habits. We were able to see right into the kitchen while waiting for our table and saw at least four instances in which a cook ate food with bare ands and continued to prepare food without washing them. read more

I had a simple breakfast of egg whites english muffin and fruit. This items no longer shows on the menu, but it is still available if you ask. The fruit was fresh as well as the salsa I put on my eggs. My boys had the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs and breakfast burrito. Everyone was satisfied and service was pleasant and attentive. I usually would drive out to Leona Valley to have breakfast at the Creekside Cafe, but will definitely make this a regular spot. read more

My wife and I decided to try this place after the new owners took over. The staff were the same staff from Scramblez. They are always friendly everytime we've gone. Ordered the corned beef and hash and was surprised it was actually slices of corned beef and chunks of potatos. It was different but nothing extraordinary. Average, at best. The staff, other than a couple ladies, do not make their customers feel welcome at all. I see the one guy server being extremely friendly with certain people but if you're not on the "regulars" list he acts as if serving you is really putting him out. New to the area so I decided to try this place out. Walked in and seated immediately. Ordered a cinnamon roll and Mardi Gras eggs benedict. Food came out and it was excellent. Eggs poached perfectly, sausage was flavorful, and bun melted in your mouth. Cinnamon roll was buttery, filled with cinnamon and brown sugar. Best one i have tried so far read more

My first time here, and I tried the Easy Quartz Hill omelet. This establishment does not disappoint!! Our server Sarah did an amazing job engaging us and making us feel welcome. When i could not decide between the a breakfast burrito and omelet, she recommended the omelet and even brought out the special sauce that is in the burrito so I wouldn't have buyers remorse. So the family, I just finished up a bike ride, and decided to grab a late breakfast. So we pulled up and the name was different but noticed that some of the staff was still there (Kevin). We sat at the counter (bar), and ordered, wife ordered an omelette which was the special, son ordered a kids burger, and I ordered the homemade corned beef hash. My wife killed the omelette, no problem there. Asked for some lettuce and tomato for my son's burger, it seamed the cook had a problem with that. My corned beef hash well....it was a plate with a lot potatoes, and some hash. I also hope you like butter on your toast because there is alot. From sitting at the bar I could see that the servers were trying not to upset the cook? That was kinda weird, it seamed like they were walking on egg shells. They were polite about there missing hash browns, or missing bacon, and the cook would slam the plates at the window like he had a chip on his shoulder. Told the server that there was no hash in my order, and nothing happen. :( Well I know we won't be going there again. read more

Very dis-appointed. We thought with a name like that we'd enjoy a special breakfast. Ours was completely bland, no real taste to anything. More salt & pepper didn't help at all. Their prices are a bit higher than our usual places and that too made us think we were in for something special...but no. We are new to the area and have been coming to this restaurant, over the course of the last 10 months we have always noticed that the wait staff never check on you, and I always have to ask for coffee or water refills. Portions are not worth the price. Time to venture out. read more

On the way back from a long week in Mammoth, we were so hungry and wanted a good and hot breakfast. We ended up by the Easy Egg Cafe and thought to give it a try. It was the best decision we made the whole trip! There were many options that looked tastybut, I decided to go with their corned beef hash, which is one of my favorite breakfast dishes....until I saw a plate of chicken fried steak being delivered to the table next to us. So, I switched my order to the chicken fried steak and, I have to add, our server was more than accomodating. She even said I made the right choice because they have the best gravy in town with out giving any push-back or attitude. Once the food was delivered, we were all quiet for about 5 minutes until one of my friends said "damn, this is so good! You guys messed up and should've got what I did". We all said the same thing. My chicken fried steak was by far, one of the best, if not the best I've ever had. One of my friends got the corned beef hash and the other got the chili cheese omlette. I stole a bite of the hash and omelette and they were both great as well. On the way back home, we all agreed that we need to go back to the Easy Egg Cafe whenever we are in the area or passing through. If you are in the area or are driving on the 14 freeway, do yourself a favor and eat at the Easy Egg Cafe. read more

The worse! Three of us ordered the same omelette , we received scrambled eggs. Mine were swimming in grease ,my daughters had raw red onions they were all different. I wanted to leave as soon as we received the menus which were all filthy. The waitress apologized said the menus were old they no longer serve omelettes. So first time here, I got the migas scrambler and my wife got the corned beef and hash. Both were very good! I haven't had migas since I was in Texas and they reminded me why I like migas so much. My family and I visited The Easy Egg for the first time today. It was such a treat just walking in to such a cozy, welcoming Cafe with charming decor and friendly staff. The food was AMAZING. My Monte Cristo was the best I have ever had, and I've had a few. The omelette and country potatoes were perfectly prepared. We decided to also order and share the biscuits and gravy which is must try if you visit. Great service, and prices for quality food. I really wanted to like this place, but yuck. It was purchased from the owners of Scramblez, but while the menu is close don't expect the same food. The quality is much cheaper and the new recipes for the items are terrible. The biscuit in the biscuit and gravy was flat and greasy and the gravy had not flavor except for the salt and pepper that was added to it at the table. The tuna sandwich with smothered in Dijon mayo so along with the mayo in the tuna salad it was just grease on bread. Didn't have trouble getting a table, but now I know why read more

We had a party of three and waited about 15 minutes go a table. Not bad at all. We thought the food was ok and the portions were a good size. I might suggest that the owners think about a senior menu or at least a way to order half portions. Just too much food for the average older person. Overall a good meal and good staff. read more

Great little local spot for breakfast/weekend brunch/lunch. A local directed us to the Easy Egg as we weren't familiar with the area; we are very pleased that we found it (and that the wait moved quickly as well). The food was all freshly prepared, very tasty and came in good serving sizes. The California eggs benedict with chicken apple sausage, tomatoes and fresh avocado slices on top was perfectly prepared and a great combination of flavors. There was no issue with my requested substitution of the croissant roll listed on the menu for an English muffin (which I prefer). The wait staff was very attentive and kept the coffee coming until we had to tell them to stop! My only sadness was that I had not noticed that there was a blackboard in the main dining room area and that on it was listed the availability of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Had I seen it before leaving, sharing a cinnamon roll would have been a good reason to have yet another cup of coffee. The coffee and food provided excellent "people fuel" to get us back to LA after a 6:15 am start from home base earlier today. We will stop back again on our next visit to the area. read more

I love coming here, the food is always tasty and hot and service is outstanding. Make sure to check out the specials they always are cooking up something good and creative. Poor service. Poor attitude. 20 minutes to be seated in an establishment with 7 empty tables is not good. Took forever to get our food for what appeared to be a not so busy time. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more
