Worst experience in quartz hill, ever... I always grab lunch in quartz hill while my wife gets her hair done at Christopher Michaels & so I decided to check this place out.. I walk in and it's completely empty & yet the young blonde kid in the back was too busy flirting with the waitresses to notice... Nobody says nothing to me for over 10 minutes, until I get up...then the blonde kid says "have a good day" sarcastically... Will never return to this business. read more

Saturday morning my husband and I had breakfast here. The wait for breakfast was worth the wait. I had the Jake's burrito. The best breakfast burrito I had ever eaten. My husband had the Country Omelette. He loved the sage sausage with gravy. We told friends we visited with later about it. It's a hit n miss here. Some days are great, the food is good and fast. And other days the food is slow (40min wait) and tastes bland. I wish the owner would invest in a separate bottle of "Cholula" hot sauce for each table. I gave this restaurant the rating of a three because of its inconsistency. Starting with the staff the only server we will sit with is Sarah she is amazing but all the other servers are unattentive on their phones and are pretty short. Next the food today I would rate it a five star but that also is inconsistent because tomorrow you could go and it be a one-star when the food is good it is the best in town but there have been too many times possibky due to different Cooks on staff at the moment but I have received cold plates of food meals missing key ingredients excetera. But when it's good it's the best so overall I would recommend someone to this restaurant but only to sit with Sarah, but caution them that the food especially is inconsistent but when it's good it's amazing. And no matter what the biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever had. read more

I want to love this place but it's never consistent. Some days the food is super good and some days not so much. They just had a new owner take over and it's up-and-down again like the last time boo hoo. The new owner seems very sweet and open to suggestions but I called to speak with her and waited for four minutes and she still never came to the phone. Looks like they must be very very busy. The food is always delicious here! Their menu is unique with great flavors. One of our favorites is the Southwestern Eggs Benedict. It has the perfect blend of spice and original flavors. We've been coming for years and it's even better since Rodney & Brittany took ownership and we love the staff. They are always friendly and treat us like family. An oasis in the desert, quite literally. If you find yourself in Lancaster there really isn't much to do, so treat yourself to one of the more hearty and delicious meals that the city has to offer. I came here with a group of friends and this was a stop on our road trip - we decided to order family style so that we could sample nearly everything on the menu. We came there as friends, but after fighting over food, I'm surprised we stayed friends by the end of the meal. The standouts were definitely the biscuits and gravy, the country fried steak, and the chimichurri steak. Get anything with the gravy, lol. I'm a big fan of how the management runs the place - it looks like they offer different rotating specials so every time you go there's something new to try. Speaking of which, the chef recommended something new he's trying out, spicy chicken filet with gravy on a biscuit. It was phenomenal. Everything we ordered (imagine about 12 entrees split between 8 people) really hit the spot. Service was just as good as the food as well. I don't make it out this way often, but this place gives me a reason to venture out towards the high desert. Low-key glad it's so far away from where I usually frequent; otherwise, I'd probably gain 30 pounds from eating here so often. p.s. there are delicious, healthier options too! read more

I found the food to be very overpriced,overcooked and cold. I asked for Corned beef- they were out. I asked for fruit instead hashbrowns- got dried up hash browns. Our English muffins came cold and slathered in margarine when we were halfway thru our meal. If you pay 10.99 for an omelette you expect a WOW omelette. Mine was a meeeh omelette. Since trying this place out about 6 months ago, it's been our new favorite breakfast place in the area. We have tried different items: Monte Cristo Carnitas, chicken sandwich, classic pancakes and eggs, and had to have the gravy again (made daily apparently). Super good. Not too salty. Reminds me of a shiitake mushroom based gravy I had in Portand. Hint Hint. Also love their weekend specials. As long as the food remains good, prompt service, we will keep coming back. read more

My wife and I had breakfast here this morning. What a nice surprise. We learned it's under new management,about a month now. It's been a long time since we had had breakfast at this location. Moist and tasty lemon pancakes made with cream cheese, perfect eggs, smoked bacon and gravy (as in biscuits and gravy) that rivals my wife's. That's saying a lot. You haven't had gravy until you've had my wife's gravy, but she said she thought the gravy was better than hers. If you think you don't like gravy, it's because you haven't had good gravy.
