The fish was nicely battered and fried and the curry flavor was delicious. The Thai tea had a strong tea flavor that compliments the sweetness. I like tea in general so those who don't like a strong tea flavor might not like it as much. I sampled my friends pork belly pho and tri color. The pork belly was nicely crispy with the pho broth and the tri color was different from the ones I had before and thought it was okay but would get the Thai tea over that personally. There was plenty of seating options and I overheard them be very accommodating to a family with kids while eating too. My biggest critique is the restroom, it's located down a flight of stairs and its door was broken from the frame so the sign was to make sure to knock before opening. I didn't run into any encounters while in there but I can see someone not reading and just opening as well. So would recommend getting that fixed asap. read more

What came was a huge portion of #7 "Pad Kee Mao" Drunkard's Noodles (wide noodles stir fried with chili pepper, garlic, sweet basil and onions in special spicy Thai Sauce). 1 of there most popular dishes. I added Pork Belly and that's where they missed. The noodles were great, had that spicy flavor, good quantity etc, but sadly the pork belly was over cooked and dried out. Couldn't eat 75% of it, I ate a few just because I wanted some protein, but passed on the rest. Cutting them up in such small portions made them dry out. Since I ordered delivery, couldn't just have them quickly remake it. So not sure I'll try the pork belly again, but will give them another try with shrimp or a different item all together. read more

First off, it smelled strongly of urine in the restaurant. Probably should've taken that as a sign. The egg rolls were good, but the Massaman curry was the worst I've ever had (and I've had a lot). It was not sweet like it typically is, but was really sour. The waitress was sweet but not attentive so couldn't even send it back. The flavor of the pork belly fried rice was really good, but the pork belly pieces themselves were so chewy they couldn't be eaten. It was pretty worn down inside and needed a good cleaning. The red curry is great. A friend has recommended for me to try Laab or Larb and so I did. The fish sauce is definitely an acquired taste but over all I liked the laab served here. The appearance could use some work such as walls could use new paint, some cleaning near the floors on the walls, and reupholster some cusions. But otherwise the aesthetic would be nice. read more

The pork belly was crispy and the fried rice, just wow (honestly lost for word because of how great it was). I would highly recommend this or their Thai Holy Basil Fried Rice. The service was slightly slow but understandable due to how busy they were. The food definitely made up for the slow service. The bathroom is located downstairs (unisex). I've been here many times because it's near my workplace and overall think it's good but definitely not the best Thai food in the Twin Cities. Although I like the papaya salad (both Thai and Lao style), lately I've been finding it inconsistent. The appetizers like the papaya salad and egg rolls are pricey compared to other places but I like the fish curry the most and chicken pad thai (although it's not sweet, sour and salty like traditional pad thai should be)- the pad thai is more like just oily fried noodles). Another downside is that rice is not included in some dishes like the curry and laab so you'll have to order if separately if you want it. I say don't bother ordering any of the drinks like the Thai iced tea and tri-color dessert because they're usually watery. TIP- They have a mini parking lot in the back, which usually isnt full, otherwise there is street parking. There is also a gender neutral bathroom but it's downstairs and kind of creepy. read more

I wasn't the most impressed by the quality of the food. Taste was there in the drunken noodles, but I could tell it wasn't the best quality. Maybe I would come back to try their pad Thai or their other dishes. Their prices were average but I've been to cheaper restaurants with better food too. Thai tea wasn't good, watered down and you only get a small cup. Don't waste time and money on it. Their staff was extremely patient with my friend's strict diet and were super accommodating. The simplicity and modest size of this restaurant do not reflect the cuisine. Firstly, you'd better have a HUGE appetite when you arrive. The Pho portions are enormous and while the textures dance on your pallet, the bouquet of flavor in the broth complements with a robust and oily texture. Even though the place was packed my party of three didn't wait more than a minute. As soon as group left their table it was immediately cleaned and placed. I was very impressed with the efficiency and quality of the staff overall. They were all constantly running around and still stopped by our table frequently enough.
