This place has the best donuts in town! I love going here and if you don't feel like a donut they have sandwiches and fresh juices.

I've walked in there several times and honestly, that place never appears very clean to me. So I pass on eating their donuts. Now I see their health department scores posted here and some of them are very very low. I'll pass. read more

All the Donut shops in Simi are the same, all the coffee at the shops is Costco Kirkland. They only difference in donut places are the hours and freshness of the donuts. Eastside rarely is open during their posted times. Their freshness is no better than anyone else. read more

The donuts are really good.... when you can actually get the ones you want. Apple Fritters are my addiction of choice but they are apparently the last ones made for the day so they are rarely available when I stop by before 5am. And that's what happened today. So I went with my fallback dough ring; the chocolate dipped glazed cake. What did the donut wrangler give me... a chocolate dipped cake... no glaze! He did show me the donut in the bag and it looked like a glazed. Imagine my disappointment when I got home. Not only did I not get the donut I wanted, I didn't even get the donut I settled for.... just some 3rd rate substitute. Don't get me wrong... it was good, it's a freaking donut after all. Just not the one I wanted. I shouldn't have to watch the donut slinger like a hawk. How come I know the menu better than the dude who works there? Based on the reviews I must be the only person who never gets what they want at this place. I guess when you're the only donut shop for miles, you don't have to try hard. I need to find a better donut shop that's not 10 miles away. read more

The only donut shop in Simi that always has croissants during the week. Usually all the other shops around have no croissants after 9am.

Fresh and fluffy doughnuts and not overly sweet. Nice variety and friendly customer service. Bought a dozen doughnuts and doughnut holes for under $15.00. It's a blessing to have such an amazing donut shop in Simi Valley! This is my go-to! Yes, I do happen to live quite a distance away from the place but man-oh-man, is it worth it! I have been eating donuts for several decades, so that would make me a somewhat of an expert, right? One thing that I don't like about donuts is when they make them too dense that after eating half, you don't even feel like finishing it anymore. My first sampling of Eastside's donut was at a friend's house. My donut with chocolate glaze was really good! I asked where she got these from, and she said: oh, just down the street by 7-11. So, the next day I went to Eastside Donuts to buy a dozen assorted to share with people at work. The box was empty within minutes! So the next visit, I got two dozen! Those were gone in no time as well... Just by writing this review, I'm thinking of having another chocolate glaze donut! I think that I will pick up another two dozen assorted for the office again tomorrow. To me, I think this place has the best donuts in Simi Valley. The coffee is pretty good too! read more

I went here for the first time with my family this morning. We were very disappointed by the lack of selection they had. Within a large case, there were only 2 trays available. The selection was sparse and very underwhelming. We ended up leaving with a maple bar. And I will say that the doughnut was good. It was slightly warm and quite soft. I'm not convinced I will be back. read more

This place is disgusting there was ants all over the trays and on the donuts!!! Please don't eat here they never even have a good selection past 11 am and the donuts are always stale. They need to clean there donut trades from all the ants I won't ever come back here. And stop raising prices. read more

So even though it was a bit out of the way, I went and got a dozen. They were the worst donuts I have ever had. They were not soft at all and had no flavor.
