Eastern Pharmacy is the best. They have been more than patient with me answering my questions and most importantly, they are kind. Forget the local CVS. This place is the best. I don't fill anything too crazy and have average needs as a pharmacy patient, but even if I had more needs for care and even for delivery of meds, I wouldn't hesitate giving Eastern a call. I just posted this to my Facebook account: My pharmacist is Evan Dostert, owner of Eastern Pharmacy in Lynn. On Sunday, I went to urgent care for this terrible lingering cough. The doctor prescribed azithromycin. It was outside of the pharmacy's business hours, but I decided to send the prescription there and get it the next day rather than go somewhere else. I stepped out into the parking lot and my phone rang. It was Evan. He had dropped in to work to deal with some odds and ends and saw that I'd been given an antibiotic. He wanted to know if I needed it immediately. I was fine waiting until Monday and the doctor had agreed. So on Monday, my medicine was delivered (as always) free of charge (as always). Evan is a kind, concerned health care provider, not a store manager pinned down by quotas. He cares for his patients, and even just now took my call right away because I had some questions for him. Eastern Pharmacy is everything a pharmacy should be. And the complete opposite of pharmacy conglomerate CVS, in a good way. The service here is personal, they care about you and your medications and are upfront and honest throughout the entire process. They may not have fancy apps but I love knowing that when I call I get a real person on the phone and not a machine. read more

Recently transferred my prescriptions from a chain pharmacy because I was looking for some better personalized service. So glad I did, it was such a pleasant experience with fast , friendly service. nice place but the tall pharmacist guy is very rude, doesn't seem to want to help everyone or know how to appropriately speak with most of the spanish ladies that go in, main reason why my mother wont be going back and alot of her friends left, and it sucks because they were so conveniently located. just remember costumer service is important and if you have none your business is going to suffer. read more

I have Tourette's syndrome. I was prescribed a new medicine to help control my tics, which have become quite severe and disruptive. I missed the delivery person, so I called the pharmacy to confirm that it would come the next day. Evan (the owner) answered, even though he wasn't in the pharmacy. I mentioned that my tics were bad and that I was really looking forward to starting the new medicine. When he heard this, he said he would deliver the medicine himself that same day. He actually went back to the pharmacy, got the pills, and met me outside my building to give them to me. I had only recently switched to Eastern at the recommendation of a friend, because I have no car and the delivery service is a godsend. But for the owner of the pharmacy to go out of his way--during a global pandemic--to deliver a medicine that could have waited until the next day is above and beyond. I'll be moving my prescriptions to a better pharmacy. This has been a drawn out experience with very poor communication. After spending over a week trying to get a prescription taken care of, with different people telling me different things, with them faxing the wrong number and being rude about it, not following up with me when they stated they would....I was left without my vital prescription. The person I dealt with who was rude was also condescending and seemed vindictive. I do NOT recommend. Called Walgreens and they were great. read more

Sooo where do I start.. I was so greatful for the help I thought this pharmacy offered but instead was treated like trash and thrown away when they accidently filled my controlled substance 2 weeks early and the receptionist or pharmacy tech admitted to it and apologized said it was set to auto fill and wouldn't happen again because not only did this pharmacy make me look bad to my dr they also made me look like I was med seeking when I never asked for these specific meds to be delivered and honsestly thought they were just helping me have all my meds set on one date.. I recently tried to get an early override for the first time this year for a paid training out of state for 2 and a half weeks so this pharmacy didn't have my meds so had them transferred to cvs.. now cvs is going off my last fill date when he shorted me one box of zubsolv and 30mg of clonazapam for a month denied it and said if I didn't go with his concocted story he would tell my dr I was med seeking and he was gonna lie to protect his employees and to never contact his store again ... not only did they get me fired from my job they lied and extorted and slandered my name with other pharmacies and my dr just by filling my med 2 weeks too early now this month I can't even get my meds on time and I was shorted last month so I have to stretch my meds as much as I can until cvs will fill mine.. and I even tried getting my dr to understand this and since I'm not another medical professional he didn't want to listen to me or even consider that this pharmacist did something illegal and blamed me the patient over getting only 2 out of 3 boxes of zubsolv and 90 out of 120 mg of clonazapam and since I switched the pharmacy because of eastern pharmacies actions it made me look even worse and even had to call local and federal law enforcement agencies so they can listen to the recorded calls because I'm being treated like bottom of the barrel trash when this pharmacy could've killed me if I didn't know how to manage my medication correctly to not become sick because of them.. I just couldn't believe a pharmacist would intentionally lie about a patient to cover his ass and his employees that made the mistake and made me look like I was the one that was reluctant to accept a no answer for an early fill when he didn't even fill my whole prescription!!!!! I didn't bother to tell my dr because he didn't want to hear it either and I just can't believe how this medical system got this way and I take this med for seizures and other disabilities and could've killed me with what they did so instead of take responsibility they lied about what they gave to me and lied about the 2 boxes they sent 2 weeks early when I didn't even ask.. so when I really needed my meds I couldn't get them and was told he would make up this elaborate story that I begged for them and wouldn't accept the word no lmao no pharmacy in the world would fill your meds if you were begging that early and literally made me feel unsafe and unheard and made me look bad to the other pharmacies and my dr on top of it and I'm not gonna stop until this pharmacy is gone for good and shut down because I'm not the only patient that got ripped off and ripped my insurance off along with it and possibly got me red flagged and black listed because they won't admit to the mistake they made one time and since they said it over the phone hopefully it's recorded and they can hear the pharmacy tech apologizing for doing what she did and was very honest.. then the owner the actual pharmacist actually was the one who made up the lie and said he'd tell my dr that and stick to his story because he was protecting himself and his employees to ruin my name and reputation and also got me fired from my job so if anyone reads this please don't go here they will mess with your meds and they will steal them and fill them early without your permission and blackmail you over it and not give you the full amount they owe you everytime they don't have enough meds and I wonder where all this medication they owe ppl that are controlled substances are going.... Not only do I feel like my life and reputation with my dr is ruined but I also lost my job and a great opportunity to better my career just because I needed an out of state early fill and eastern couldn't even come up with the meds they owed me so I switched to cvs on Boston st and when I did that it made me look even worse because I switched to a pharmacy that I knew would have the meds on time before my trip and the other pharmacy are only going off of the previous eastern pharmacy notes and refused to fill my meds with drs permission because of what eastern pharmacy did to me.. I'm lucky I'm not in the hospital.. almost gave me wrong persons meds on delivery too even opened the package and everything thinking they were mine and had to give them back to delivery driver so yea very bad business read more
