Very unreliable pharmacy. Had a prescription called in weeks ago and never got the text message of it being ready for pick up. They proceeded to remove my prescription and never informed me. I had to call the pharmacy directly and was told it would be ready for pick up within a couple days. I received a text later on about my prescription being ready by 12 pm on Saturday. I went around 2 pm to pick up and I was told it would take an additional 20 min to refill. Huge waste of time. read more

I'm updating this review because they hung up on me 3 times yesterday. I waited as it rang and rang for minutes on end and then finally- someone picked up and then proceeded to just hang up! 3 times this happened! Luckily, I was calling to get my prescription transferred to another pharmacy so I never have to go there again. I called the other pharmacy and they handled it. I rarely feel the need to review a drugstore, notably one that's a chain. However, I visit this location often, and given the low star rating here, I felt compelled to give my input. ;) I shop at this specific location due to the fact it's opened 24hrs. You can never predict when an emergency will arise! For a majority of time, nearly 90 percent average, I've had nothing but great interactions. With most visits, it may not be immediate as I'm entering, but someone along the way will manage to greet me, including asking if I need any assistance. I have encountered a few instances where I observed one of the employees following me like I was a criminal. Just 'cause my indecisiveness has me hovering over a product doesn't mean I'm plotting on running out the door with it.. Anyways, this one woman I frequently come across at the register has always treated me with great kindness and patience, particularly during times I decide to whip out my coupons. She and a few others have never made it feel awkward or embarrassing to shop with coupons. And yes, other CVS locations will give you that disdainful grimace! You're applauded for savings here. :) I find the store organized to some extent. There are items I always find out of stock, specifically face/skincare and body products and occasional household items. I'm not sure if they do this on purpose, but if something is advertised on sale in the catalog, shouldn't they have it on the shelf? What's the point if I can't even purchase it? I have yet to use the pharmacy as I have a preferred one closer to work, so I definitely can't comment on that department. I absolutely loathe the parking lot entrance. Who in their right mind created that stupid steep hump?!? It always scratches my car! I can hear it scraping each time, and it's unavoidable! How ridiculous! Someone, Please fix this!!! read more

This pharmacy specifically is horrible to deal with. They dont communicate with their patients about refills, they don't make an effort to get refills from doctor's offices, and they don't take responsibility for any of their actions. This place is always dirty. The shelves and the lack of space give you claustrophobia.....but a 24 hour CVS is essential in Lynn. No matter what time I am coming by, I can stop in and grab some protein bars or a Monster Energy Drink. Some of the employees are a bit rough around the edges, but so are the customers that come in and give them a hard time. It may be more grungy than the ones in Peabody or Danvers, but I feel at home here. read more

The WORST CVS pharmacy I've been to. The pharmacy manager either needs to be replaced or trained on how to manage staff and the workload better. My doctor sent a prescription - an hour later, it wasn't ready. They hadn't even looked at it. Then I had to wait 20 minutes for them to enter it into the system, only to be told they didn't have it in stock. The manager gave nothing but excuses. No one answers the phone, checks voice messages or the fax. This wasn't the first time I had a problem filling a prescription here, but it was the last. read more

Terrible pharmacy, I would never recommend it. If they have a problem with your prescription, they don't bother to call you, so when you go to pick it up there is a problem. Now you waited in the long line to pick up the prescription you are waiting for and then the girl tells you to go to the consult window. A complete joke of a pharmacy. Also, they never answer the phone, so if you get the automated line and it asks if you are a doctor say yes, because they will not answer if you don't lol. read more

They accept all coupons!! If your a couponer come here!! The manager and crew is great! They never hassle you about coupons they embrace it. I visit this store twice per week with tons of coupons and take about half an hour to check out. I have never had a problem they actually ask me what product i will be looking for the following week so they can order up. I seem to have problems with the other 2 cvs stores in Lynn with coupons, but not the one on Boston st. Great experience every time. 5 stars! read more

A horrible experience every time i need their services. The woman with green hair who is working the over night shift,is the rudest person ever. A few customers and myself had to wait 15 minutes for her to come to the register.she watched us standing in line for money gram services and once we were done THEN she informed us that their particular store doesn't allow money gram services until 8 am. If I could give this awful place ZERO stars I would. This pharmacy is the absolute WORST pharmacy ever. Prescriptions are NEVER EVER ready when they say they will be..I literally requested a prescription and it wasn't ready for THREE days..it was only when I went in physically that they told me "20 minutes" and filled it. I once wanted to transfer a prescription to this location. A very simple task that took 3 calls (when they actually picked up) and me again, physically going into the store to have it ready. How is this place still running? I will be transferring. With incompetence like this, I no longer trust these people with my medication. read more

This 1 star goes to the horrible service the Pharmacy provides. It doesn't matter what time of the day or day of the week you call..... the calls are rarely answered and when they are you're just put on hold for an excessive amount of time before you even get to talk to someone. When it was brought up to staff, the response received was.... well everyone is busy with a patient! As I stood there I personally heard the cue stating there was a Pharmacy call. I also personally witness every single employee continue to do what they were doing and ignored the call. The prompt went on to say this about 10 times and now had 2 calls waiting before a "pharmacist" picked up the call because he was now standing next to a phone. This is a constant problem in this CVS. Either they need more staff or retrain the ones they have now, but something needs to be done. read more

Pulled my prescriptions today and transferred them to a local Walgreens. This pharmacy is among the worst that I've ever experienced anywhere. The constant errors, excuses, apathy, and attempts to scapegoat others for their mistakes were too much to deal with. You can do better than these guys. read more

i've always preferred CVS over other pharmacies, i guess i like the extra bucks and stuff like that.. but i HAD to yelp about this branch because they are some RUDE ass people there. one time, i was dropping off a script maybe 20 minutes before the pharmacy closed. i didn't need it until later, just wanted to drop it off. i handed her the script and also had an insurance question. what did she say? "ugh, i don't even have time for this.. i shouldn't even be working, i put in 6 hours of overtime this week, blah blah blah.." so she decided simply not to address my question! did she really have to complain to a customer about working? sooo unprofessional. i was really annoyed. another time (couple days ago), i was trying to return something. i had a receipt, but it was over a year old. i figured that maybe they could give me store credit at least. the guy at the register called over this girl to authorize the return, she looked at the receipt, and with the most obnoxious attitude, she said, "this is over a YEAR old, i can't DO this." but really, imagine the most rude attitude in her voice. well, jeez- she could have just said, "sorry, the receipt is too old"- the attitude was SO unnecessary, it wasn't a big deal, why the attitude?? read more

Most amazing experience I have ever received. Eimah the pharmacy tech assistant went the extra step to put another additional discount code through for me because she wanted to bring my $84 prescriptions down a little more if possible since I'm still waiting on my new insurance. It ended up being very successful & she saved me $20ish bringing my prescription down to $59, she is very efficient & strives to make her customers happy. Much appreciated. This was a horrible experience. I went into scan a photo. Upon entering the facility the photo scanner did not work after several attempts I had to ask the girl at the front register what the problem was. She had no explanation. The manager ? Eventually came over and told my mom and me that th he picture could not be copied because the scanner has been down for a while #fixit at this point the picture was of my dad who has just passed three days ago and this is the second CVS I have been to. I'm very disappointed at the lack of motivation in the ad or place today it seems like no matter where I go people never do more than they have to . #not my jobdiscription. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR MEDS!!!! I had such a horrible experience filling a script at this cvs. In all my years I have never experienced such horrible treatment. That blond pharmacist (Kathrine??)) is one of the most judgmental laziest employee that I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. Cuz of her idiotic judgmental crap she wasted the doctor's time, a sick dying veteran's time, and my time for guess what......got the thing filled once everyone else was on the same page that she's just too stupid to be working with medications if she's going to pretend to be a doctor and tell me that something can't be filled because we don't know how to follow the directions on the bottle and should have plenty left. Excuse me!!!! When someone is freaking SICK and in PAIN they go to the doctor, the doctor decides!!!!! Last I checked a pharmacist isn't a doctor! Otherwise you would know the pain increase is why the medication was increased and there's an emergency surgery scheduled next month!
