Originally from Los Angeles, then New York and now here in MA I can honestly say it's the worst convenience store I've been in. These type of stores are a dime a dozen but this place has a negative vibe. The first time I went in, the cashier was having a conversation with someone in a foreign language and acted annoyed that he had to help me. I stood there for a couple of miniutes until he was ready to help me. OK everyone has an off day but today I went in with my kid and we bought a popsicle. The cashier had no idea how much it was and there were no prices marked. Initially he was charging 50 cents. Then he asked someone. A female employee said it's $1.79. I said "ok I'll buy it". A minute later she said "I meant $1.99". That's just bad business. To make up or change prices as you go along. I paid the $1.99 (had my kid with me) and skipped buying anything else. I wont be back. Dees conveneince and Norms Variety are right up the street and prices are always consistent and the people who are running the show at Dee's and Norm's are top notch.

They even had these soda candies that I haven't seen since I was a child haha, thought that was cool. The store doesn't list the prices until you go to check out (or not that I saw). Prices are a bit steep, similar to CVS prices, compared to Walmart's cheaper pricing for items.

This wasn't a big deal for me since 5 or 10 cents wasn't worth asking for. But believe me, when you come frequently, that adds up! On a recent visit, the employee at the register had the audacity to attack my beau for not giving him the extra 5 cents he owed to complete the transaction. My beau calmly stated that he's never received back change for any past transactions so why get defensive over 5 cents. We even offered to come back and give him his damn change since he was so upset over it. And yes, the employee still refused to sell to us without that 5 cents. Seriously, if you feel the need to embarrass a customer over 5 cents then you are not worthy of my business. And at the end the conversation the employee actually stated to my beau "I don't need you as a customer." Thanks for your acknowledgement! We will never return nor support your business. Please properly train your employees on how to use a register!
