I went into the Lynn, western ave location to pick up a prescription at 150, I find a metal grate covering the window. a sign on the grate tells you that you can take prescription's to revere, this led me to believe they are closed for the day. I'm standing in shock not believing what I'm reading a woman sees me and informs me they close everyday for lunch and reopen at 200. I almost left without getting a important prescription for my sick mother. they put a sign telling you to go to revere, but not one that reads at lunch be back at two. second time their in a week neither time prescription ready. I already hated the store for their outragous prices and that I have see them on every corner in every city, now bad customer service. hope to never go into a Walgreens again read more

Pharmacy has gotten better customer service wise, but the wait times can still be lengthy. As for the regular store, everyone is really nice and the story is usually clean and stocked well. Although I must say the freezers have been out of order for well over a month now which is really sad because I like to get my ice cream here sometimes. Average prices here aren't too bad, but most household goods or toiletries for a few dollars more than they would cost at Walmart. But there are so many things here in the Walgreens brand that are priced really well, and with my experience their products are good. They have their own parking lot read more

This store has terrible staff working Saturday nights I would completely avoid this Walgreens it took 35 minutes to get to the register once in Lynn with once I was in line . i Couldn't even buy the cologne I wanted because they didn't have any staff to open the case read more

I've been a customer at this Walgreens for the past 6 years & I have to say that for the most part these folks are pretty great. I find them way less expensive than CVS on a lot of their 'name brands' & they treat me really well at the pharmacy, always refilling stuff before I even ask for it & calling me with concerns or drug interaction stuff. And once in a while, if I don't have enough to pay for my script they'll let me come back in & pay later but will give me my script that day, which I think is really nice. All in all I'd have to say I'm a fan of this Walgreens. Just wish they had a drive thru or were open 24 hrs!! read more

Kim the pharmacy tech went above and beyond to be helpful to my elderly husband on such a hot and humid day. She went outside and checked to see if he left important meds in cart, where as someone at front of store said that they already did. She called my husband within ten minutes to say she found. She didn't have to do that and it was a real miserable day to go outside but she went extra "mile" to do it. This is a complaint regarding store # 2325, 290 Broadway in Lynn, MA and pharmacy operations there. I'm a soon to be a 60-year-old disabled man who's currently taking care of a senior parent, my Mother who has both dementia and a form of leukaemia. Both my Mother and I have our prescriptions at this Walgreens, with me receiving my through mail order because of my previous dissatisfaction with the in-store process. Up until now I've been unable to switch my Mother over to the mail-order option and have had to rely on in- person pickup for her prescriptions. From the beginning, I was explicit in please requesting that all my Mother's prescriptions have the auto- refill option, that I was to be notified when they were ready for pick-up, and contacted with any and all questions or concerns. I strive to be clear and avoid confusion in my communication, but there's always the unexpected. Back in February 2018, my Mother required a refill for the specific medication that she requires for treatment for her dementia. At the time of pick-up, I reiterated my desire for all my Mother's prescriptions to be auto-refilled and was assured they would be. I also followed up with a phone call asking again for everything to be auto-refilled and was given the same assurances that my request would be honoured. On Friday, 8/31/18 after being notified of a refill being ready to pick up, I went and got it thinking that it was my Mother's essential dementia medication. When I got home, I saw that it, in fact, was an entirely other prescription when I called the pharmacy they told me that the dementia was ready to be refilled and had been ready to refill. There was no explanation why it hadn't been auto-refilled as previously requested or even why they didn't tell me of it's it's availability when I was standing right there in front of them. On Sunday, 9/2/18 I went to pick up this dementia medication I asked why my previous requests for having it auto-refilled were ignored and why they couldn't have filled it on 8/31/18 when I was right there? The pharmacy tech was very apologetic, though she had no hand in any of this, the head pharmacist on duty never engaged with me, never even made eye contact, and simply asked the tech if the screen had been adjusted for auto-refills in the future. I was the only customer at the pharmacy at this time and would have welcomed the opportunity to engage with the pharmacist, but he couldn't have cared less. On Tuesday, 9/4/18 I contacted Walgreen's customer service at 1-800-925-4733, incident # 1384662- 02325 and I was assured that I'd be contacted by the area pharmacy manager named, Peter. Since then I've called back to Walgreens on 9/7 and /17, and to date, I've heard back from no one. On the three calls, I've made the people I spoke with took notes and couldn't believe how bad my experience was and how it made no sense. But, still, no follow up contact from Walgreens corporate with today's date being 9/19/18. All in all, this is the worst pharmacy experience that I've had with some epically bad and apathetic customer service. My Mother relies on me to take of things like her prescriptions on her behalf and if I wasn't doing this for I have no doubt that she'd be still waiting for this important drug. I wish I got this mans name. Like 5'8" bald blue eyes works at the register. He is not good at his job whatsoever. I work as a manager for a different retail and would put him through hard retraining or let him go to find a job that is for him. I went in the first time and asked to split my purchase into two transactions. I explained that their was a promotion (spend $20 get 5000 points). He said he didn't understand and that sounded stupid. I informed him it wasn't stupid and regardless I wanted 2 transactions (no one was in line behind me). He rolled his eyes and said okay. At the end he said he still thought it was stupid and a waste but if it's what I wanted then that's fine. Ugh. Then I go in and there's a 3/$8 on variety frozen foods. I grab 3. They ring in as full price ($4.29-4.79 a piece). I tell him the sale. He said no. I said yes it's in the flyer he said you have to grab 3 of the same thing. No you don't. So he goes outside and grabs the manager who comes in doesn't come over and tells him from the photo area she's now at that I can't do it. So he came over and said I have to buy 3 of 1 item. A lone formed So I said fine take one out but they're still 2.99 a piece not 4.79 he rolled his eyes and fixed it and then said he would've done the sale if he was allowed? Disgusted!!! Did a photo back up from phone at the kiosk to a cd, called later and made sure it wouldn't get discarded because I couldn't make it and was told "no, it will be here, no worries", went to pick up and nothing was there, was told that "oh sorry, the cd machine has been broken for awhile" What? Are you Serious??? Do you know how many associates walked by my husband and I while transferring the photos that never told us? How about putting a sign on the machine? or making it so the order could never go through? Once I made the disk, I deleted the photos as I have done in the past when doing this so needless to say I have no photos of my 7 year olds past christmas (probably her last year of believing) or my deceased puppy. And for Walgreens negligence, I get an "I'm truly sorry but I can offer you 10,000 points to make it up" . For real???? You're going to give me $10??? I will never step foot in your store again!!
