They failed to notify us that a medication needed to be refrigerated, so I had to buy another refill.

Feels a little weird to be reviewing a CVS on Yelp, but I'll accept anything is possible in this…read moreday and age. My only complaint here is that the line to pick up prescriptions can get pretty long at times. Maybe they could add on another pharmacist at "peak times", whatever those may be? Seeing as though this location is mainly frequented by U of M students, I would imagine they could estimate demand based on the academic calendar, at least. Nonetheless, everyone is always really nice here, notably helpful, and I've had great experiences at Minute Clinic. It's in a fairly crappy space on State Street near where the "unsavorable" Ann Arbor residents hang out but they manage to keep it nice and organized and clean. For juxtaposition, take a look into the Chipotle which manages to look like it should be condemned by the health agency most of the time. Also, this CVS has great deals from time to time, where it's actually cheaper for me to get snacks sometimes here than the grocery store. Haribo is almost always 2/$4. I like that it has self checkout as well which puts it a point above Walgreens. And discount candy after the holidays.

First their on-line app is horrible. Second, just try getting a person on the phone. Third, they…read moredo not follow through, such as for prior authorizations. Fourth, they do not answer questions in a sensible way, totally worthless answers. Fifth - bad service overall. Can't think of a positive thing to say.

I've been here few times and the last visit took me to their Pharmacy... it was after 7 pm, so I…read moredidn't expect it to be busy, but boy was I wrong. There were few customers ahead of me, but the issue was only two people behind the counter... one was busy handling the drive through and the other busy consulting with the customers... the one handling the consulting seems like he was ready to throw his hands up.... could feel the stress coming from him and I was at least 20 feet away! I waited for my turn and gave them what I needed (I think the wait time was around 10 minutes) ... also told them I needed to transfer my medicine from one pharmacy to CVS... since the other pharmacy was closed, advised them to call the next day (we'll see if they did when I pick up my medicine). The place looks little disorganized and short staffed... but I guess that's what you get when dealing with big chains like CVS.... As I left, felt sorry for the workers at the pharmacy... looks like I'll be coming back often to get my drugs!

The young woman with long dark hair working the closing shift was extremely rude and…read moreunprofessional. She was not wearing a name tag or anything identifying her as an employee. I passed by her several times while looking for an item, and she never offered any assistance. She also refused to ring customers up at the register and required everyone to use self-checkout. When my coupon did not apply, she reluctantly helped me, rolled her eyes, and ignored me while fixing the issue. After I paid, I returned a key she had left in the machine, and she did not acknowledge me at all. While I was gathering my bags to leave, she rudely & aggressively stated, "We closed several minutes ago. You need to leave NOW!" I remained patient and respectful throughout the entire interaction. I began checking out at least ten minutes before closing. I understand she wanted to leave, and so did I, but if she had assisted customers and focused on her job, she likely would have been finished on time. Her behavior was completely unacceptable and does not reflect well on your company

This review is specifically for the employee Robin, who I've encountered a few times working in the…read morepharmacy department. I hope she feels valued and enjoys her work, because CVS is lucky to have such an authentic, friendly, sincere person representing their brand. She works with grace under pressure -- not easy with the long pharmacy lines at this busy location. Each person is treated with dignity and she addresses their needs with individual attention and concern. She knows the "regulars" by name and very naturally creates a familiar connection with customers. Going to the pharmacy is usually a mundane task, but can sometimes cause a lot of grief, confusion, and money. Robin has helped me several times in the past when my insurance coverage was dropped and later retroactively reinstated. She walked me through what I needed for the reimbursement process, helped me identify the scripts that were paid out-of-pocket, and was overall compassionate and understanding. She was far more helpful than the insurance company, the doctors office, or the pharmacists and technicians behind the counter. Thank you Robin! Also, I hope corporate sees this...she deserves recognition and a substantial raise because there's no way she's being paid what she's worth.* *I mean, who is? But still...

The best part of this CVS is it's close proximity to the 23 exit at Plymouth road…read more If I ever forget to get some vitamins, cold or flu medicine or beauty or basic toiletries, this is where I tend to go. This location has a sizable parking lot and is definitely on the right side of Plymouth to get to the outskirts of the AA area. CVS are all essentially the same. They make carry more or less the same brands, but not always the same flavors, like theraflu and other things too. Prices in general at all CVS' are a bit higher than at a big box store, it's for the convenience after all, right?

Feels somewhat silly to write a review for a place going out of business but I do have to chime in…read moreand say I'm going to miss Rite Aid. During the initial Covid vaccine roll out they reliably had appointments and I was able to get all my family in to one location or another, which was a relief since I worked about all of them more than me! My aunt came to this particular location and my mom and I came for moral support (and literal physical support cos the lady faints from needles) and the folks in the pharmacy were really lovely and accommodating (she didn't quite faint this time but was close, and they did a great job grabbing a cold bottle from the coolers to hold against her neck to keep her up). Everything in this store is currently 40-50% off so I did one more walk through to see what was left and/or purchase some things on a discount. I got some cleaning supplies, deeply discounted Duracell batteries, a little car vacuum, and somebody care stuff for 50% off. If you're seeing this any time around August 16th, 2024 I highly recommend stopping in here or your nearest location to stock up before they're all gone.

She told me none of the 3 (2 pain meds and 1 muscle relaxant) were for what I was told by the prescribing doctor they are used for. I now realize that the "muscle relaxant" can also be used for issues of constipation, but she simply told me the medical terms for the medications without applying the context I gave her and disregarding my questions very flippantly. The person who I was picking up the prescription for has been taking pain meds for a while and I did not want to give anymore medications than needed to protect his liver. Anyway, I asked the other pharmacist (kind older woman) the same question but the evil one butted in that she "already told me" in an aggressive manner. The kind one said I could call the pharmacy with questions about the medications but I was treated with such hostility that I am too uncomfortable to do so. -unimportant, but still wanted to share. She told me to wait 15-20 min and I came back around 12 minutes just to see if things finished early and asked "is it still some-more time? Okay." And she remarks "it hasn't been 15-20 min like I said right? Yeah its going to take that full time." In a rude tone. This is all poor etiquette when dealing with people clearly in sensitive situations to need to visit a pharmacy.

LISTEN. I feel really silly writing another Walgreens update but I wanted to give a shout out to…read moretheir curbside pick up for saving my holiday cards! I was merrily writing out my yearly correspondence, addressing them, stickering them (I get fancy!) and stamping them when I realized I was about 16 stamps short. DANGIT. I scavenged what I could, but I was still coming up short. The USPS is a hot mess right now so I neither wanted to order online (I knew they wouldn't arrive until after Christmas) nor go there in person to purchase more (my local branch is basically a mess in the best of times in December let alone during the plague). I knew I was probably going to have to run into a Kroger, UPS store, or the like to get them. I didn't want to run all around town so I looked at the USPS website to see what outlets sold stamps and saw this Walgreens on the list. "Could it be? Could they have them for curbside?" I wondered. So I opened the app and sure enough, I found them available. I ordered 3 books and a goofy Christmas card for my husband's gift (it's a pop up and it plays music!) and my order was ready in 30 minutes. Pick up was a little slower than anticipated but their parking lot was very crowded so I expected it. The woman who dropped it off at my car very kindly apologized for the delay, but it truly wasn't a problem. I was cozy and safe in my car listening to holiday tunes. Thanks for saving my abundantly sending holiday card ass, Walgreens!
