Wasted two hours at this dump after booking on Expedia. You have to call a shuttle to get to the office which is about 15 minutes away from the airport. When we arrived, there were many upset customers who had been waiting long periods of time to get a car. We then found out that this place was requiring us to purchase their insurance because we didn't bring our declaration page from our insurance on our trip. WHO TRAVELS WITH THIS?!?! It's a total scam to make an extra few bucks on every rental. We ended up catching a shuttle back to the airport and renting from Thrifty...SO EASY and maybe $10 more. Don't waste your time with this company. read more

Excellent customer service!! I was put off by the location at first because it's not at the airport, but they have an easy to work shuttle that brought us to and from where we needed to go. read more

Worst rental place in history. Who rents a car past closing? Obviously, you give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll pick you up, or an email, call, something. Are they even real? Don't waste your time. They won't even refund you for their mistake which leads me to believe they're either not real or a scheme. read more

This was easily one of the worst car rental experiences of my life. The staff treats you with contempt and it seems to be part of their business model to be impolite and inefficient. The shuttle only comes every half hour and the lot is 20 minutes from the airport, so add at least an hour and a half to your travel plans because we waited 45 minutes to be helped and get our car. We waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged when trying to return the car and then just gave up and left the key. Zero stars if I could! read more

Extremely extremely extremely slow. Workers lie about the wait time even when you ask for an honest estimate. Check in takes forever I have no idea why considering I checked in online already. Do not come here. read more

15 minutes from airport. Cars weren't available. People waiting 1.5 hours for a car. Took an Uber.

this place is nowhere near the airport. it takes awhile to get picked up. slow as all get out. just no. pay the extra $5 for something at the airport and don't waste your vacation waiting for these people to get a move on. no one is in a hurry. 45 minutes for two. TWO people to get a car ahead of me. They want your flight info co formation want to see your proof of insurance and then don't even really look at it. Just don't. Seriously. Don't. read more

I reserved and paid for a car 7 months in advance. When I landed in Austin I called for the shuttle and the woman who answered said "we don't have a car for you". I asked what happened and she said "we don't have a car for you". I said well, I reserved/paid what do you mean, and she said "we don't have a car for you". I was like well get me one, idk, and she said "we don't have a car for you". I asked for a manager or someone that could explain to me what happened and she said "we don't have a car for you". I said "what am I supposed to do, I'm stranded at the airport" and she said "we don't have a car for you". Mind you, there was no language barrier here, I was like "are you okay ma'am? If you're being held at gunpoint say pineapples and I'll send the police" And she said "we don't have a car for you". Again I was just kind of like..."what? What should I do?" And she said we "don't have a car for you" and so I hung up. I sure hope she's okay. Was she having a stroke? Maybe she's just really dumb and works for a terrible company. ??? read more

Wow... where do I start? My husband and I booked a car from here through Priceline. We booked it to for my husband to drive to Louisiana to visit family. The address was Austin airport. Makes sense, I've rented cars there before when my car was in the shop. Well, we arrived and parked our car in short term parking. We walked in the area with all of the car rental kiosks and could not find easirent. I walked up to the front desk of the hertz counter and asked if they knew where easirent was located. They told me that we had to go to the ground floor. Took the elevator to the ground floor. Still didn't know where to go. No signage anywhere. I asked a security guard where easirent was. He told us a vague area near the road and said that we needed to call a phone number for a shuttle to come and pick us up. The only phone number we had was a foreign number so, my husband googled easirent and found the number. He called and was put on hold. At that moment a shuttle drove up that said easirent on the side. We shuffled into a large old van with 5 other people. The driver was rushing us in telling us that "he didn't have all day". We get in and drive off. Suddenly, we're on the freeway and driving to a location on Industrial blvd. 6 miles away from the airport! I told everyone in the van that we may or may not be being kidnapped right now. Don't go to a second location. I'm warning you now. Once we arrived, there were at least 20 other people waiting on cars. Another woman waiting directed me to a clipboard to sign in and then pointed to a sign on the wall with a QR code to sign in. After that, we waited for 2 hours. I walked over to check the list. I asked a person at the front counter if the highlighted names had been called. They said yes and I pointed out that they didn't call my husbands name. They said they did... whatever. I wasn't going to make that a whole thing. I asked when they would call us again. They said that we were next. After 30 more minutes we get to the desk. After paying $320 on Priceline we ended up paying $300 more for with a $500 deposit. After noticing that everyone else had rented their car through a third party travel site that would not allow any refunds I realized that easirent and the third party website have now made you a prisoner to whatever fees can be tacked on along with the crazy wait time. We're finally told that it will be a 15-20 minute wait for a car. Fine. The place is crazy understaffed. Another hour goes by. Finally, a car. It's fine. Not super clean but by this point you either want to cry or rip your hair out so we go. My husband drives me back to the airport so I can retrieve my car. I leave the parking lot having to pay $20 for having parked there for 4 hours. Never go to a second location. read more

They are efficient at taking the $ for the rental and overpromising and underdelivering. Unless your time is not valuable, don't use this company. read more

Piece of shit - is what this rental car co. is. They don't care about customer service or sticking to what they promised. Their shuttle comes only after multiple calls and way beyond a reasonable wait time. Read the many negative reviews and before you proceed. I regret not checking their reviews first. read more

Affordable prices, car worked fine, and shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful. The bad thing about this place is that it took us 1.5 hours to get the car, and it wasn't that clean. Had to call for about 30min to get someone on the line for the shuttle, and then on hold for another 15min. read more

Booked through Priceline because it was promoted with an airport shuttle. There is no shuttle and was told by the office manager to get an Uber. I ended up renting a car at the airport instead. Easirent refused to give me my money back. This place is a joke. Never rent from them. read more

Never again! This place IS NOT at the airport. From AUS arrival terminal I had to walk 1/4-1/3 of a mile with all my belongs to where the Easirent shuttle van was located. There are no signs, I just had to keep stopping and asking people where to go. Then it is a 15-20 minute drive to their office. (PS the office is down a dirt road in a questionable area. I would not want to drop off after they close at 6pm and wait in the dark for an Uber.) There was 1 lady in the office checking me in, another gentleman picking up, someone dropping off, answering the phones and a lady walked in saying she had a job interview which the woman at the counter seemed to know nothing about. A couple ahead of me had just dropped off a car which was taken around back, given a quick vacuum & rinse and brought back up front to me. Their fleet of cars is extremely small. They try to upsell you on buying a toll road pass and additional car insurance. On the day I returned the car, my flight didn't leave until 7:30 pm, but I had to be at their office by 4:30 because I was told the last shuttle to the airport leaves at 5:00 pm and I didn't know if it would still be only 1 woman in the office. I asked if on the return shuttle we would be dropped off at departures and was told the drop off was the same location as the pick up - 1/4-1/3 mile walk in 96 degree heat through parking garages with all the car exhaust. Luckily the other 2 shuttle passengers were flying American Airlines (same as me) and the driver agreed to drop us off at departures. I was so thankful as I've recently had ankle replacement surgery and was dreading that walk in the heat with all my luggage. If you want an inexpensive rental and don't mind all this hassle, this is the place for you. From now on I will stick with the more well-known brands located at the airport and pay a little more. read more

Had a great experience. Jonel was super helpful. My renewal rate was going to be double what it was a week ago, but Jonel helped me get the same rate. Will definitely go there again in the future. The employees are professional and customer service is excellent. A really good value compared to any other car rental place. read more

So far everything had been good. Unfortunately the free shuttle rides are down, but they helped make up for it. Over all pretty good

We booked a car through Priceline with Easirent, first of all this company was listed as being located at Austin Bergstrom Airport, but was over 10 miles away in a not so nice neighborhood. Once we arrived there were several people waiting, after about a half hour we were able to speak to an employee behind the counter. He said there were no vehicles available and "having a reservation does NOT guarantee a vehicle". As cars arrive they will call your name and if you are not there the car will go to the next person on the list. We started the checkin process with the employee, he said only 150 miles per day were included even though Priceline listed unlimited, he said there is an extra charge for a spouse to drive, again Priceline listed as free. He said that was not their policy and if we have an issue we needed to request a refund from Priceline. He went on to say that no other rental agencies have any cars available- I then went online and booked a car with Enterprise Rent a Car and canceled my Easirent reservation. I will NEVER rent with Easirent again. I would give them a zero star but that option is not available. read more

please, please add a button for zero stars! this was by far the worst experience I have ever had while traveling. we only booked here because we thought we would need a full size suv. they were the only company that had on available. first: THEY ARE NOT ONSITE! the shuttle that is supposed to be on a continuous loop is not actually on a continuous loop. we waited 40 minutes to be picked up. the driver was blasting rap which he never turned down as we boarded what can only be described as a cargo van retrofitted with bench seats. After a 15 minute ride to the airport, we were deposited in the dirt, across the street, from the rental office. Rental office is a very kind description. It was packed, people had been waiting hours, wasn't a great situation obviously. Our SUV was not there, our SUV was never going to be there, and these people could give a shit less. After waiting around for over 90 minutes before we were even through the line to sign in, we decided to call an Uber and rent from a reputable business. Do not rent from this place. Do not think of renting from this place. I'm not sure what it is but it definitely is not a rental car business. read more

i flew into austin on july 12 for a weeks trip. i booked on priceline and was assigned easirent as a car company. i will never do it agian i was at the pickup point at 5:15 plane landed at 430ish and there were 4 other families there we all tried to call the office of easirent. never got an answer and stood out in the 100 plus heat waiting for cars that never arrived. prcine is making it right after we all had to scramble for other transportaion. but i would not rent from this company read more

BEWARE! The "cost saving" is not worth the hassle in the slightest. This company is not located at the airport and you will spend anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour waiting on the shuttle, possibly more, depends on if anyone decides to answer the phone number they tell you to call to request a pick up. Once you finally get to the rental location you will probably wait another two hours to be seen just to be told they don't have the car you reserved and prepaid for weeks ahead of time. But wait there is more.... To avoid potentially missing your flight you may think it's a good idea to drop your rental off much earlier considering how well pick-up went. You may think the nightmare is over... WRONG two days later you'll get a call from the corporate office saying that they have no record of you returning the car and that you have a matter of hours to return it before the authorities are contacted.... or at least that was my experience. read more
