It's not their fault that there was a hail storm, then two weekends of ACL then Formula One I arrived at 7:45 and was able to leave half an hour later with a minivan. The girl needed to go fill the tank with gas. She was really apologetic and kept me up-to-date. I also noticed that there was a Corolla with a flat to which the staff added air to, my minivan needed error as well to check in process was fairly straightforward as was the drop off return process

Drew was fantastic customer service. I rented a car just for the evening to go out of Austin. He was extremely friendly, explained how the car and the return worked. It was slightly difficult to return the car, all of the return slots were full and I wasn't sure about if the car was off of the road when I pulled it in. The car was clean and ran wonderfully. I enjoyed having the car for the evening and would rent from this location again.

Paid for a full-size SUV twice once in December last year and now in October both times when I got there, they don't have any SUVs left. I made these reservations months prior to my arrival and there's not a single SUV for me on top of that they give me some Mazda car hatchback, and no refund they could at least give me a refund for the price difference I paid for a full SUV and then giving me a car instead. I was understanding about it when it happened in December last year but now almost a year later same exact thing should be considered a scam because I was definitely ripped off.

Economy car I rented for a work trip to Dallas was just too dirty inside and out so I refused. They offered me an "upgrade" Toyota Camry but told me it had been recently smoked in. Seriously these are my two options? Filthy dirty or dirty and smoked in. Which would you take? They were closing soon so I just took the dirty smoked-in Camry. The pictures do not show how badly everything was covered in dirt and sticky. Gross. Then I get the high pressure give us 5 stars on return. Why would I do this when the car was so bad? Well I did take $25 off was his response. My client paid I don't care. This is the first really bad rental I have ever had from Enterprise. It should not be location dependent.

Five stars is VERY rare for a car rental place but I gotta tell you. Everything went super smoothly here so it well deserves 5 stars. While visiting Austin, we wanted to rent a car to drive to Dallas. The whole experience with Enterprise was painless. They picked us up at our hotel - they called me when they were outside. The check in process was painless. We had unlimited milage and received a new, clean Ford Focus. Don't forget to bring your own charger! We weren't ready to return the car until after they closed. We could have kept it overnight, but would have had to pay to park it. Instead, we parked it in the Enterprise garage and dropped the keys in the overnight key drop. It could not have been easier and I was really pleased with everything.

So far so good. I rarely leave a final review until after I have turned the car in and see how the total experience turned out. I had to wait over an hour to be picked up from the train station. I actually reserved the car at the Stassney location but when I called them for a ride they said I was out of their pick up range and moved my reservation to the downtown location. I would have preferred Stassney because it was closer to my daughter's house but when I asked, they said I could turn in the car to that location if I wanted to. I assumed they meant without any extra fee. Hopefully so. It was a little tricky to drive out of the Enterprise car lot and straight into downtown Austin traffic. Another reason why I would have preferred a more outlying location. Thank goodness for the GPS on my phone to help find my way south to the Airbnb I would be staying at. The car is very nice, a Hyundai Accent, nicer than I was expecting for an economy car. More times than not I get a free upgrade, but that didn't happen this time. When I asked if they had any red cars she said no but she was giving me a blue one. I was happy because I was picturing a crayon shade blue. I was surprised when I saw the car because I would have called it a charcoal grey. I thought maybe it was just a matter of interpretation. However, my daughter said it was definitely a gray car and when I looked at the paperwork it said the car was gray so I don't know why the girl tried to tell me it was blue. Either she was colorblind or she thought I was too senile to notice the difference. Surprise surprise! I'm not.

Awesome customer service! Perhaps things would have been different during a busy time, but we called this past Sat morning at 9am when they opened with no reservation expecting not to get a car however by 11am (and a couple of call backs from their employees) I was driving off the lot with a car. Not only that but I asked if I could take the shiny new red F150 that was getting washed and Daniel honored my request with no extra charge!! My girls and I were visiting from SoCal to experience Texas, so driving around a big red truck was, we felt, perfect and sooooo much fun! All the employees in there were smiley and bounced around suggestions for this out-of-towner to do. Much appreciated guys. One side note - While the guys were friendly and easy going, they were a bit too casual in the neglect of giving me explicit times for returning the car. Thought I had a great weekend special day rate of $24.99 and $19.99 basic insurance, however it was never mentioned to me that it was minimum two days. We took the car out the next day for a scenic drive through hill country and returned just after the office closed, no one ever mentioned it would be a whole 2nd day charge. Perhaps that's me being naive, but that should be explicitly clear when they are doing the initial rental paperwork. After some back and forth on the phone, new employee Greg made it right and I was very happy with the end result. Great customer service, just make sure they explain and you understand all rules, times, and charges. Thanks Enterprise for our Texas truck!!! Yeeehawww!!

Because of Zak's outstanding customer service, I'm officially a customer for life. I'm a co-parent and travel to Austin every other month, and Fox will continue to be my go-to rental company because of experiences like this. I wish i could give 0 stars but 1 is the only on Yelp. We booked a car through wisecars.com (car…read morebroker) and then they said we had to pick up the car from fox rent a car. It took us more than 30 minutes to get our car from the fox rent a car. First off, we reserved a Kia Sportage online and paid for it. However, when we got to the booth, the representative kept telling us we booked a Nissan Kick. And then, he said that car wasn't available either and that we can only rent us the Dodge charger which was a sedan. It newly saying is roomy and it would have plenty of space for our things. Which was bull! When we asked for a SUV, he said he had a grand Cherokee but it would cost us$20 more per day. It was so frustrating. He wasn't trying to work with us. I thought he was being rude and took advantage of us. We ended up taking the dodge because we didn't want to pay more. By the way, it wasn't roomy at all. It was cramped inside the car with the car seat, diaper bag, and me in the back with the baby. We were so mad. We complained to wisecars.com about our situation and they said they would email fox rent a car. They got back to us and said that fox rent a car actually upgraded us to that sedan. How was that an upgrade from an SUV? I wish I read the reviews for this rental car company before we went there. Don't rent from these guys. They don't care about you.
