My favorite place to grab breakfast in Springfield. I have lived here for 10 years now & would recommend this place to anyone. The food is excellent & the drinks follow suit. Weekends are definitely busy but the bar service makes for the perfect means to get through any wait time. read more

Love this place. Could eat there every day. The wait gets a little crazy on the weekends but is well worth it

Had the El Chupacabra with hashbrowns and a Morning Mover. Everything was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh. There could have been a little more avocado and cheese, but the portions were perfect other than that! We will definitely be back! read more

Great place. I can eat my breakfast and follow it with a good bourbon. Service is excellent. The barkeeper remembered my preferences for bourbon, Woodford Reserve, neat, and a water with no ice to the side. What more could one ask? read more

Yum. One of my favorite places to eat breakfast. The wait for food tends to be a little long but such a great atmosphere to be in. Great music, great people, good vibes only. I love this place. Plan b on spending a few hours there read more

Best breakfast ever!! The "Robin" bird's nest is PHENOMENAL, I subbed out the broccoli for spinach and mushrooms and it was fantastic. Coffee is great, good pancakes, and our waitress Anastasia was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone in the area. read more

The food was very good. Hipsters everywhere. I would definitely go back. We sat outside and there was a decent amount of bees and flies. Maybe wait for a table inside. read more

Found this place on Yelp. Probably wouldn't have found it otherwise or stopped if I had seen it from the street. Tucked back off street at the end of a strip mall. Has a nice outside patio that we would has requested had it not been for the 40 min wait. We found a couple seats at the bar after about a 5 minute wait. Everyone in the place was working hard to tend to the packed house. The Bloody Mary was just the right amount of spicy with a generous amount of olives. The coffee cups are huge so drink your joe fast. The Garden scramble was filled with large fresh veggies and came with a side of crispy on the outside sweet potato nugge and a cup of fruit. My hubby had the meatatarian omelette. It was everything he loves, covered in gravy with a side hash browns. We will definitely return the next time we visit MSU. read more

I'm a previous restaurant manager of 5+ years and I am severely guilty of picking apart restaurants. Without a doubt one of the friendliest environments you can go to in SGF. Let's whip out some major examples. 1. You are consistently greeted with a smile as you walk through those glorious doors. 2. Before you know it, the bartender (usually the owner) looks at you and says something that tickles your core and forces a smile outta ya. 3. While you wait (Bueller), they encourage (pay at bar) drinks on the sun-lit patio. I usually order a fully loaded mimosa pitcher for my group. (Vodka, champagne, oj, bye). -- I'm really needing a mimosa as I type this. -- 4. The pivotal moment when your server asks "What are you having today?" and you almost have a slight panic attack because THE ENTIRE MENU IS BEAUTIFUL (and by 'beautiful', I mean you can order anything and you'd be gtg...good to go). 5. Have no fear, those genuine friends of yours (the servers) will recommend, revise and request you towards certain meal options. They're super knowledgable and definitely want the best experience for you (I might cry). 6. BIGGEST PORTIONS OF YOUR LIFE. 7. Hustle and bustle at this place is no joke. Coffee: Always full. 8. Sweet potato nuggets. I felt that sentence was severely underwhelming...SWEET POTATO NUGS. 9. They've got some kitchen ninjas in the back whippin' up ridiculously beautiful plates of home cooked goodness. 10. EB gets it. You've got 5 kids, G-units (grandparents) are in town and you'd like to show them SGF's best. This place whips out turnovers like none other. The host says 1 hour wait..you'll be seated in 30min with a huge, clean table ready. It's seriously impressive. Let's be honest, who wouldn't want to work here? I'm going to apply one day just to run a gravy train on that server floor. With that being said, you can usually find me face first in a plate of local granola with fresh fruit and a side of homemade B&G. EB if you're reading this, thanks for making my weekends brighter and my belly happy. read more

Terrible service. Came hungry and ready to eat and we're told that there would be a 40 min wait. We were finally seated after an hour and 15 min. The hostess appeared to be hungover. She was also very rude when I asked how much longer the wait would be. At one point she said there were 4 people in front of us and 30 min later there were still 2 people in front of us? Many people were seated in between. We requested a manager and he was also very rude. He made defensive excuses with no apology. He made it seem like our feedback back was a waste of his time, threw his arms up and walked away. The food was not that great and made me sick. The only reason im giving 2 stars is because our waitress was good. read more

Food is just ok...it has a hole in the wall pub vibe which may be good for some but for me it was way too dirty. The floors, chairs, windows, and especially the restroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned ever. read more

the service was not the best and neither was the food. My tacos were dripping grease, completely unedible.

The Early Bird Cafe is now my go-to breakfast spot. The atmosphere is open and hip. I had the Robin Bird's Nest breakfast which was delicious. I loved the puff pastry under the scrambled eggs with feta cheese and black olives. The coffee is locally brewed from Brick and Mortor and always hot and fresh! read more

Out for a little brunch, nicely poured Bloody Mary. Staff was accommodating to my dog, which was allowed on the patio. A little slow on the service, but I'm sure there wasn't more than 3 servers on plus accommodating the patio..Overall it was a enjoyable brunch, and I would try again. read more

If u get sick of your cereal or microwave breakfast sandwich. Go to early birds. Their food prep is spot on. Great menu. In my opinion, blows every other competitor out of the water. Well done early bird read more

My friends were eating outside with their dog earlier. They said come on by and eat outside and bring your dog. I call to double check that we can eat outside and bring our dog as well. The lady answering the phone says, well that was a regular customer they are in all the time our outside seating is actually closed. Followed by an irritated scream that the employee made aaaaaarrrhhh. Very mean customer service and also the person eating outside with their dog was not a regular and said the service was bad but food was good. They did not let us eat outside with our dog. read more

Very much enjoyed the food but service for a part of my family was terrible. Our group had 3 tables. Our waiter was excellent but one table had a waiter who was very rude, ruined our experience. Manager was informed so very hopeful changes occur. If nit, will not return. read more

Fantastic food- Reuben was from real shredded corn beef which was amazing. Had the breakfast burrito is a great choice and Monkey bread was great as well. Came during the rush on a Sunday and only had a 10 minute wait. Only thing we didn't like was the darkness of the restaurant-Little to dark for family breakfast. Great place and highly recommend this place to anyone read more

Are you in the mood for a great breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, etc.? Then I only suggest you visit this place if you'd like that served as a mush on a plate. It seriously looked like they just slid everything they had on the prep table onto a plate. They tried to "fancy it up" by giving the food clever names, but it looked like vomit on a plate. Oh, I forgot a key word here: cold. Yes, my food felt like it just came out of the walk-in. The biscuits tasted like they were out of a can, the gravy out of a bag, the bacon was mostly raw... I could do better at a Holiday Inn Express morning buffet. My adventurous partner had some scrambled eggs with half-frozen has browns. This place is great if you're drunk... Perhaps that's why they serve alcohol. Regardless, you can do much better for much less. Oh, my bill was $28 for this mess. Just awful. This place is seriously hyped up right now but will most likely fizzle with time. read more

worth every single penny and more!! it's cheap for the amount and quality of food they serve. 10/10 would recommend if you're hungover on sunday morning. the PLAYLIST THOUGH, was really fckn amazing, like all BOPS. favorite place to get brunch read more

I love this place. Kids love it too. Good family joint with nice sized portions. Kids always go for the waffles, I usually get an omelet with jalapenos and sour cream. Hash browns are perfect, everytime. Decent coffee, but could be taken up a notch. If it is nice outside, opt to sit out there. Don't fear the mimosas either. read more

The food is fabulous! Just don't come on the weekends during brunch. Its super busy. The presentation of the food is just brilliant. To top it off, an open bar to go with your breakfast. Wine, beer, or a nice cocktail... have your pick! read more

I am not a breakfast person but my husband is and we had heard many positive things about this place so we went in to give it a try. Get the Breakfast Margarita. It's really tasty with a slight orange flavor. My husband got the Eggs Atlantis and he said "you either do this dish right or wrong and they did it right". He was very happy with it. Since I am not a breakfast person I got the Shredded Pig which is a pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw on top. It was the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever tasted. Ever the bread was out of this world. Their home made BBQ sauce was great too. I got it with sweet potato tots on the side. The menu prices aren't cheap(my dish was $10 and my husbands was $11) and you will wait a while to get your food but it is well worth the wait. The place is clean inside and the servers are very friendly and helpful. I was skeptical at first but I can't wait to go back! read more

The food was good but not exactly what we ordered. Waitress was distracted and had to ask us twice what we ordered. We waited for 20 min to be seated even though there were 4 empty tables. read more

Came to the restaurant on a Sunday. It was already packed! We waited about 20-25 minutes. Service was Great! Food was even better!!!! The Yelp reviews didn't disappoint!! They have a varied menu... a little something for everyone. I had the breakfast burrito with mushrooms, spinach, broccoli and pork. My son had the pancakes with a side of ham. We sat outside on the patio. Atmosphere inside was nice as well... but who can resist the patio with the weather being so awesome!! They serve adult beverages if you're in the mood. All in all a solid for breakfast... My new favorite!! read more

Really interesting, creative menu. Went with the Meat-a-terian omelet sans gravy and it was great.

Really enjoyed this place today. The food was good- the best part for me was the music. They played the best music which made for great ambiance. I am excited to go back. read more

Love this place! Especially when it isn't super busy. The breakfast foods are great and I love the selection of drinks. Always a good time with friends and are not rushed by staff even when they have a wait. read more

Food is AWESOME. Really great menu but the service is undoubtedly the worst I've ever experienced consistently. We waited 45 minutes for a table that was open.... just needed to be cleaned. Our waitress was terrible, took 20 minutes to order food, when the food came out, we didn't have silverware and asked her. She then went and hung out with the receptionist for 5 minutes in plain view while our food was just sitting in front of us....so I got up and asked again and we finally got silverware. When we got our checks, half of them were wrong. Even though the food was great, I probably won't return just because of how slow and poor the service it. Seriously, if you want to try out this place, SIT AT THE BAR. The owners are the bartenders and apparently they're the only ones that give a shit. read more

Good luck to a new restaurant. Through 30 plus years in the restaurant business, I would suggest limit your menu and focus on quality you can serve quickly, turn more tables and make more money. As a breakfast place that boasts being a pub you should have a signature/solid Bloody Mary. Love the beer selection! Coffee didn't meet expectation... expecting a signature roast. Mac-n-cheese needs flavor and I do not mean Kraft flavor. The monkey bread needs to be a sweet yeast bread not a quick bread. If you can't do it...don't or call it something else. Very clean (only 2 weeks old). This is going to be a great place just needs a little more tweeking. Keep cooking!! read more

Atmosphere is fun, and the food is good. They were so busy that we sat at the bar. Wait staff was pleasant, but obviously overworked as they forgot silverware and the orange juice. The food as worth the wait and we will definitely come back. Hopefully they will hire more servers. read more

Really delicious and unique breakfast food. The birds nests are great. Sweet potato tater tots were also a yummy surprise. Worth coming back for a reasonably priced brunch. read more

Love the concept of a breakfast pub. The food was solid... what can you say about bacon and eggs other than the eggs were cooked as ordered and the bacon was thick, crispy and tasty. The food took longer than expected, probably 20 minutes after ordering. read more

The best.... atmosphere, food, staff, Bloody Mary's ..... can't go wrong no way no how!

Chorizo and eggs with a great Bloody Mary are Perfect combo. Will go back and have it again
