Great Service! Brought my Windows 7 PC in that wouldn't Boot up Last week. Cliff ran some quick tests and said it was either the video card or the Motherboard. It's so old but houses a TV graphic card that works with Cable. Cliff's recommendations worked. I ended up finding the exact Video Card Used on Ebay and I'm up and running again. I'm not very computer literate, so I need a computer guy who is willing to take the time (sometimes a lot of time) and has the patience to explain stuff to me that's probably obvious to a nine-year-old, and Cliff from Eagletech is just the right person for a customer like me. I could picture some computer "genius" getting impatient with me, or even mocking me, or yelling 'next customer' before my concerns have been addressed, but never Cliff. Plus, he not only knows his stuff, he's wiling to go the extra mile for his customers. I used to always go to Eagle Tech and left feeling satisfied. I went with an expensive laptop(HP) which needed a new battery. I get a phone call a week later that they tried two new batteries and now the motherboard is dead. They said it would cost over $1,000 to fix it and that it would likely have more issues so I was best buying a new laptop. They sold me a laptop for $1,300 which was significantly less quality than the one I came in with. I brought my HP to another tech guy I knew to help me sell it for parts and he sends me pictures of a cut wire that went to the motherboard. The motherboard was never broken, just cut. I went to a new computer place and they fixed the battery within two days. It only cost me $90. I feel so ripped off that I spent months without my nice HP and spent over $1,000 on a new laptop when in reality they just cut a wire to the motherboard. I will never recommend this store again. read more

About 5 years ago, after 4 stumbling clown techs coming to the house and then experiencing the bumbling Freek Squad fools at Best Buy, a friend recommended Eagletech. I am writing this post to everyone as a recommendation for the services provided by Eagletech Computers. I had never used them before, they did not know me, but they went above and beyond to help me. While working, I heard a hissing sound and suddenly my All-In-One's computer screen went black. I didn't remember the last time I backed up everything. Believe it or not, I was still using Windows 7. Immediately panic set in, as my entire life was on that computer - personal, as well as, business. I'm usually not this careless about maintenance, but I learned a hard lesson here. I looked for someone local and found Eagletech in Pearl River. I explained that I didn't have a way to drop it off to their shop. The owner showed up at my home first thing the next morning and took my computer. His shop contacted me quickly and we went over all of my options. They never once pressed me to buy anything, even a new computer, although they do have anything you need in stock. I listened to the choices they gave me and chose to go with a refurbished computer, which happens to be lightening fast. To me, it feels brand new. They loaded everything into this computer, backed up to an external hard drive, and also gave me my old computer's hard drive. On top of this incredible service, I couldn't believe how reasonable their prices were. I never felt so well taken care of. I called with a few follow up questions about my new operating system (Windows 10) and Elaine was so patient with me. She connected to my computer and walked me through everything until I was comfortable. I told my neighbor about their fantastic service and he told me he doesn't use anyone else but them because they're the best. Cliff has serviced my household computers for a few years now - whether they've needed something as simple as a fan cleaning or an actual part replacement. Most recently my older laptop that I had used daily for four solid years started having shutoff issues, and Cliff leveled with me that the cost to fix it would likely end up being more than the value of the laptop. At my request he transferred all of my data to another laptop and even retrieved my Microsoft Office product key. The total fee was about $108 including tax. Loved Eagletech when it was owned by Phil. Brought my laptop in recently to Cliff thinking I had a "Rootwin" virus. Upon picking up the laptop, he told me I had a virus that they cleaned out and charged me $100.00. Brought the laptop home and ran my own scan and there shows up "Sanning Rootwin". Brought the laptop right back to Cliff and showed him the screen. He then told me that it didn't mean I had a virus, but that the software was looking for the virus. Turns out, there was no virus on my machine and today, I found his log on my desktop indicating no viruses, malware or Trojans AT ALL on the laptop.
