Their margarita was good and not crazy expensive. The boat ride was great and it had a bathroom on it which was helpful. The owners are so kind and get everyone involved. They give out chips and lemonade/water they have pirate tattoos and pointed out eagles nests along the path. I wish they would've went one way down the chain instead of going halfway one way and halfway another. We got ice cream before we headed out. Overall, definitely a place to check out if you have kids or want to sit outside and look at the lake.

He then calls the next day to ask why we didnt pick up the rental the prior day (that they cancelled), went back against his word said he would be billing for all 3 days as it was our fault for not picking up the rentals AND his "system" would not allow him to refund or change any reservations. We fully canceled the rental due to poor and shady business practices and rented somewhere else (Go to Tracksides instead). Boat Sport calls back 45 minutes later now wanting to negotiate "a new deal" and would now (again) honor a 2-day rental and not charge for Friday but we had already gone with another rental place. Next day places a charge against the credit card for thousands of dollars for a 3-day rental and full deposits. Called and they would not discuss details. Talked over us and stated everything was documented, it was their policy and he was entitled to all the money even though no services were rendered. Kept changing his story - flip flopping and didn't keep his word. SUPER SKETCHY! DO NOT RENT FROM!

This year we rented from Saturday to Saturday even though we weren't staying at our rental until Sunday. When we arrived on Sunday we were all ready to take the pontoon boat out, but there was less the 1/8 of a tank of gas in it. We were stranded and someone from Bubba's company did not arrive to fill it with gas until 7pm that night. An entire day was lost and there was NO hint at a discount or change in price to this error. We contacted Bubba on Friday to see when pick up was and we kindly requested a later pick on Saturday due to the inconvenience caused on that Sunday and we were met with "we'll see what we can do." Paying an astronomical amount of money per day should result in a boat in perfect condition....not mold, leaves and pine needles in every cushion lifted up. I'm beyond appalled with the condition and service of the boat rental. If you're up in this area go with ANY OTHER RENTAL and you'll be better off.

All of them had less than 4,000 miles on them. A couple only had 300 miles. They had plenty of gear to purchase in their shop for very reasonable prices. Things were a little disorganized but everything was fine. There are awesome trails in this area! Make sure to get the two stroke---they're so much more powerful than the comparable 4 stroke.

Rented snowmobiles (sleds) from Toy Shop. The staff was excellent and informative. Our group was…read morenot first time riders, but if we were we would have felt comfortable and fully prepared by the staff with all safety and tail information. We rented full gear, (helmets, pants, jackets, boot covers) and they were all very clean and in great shape. The sleds were 2021 models and in tip top shape. Rental rates were very affordable and lowest in the area. I unfortunately had my car keys fall out of my pocket on the trail while driving to return the sleds. The staff went above and beyond trying to help the situation. They had two staff members take sleds and back track the 18-mile trail to our cabin in an attempt to locate my keys. Another staff drove our group back to our cabin to search. Truly grateful to the Toy Shop staff for all their help. Ultimately we couldn't find the keys and they drove me to Rhinelander to pick up a rental car. They let me leave my car in the parking lot for almost a week while I returned to Chicago to pick up my spare key set and fly back up to retrieve the car. Not ideal, but given the circumstance.. the Toy Shop really really helped me out. Thank you very much to the Toy Shop Staff. Got to know the owner a bit and it's a small family business, local to Eagle River. Great people with great service. Wouldn't rent from anyone else.
