CAVEAT: The following demonstrates EAGLE FENCE's ability to take responsibility for its work. Sean's concrete installation of right fence post was faulty. It subsided, forcing gate to lean to the left; lock doesn't work and gate must be pushed hard to open or close. Instead of fixing the right post, Sean blames neighbor's fence post that actually keeps left gate post upright. See green metal gate on website.
"What? You can do whatever you'd like to do, but this will not be getting me to come work on your gate.
My bond company will laugh at you for trying to pull a claim over a 10 year old gate that your neighbor screwed up to begin with.
Contractor warranty law is one year, and I know you know that since you're a lawyer. Are you going to threaten to take me to court next over a 10 year old gate?
You can also do what you want to on social media, I don't care. Anyone who listens to your rantings is not someone I would work for anyways.
I've been in business for 30 years this year, this is the first contact of this type I have ever received. It's a 130 mile round trip for me to come down and work on your gate. You have at least 10 fence companies within 15 miles of you. You do the math.
Your gate is out of warranty. I fixed it once free of charge even though I had nothing to do with the neighbor moving the fence and causing the latch post to go out of alignment. I said I would try to get by if I was in the area. That is all I said, no implied warranty or promises.
My reputation is stellar, and for you to threaten to impugn it says so much more about you than me."
