He proceeded to navigate me through several potential fixes. None worked and it was determined I was hacked and locked up by someone who "really knew what they were doing." Aaron reccommended to wipe the hard drive and start over asking to drop off the two devices at his nearby home in Indian Wells. Aaron then immediately worked on the issue for next several hours. This is Sunday evening mind you after a 6 hour drive from Phoenix. By Monday morning I had picked up my laptop and tablet and was back in business. I wouldn't ask for better more prompt and professional service than what Aaron provided me. He will be my "go to" tech guy from now on. No one else has even been in the same universe.

After calling their business and being told they are able to fix basic cosmetic issues, I drove to…read morethe business to drop off my broken equipment. I found the location very hard to locate. It was unclear where to park and where the business was located. After parking and walking a long distance to the entrance, I went up the stairs of the difficult to find building only to find myself very confused by the vast number of businesses in the building. There was a large map posted on the wall of the second floor above the staircase that I found very hard to understand. I walked a short distance down each available hallway and was relieved to get some help by someone who was familiar with the building who was able to give me directions to the suite. When I got there, I was told that they could not fix it and to take it to Walmart.

I first turned to Luthra Tech because my Toshiba laptop severely slowed down until the point where…read moreit was unusable. Being a college student it was important for me to be able to pod-cast lectures, have multiple windows open at a time, and basically have my computer multitask in order to be able to complete my assignments efficiently. It got to the point where I felt like my computer was beginning to take a toll on my academic performance, yet I could not afford purchasing another one. The technicians at Luthra Tech not only helped me clear out my computer and get it running like new, they also walked me through the process of deciding which files I would back up and what programs to install to help my computer run better. My laptop turned out better than it was when I bought it and still had all my important files, documents, pictures, and music on it. I recommended Luthra Tech to my sister who was having problems with her Macbook Pro. It was about a year old but her problem was that too many things were downloaded on it and she forgot her admin password making it difficult for her to add and delete programs. After confirming that she was the owner of the laptop, the technicians at Luthra Tech helped my sister remove the firmware password on her laptop and take it through a full reinstall. Her laptop is working better than new and has all her important files, pictures, and music on it. I couldn't be happier with my experiences working with Luthra Tech, they were able to assist me with all my tech issues in a professional, friendly, and comfortable manner. I confidentially recommend Luthra Tech for all your tech needs.

Looks like I am the only one that doesn't love Desert Cow Computers. I had a virus that MalWare…read morebytes couldn't fix. I checked around and noticed all the great comments from Desert Cow customers, so I called them. At first Service seemed great, they make house calls. When the tech arrived I mentioned that before the virus my PC had been getting slower and slower over the last few months. I asked him about installing more memory and He said I had plenty of memory. He noticed I had MalWare bytes, System Mechanic, and another software that was suppose to speed up the PC. He recommended I get rid of all and go with Norton. He mentioned that a solid state hard drive would make my system faster. So I agreed that he install a new drive, get rid of the viruses and all Malware and anti-virus software and Install Norton. It took 7 days to get my PC back (One of those days was a holiday, but 6 days is still a long time). After it was delivered and setup the PC started up so fast. It took just a few seconds to boot up. For a few seconds I was excited, then I was told I would have to re-install all my software. It took me a few hours every day for a week to get all my software re-installed and files moved to where they should be. The solid state drive is great for booting up my PC. It doesn't help when I am moving files, or installing new software. The problem is that my old drive was a Terabyte and it was replaced with a solid state drive that is 1/4 the size. The new drive doesn't hold all my data so most of my data is still on my old slower drive. I don't remember if the size of the drive had been discussed. I just assumed it would be replaced with a drive of the same size, or larger. If it had understood that I was getting a much smaller drive I would never have agreed to replacing it. Even after all this happened I wasn't going to write this. But a few weeks ago I called Desert Cow because I had another virus. The woman who answered told me she was working with another customer and would call me in about 30mins. It's been more than two weeks and no call. I was able to contact Norton and they fixed the problem in a few minutes.
