Hellooooo! So my bike was recently stolen and from my front yard! It was horrible and one reason, other than it getting stolen, was this sorta shit just doesn't happen in my neighborhood. They stole it, the tire blew just around the corner and then the guy ditched it in an alley. I was beyond lucky to get it back. Guy across the street found it and his "friend" was like "it's so weird that the lock and key are right there! The tire was in bad shape" I said to myself....AAAAND there's the guy who stole it! Kept my comments to myself, but other things he said, just added up to him being the thief. I did say..."the lock and key being there shouldn't matter because THE BIKE WAS ON MY PROPERTY WHEN SOMEONNNE STOLE IT!" Fn creep. Anyway, it took my a minute to go and get the tire fixed. I finally did and took it to the Eagle Bike Shop abd glad I did. Was my first time there and I'll definitely go back. Not only is it literally like 3 mins from my house, the staff was excellent. Cody fixed my tire and was super fast in doing so. Love when that happens. He was awesome. The whole staff was super friendly, they know their shit, they tell you straight up what's wrong, what it will cost and don't try to rob you like other places do. I thought it was going to be expensive, but wasn't at all. Again, love when that happens! I think we all do lol. Last bike shop I took it to, where I bought the bike, the cost would be double because I've had it serviced there before in the past and their prices go up..often. I know other things that might come about will be pricey no matter where you go, and that's life, bikes can be pricey to take care of lol, but this bike shop and the vibe is a great one. It's kinda like finding a mechanic who works on your car for the exact problem and doesn't magically find other issues just to make more $$ on shit that doesn't need replacing. Eagle Bike Shop reminds me of a great mechanic who is great to their customers and does work on what needs to be done and that's it. Grateful to these guys for fixing my bike and now that weather is insanely beautiful, I can finally ride again. I do nnnnnot do summer bike rides lol. Too damn hot. I'm not one made for Summer weather. Autumn and Winter are the best! Ok! Guess that's it! Thanks Cody for doing a great job and being super efficient. Thanks to the shop for just being an all around great spot. I know where I'll always go from here on out. If you haven't been and use a bike frequently, I highly recommend this place. The people who work here are rude and unhelpful. Not sure how they are still even open with how annoyed and rude they respond to you in person regarding any bike questions as they are a BIKE SHOP! Will continue to give Reed's our business as they are amazing with their customer service! I would give zero stars if that was an option. read more

Not sure how this shop gets any positive reviews. Have been there twice and the customer service and staff attitude is terrible. The first time thought maybe the guy was having a bad day. He basically said no to helping me with a battery replacement. Brought my wife's e-bike in about a month later and service was no better. Unfriendly and first thing he says it's $75 charge for us to even look at and assess the bike. I was there to fix a flat tire. Good grief. Anyway I walked out and went to Merdian Bikes on Main Street in Merdian and was serviced friendly and professionally the same day. read more

Went multiple times in deciding on new e-bikes and each time shop was busy. Plenty to look at while I waited my turn and glad I did. Ended up w 2 great bikes Aventon Pace 500 and new Pace 4. Not only where they put together in a timely matter but all the little extras we wanted were put on and ready when we picked it up. Great shop very knowledgeable owner!! read more

Awesome local bike shop. They helped me with refreshing my Specialized tubeless tires. That said minor work. However while waiting I noticed him interact patiently with some women that were very how do I say it bike illiterate. He patiently answered all their questions. After seeing some of the negative reviews here, I can help but think some negative clients perspectives are distorted. read more

The Aveton bikes are just ok. That's expected I guess because they are relatively inexpensive They are heavy, and they don't go the advertised range. More importantly ,The service there is horrible. They are rude and dismissive. As an example we brought our bikes in for flat tires. I asked when we might get them back and was told "in a few days". I asked him to give me an estimate and he said "I told you in a few days!" I left the bikes there and on the way home decided to go elsewhere. I picked up the bikes with no apologies or help and I took them to Intermountain Touring. Not only did they help me load and unload the bikes, they were ready a few hours later. They don't sell Aventon bikes, but I noticed that my bike wasn't the only Aventon bike there. Don't go there! read more

I have rarely had an experience as bad as I have had at this shop. I am a former business owner who understands business practices and will be taking action in various ways. But none of these will get me back a month of nothing a bike for the three months I am able to use it. And it dows not appear I will have a bike anytime soon. I paid $1900 for a bike on May 25 and have never had a working bike. After I paid money, only then I was informed I had to wait up to seven days for the bike to be put together. This was not correct. I had to wait eleven days. Had I known it would take even seven days, I would have called the store in Boise that also sells Benton bikes to see how long it would take them. This was just the start of a series of disingenuous or incompetent bad business practices. The bike was malfunctioning before I left the shop with it, but the person who runs the shop told me it was working fine even though I got an error message 30 for communication connectivity when learning how to use the bike computer in the shop. The employee/manager restarted the computer and said it was working fine and he didn't know why that message came up or what it meant. Today is June 22 and I do not have a date for having a working bike. Each time I communicated with the only guy who appears to work at the shop, he acts like I am unreasonable. After getting the bike, I rode approx 12 miles total on the bike on two different rides. On each ride the error message came up but the bike worked fine once I started the computer. The third time, the message came up as soon as I turned the bike computer on and the bike would not work. I had a friend who had driven half hour to go biking with me. I called the shop and was told it was just the electrical connections. I sent pictures of all the points of contact with the battery as instructed. I rode the bike in to th shop as requested and when I got there he told me there was nothing he could do because I had not brought a yellow key, which he had told me previously I would rarely need to use. He checked all the wiring and connections and said I would have to come back in for him to check the battery connections. I asked for a new bike and he said I would have to go through warranty service. Unbelievable. He sent in a typed warranty claim to Aventon and said it would take up to three days to even hear back. I had had the bike in my possession for five days. on the third day with no response he suggested that I call the company. I waited 20 minutes on the phone and the customer service guy said that it was the controller and expressed shock and dismay that Eagle Bike shop did not know this and had not asked for a controller. Then he acted like he was doing a big favor by requesting "expedited shipping" which he said meant the part would ship in three business days from the date of my call, not the date of the shop's call three days previously. The part did not only take eight days to ship out, it was sent about the slowest speed that fedex offers and I have not received the part, let alone have a working bike after 26 days. I emailed several times back to this guy and only heard back that he was doing everything he could possible do. this guy like the shop guy acts like I am being demanding. When I sent an email reminding him that I would only be able to use the bike for three months before I moved away from the Boise greenbelt and any biking trails, I got no response. I had decided to spend my money on an e-bike rather than golf or other summer activities because I had purposely spent additional money to rent a small apartment that was specifically on the greenbelt so I could take advantage for three months of the trails along the boise river with an e-bike. No response. Again, my bike was malfunctioning before it left the shop but I was told it wasn't, even though customer service told me it was obvious there was something wrong with the controller. Despite being given a defective bike, neither Aventon nor the bike shop would give me a new one. There is one already assembled and for sale sitting in the Eagle Bike shop that is same model, and same color. It would have been so easy to just swap out my tires and give me that bike. I don't know if the bike employee/manager is dishonest or incompetent re giving me a defective bike. But to not swap out the bike, Aventon and the bike shop are stealing my money. Who knows how much longer this drama will continue. I contacted another AVenton dealer and they feel so sorry they are picking up my bike for me. But they aren't going to work on the bike for free. Just needed some minor adjustments on my hybrid, called ahead and got in the same day. While Cody racked my bike to work on it, I had some time to looked around. Very impressed with their cycle inventory as well as a vast variety of accessories. For a relatively small shop, it's obvious that they have researched which products they needed to stock to serve the local cycling community. Cody finished up quickly and answered my questions about future cycling plans. I plan on making this shop my one stop shopping for future maintenance and cycling accessories for my bikes. read more

Each time I go into this shop or call this shop, the owner Eddie is there. He is not a warm person nor is he really interested in helping you get what you need, he is pretty dismissive and rude. Aside from the fact that they are a pro shop and have pretty good items, I won't be shopping there again or recommending this shop to anyone. There are other shops with nicer folks who actually care about keeping a customer happy. read more

Each time I visit Eagle Bike Shop I am impressed with their knowledge of cycling products and their eagerness to help make my cycling experience a good one. I know, that sounds a bit much but let me explain. A few years ago I broke my neck in a cycling accident. The surgery involved lots of hardware that has locked down my range of motion by 70%. Unfortunately, this made my race style bike unrideable as I can raise my head enough to bent into the drops or even ride on the hoods. Cutting to the chase, Eddie and the gang at EBS made suggestions as we teamed up to fit me to my new Trek Dual Sport 4, now with riser extensions and end bars. This tweaking took a few visits, parts ordered, and patient fine tuning but they never lost focus. I could tell they really wanted me back riding. Although I miss my race style road bike, my hybrid is comfortable enough to get me back up to 40 mile rides. Once I get back to 60-70 mile rides, I intend to do a metric century as before and then a full century. Thanks you guys! read more

My BMC needed a major overhaul and these guys nailed it. They took the time to do it right and made sure I was comfortable with the parts and costs. The bone is line new again and I'm extremely tough on it. The best part is manner in which they worked with me. And the fact that they were very factual in showing me the exact problems and why it needed the work. I'm not too concerned with how they might verbalize it or if the words and personal attention met my needs, I was most concerned about a quality job for a fair price. I have gone to the bike shop about 4 to 5 times. The owner isn't very friendly. He treated my wife and I like we don't, or ever will have the money to buy the bikes there. We have the money to get any bike he has to offer. I have never done a review. On a bike shop, and I support local bike shops... but not this one. If I could give zero I would. read more

Shame on you Eagle Bike Shop!  My husband and I came in today, Friday July 23, to look at, and potentially purchase, two Aventon Aventure ebikes. We are from the Seattle area and previously test rode the Rad Rover and intended to compare it to the Aventure. We knew in advance you did not have the step through version I want in stock, but still expected my husband would be able to look at the Aventure, get a feel for it, have some questions answered, and maybe test ride. From the outset, the "sales clerk" was uninterested in helping us with the Aventure that we were there to look at and uninterested quickly turned into rude. Rather than discuss the Aventon features, his sales pitch was to trash Rad Power bikes we mentioned having looked at back home. He did allow my husband to test ride the Aventure in the parking lot, after which we decided to purchase two Aventon ebikes, knowing that the step through would have to be ordered. Again, rather than make an effort to close the sale of two ebikes in the store plus a trailer hitch rack to carry them and probably a helmet and extra seat, your employee was all about the "no". The hitch was out of stock (no offer to order one or information about where to find one) and no he couldn't sell us the step through and ship it, in the box and unassembled, to us at home in Washington State.  We reached an impasse and rather think outside the box to secure what may have been a $5000 sale, his response was "If you're not going to buy a bike, I have to get back to work" and he walked away into the back where he appeared to make a joke about us to another employee as they were laughing and watching us as we exited.  No, there were no other customers in the store that he needed to attend to, he was simply uninterested in helping us.  Better luck to the next customer, but we won't be back or recommend your shop to friends and family in the area. read more

We are blown away! Can't thank these guys enough. We're in town from Hood River with big plans to ride all week. My husband's hub failed in the first 5 minutes of our first ride.
