In addition to routine maintenance, I have…read morehad an entire A/C system installed which included electrical and gas line work which was difficult due to the location in a narrow hallway closet. I have also had them replace a condenser in another system. Recently, they replaced a gas water heater with a tankless system. This was a difficult installation due to the location in the center of the house and the need to install intake and exhaust pipes to the exterior of the house. A technician and two installers made visits and then I was given a detailed proposal with recommendations and several options. The owner, Robert, called to answer my list of questions, so that I fully understood my options. The work was scheduled within the week. The technicians arrived on time, reviewed the project with me and kept me updated as the work progressed. They laid down protective coverings over hardwood floors, as they had to drain and remove the 80 gallon water heater through the living area. The installation required that they cut two access openings in an existing chase to gain access to an outside wall. They cleaned up afterwards and I could not tell that they had been working there. I have always experienced great service from the initial contact through the competition of a project. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their HVAC and water heater services.

Instead of pushing for a service visit, he spent about 20 minutes on the phone patiently walking me through a few diagnostic steps because he suspected it might be a common issue based on my description. We were able to identify the problem together, which I'm very grateful for. That kind of honesty and willingness to help is rare and says a lot about someone's character. I really appreciate the time he took to help me out and would definitely recommend him and his company to others.

I also appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need - I asked about installing a heat pump and he explained why it didn't make financial sense in my situation. Twice since then I've gotten in over my head with DIY HVAC projects. Both times I've called James to ask for help and he's been able to walk me through how to fix the issue myself without requiring a service call. It's a huge relief to have an expert you can trust. I'd highly recommend calling James for any HVAC needs.

Holden Village recently had the pleasure of working with James Colver of Allied Heating and AC…read moreSolutions, an outstanding HVAC contractor who exceeded our expectations in every aspect of a major water heating system upgrade. Beginning with the initial consultation, he took time to carefully assess the condition and limitations of the aging electric water heaters in our hotel/dining hall. Rather than offer a quick fix, he conducted a thorough analysis of our facility's needs, listening closely to feedback from multiple stakeholders before proposing a long-term solution. Holden Village presents unique challenges for a contractor. We are an ecumenical retreat center built in an abandoned mining town high in the North Cascades Mountains. The only access to the Village is by ferry boat up Lake Chelan and then by Holden's bus transport ten miles up a steep gravel road. We produce our own power with a hydroelectric system, operate our own water treatment system and septic system, and repair and maintain our 1930s lodges, chalets, and community spaces. Everything we need must be transported in by barge, ferry, and truck. James's recommendation--a high-efficiency heat pump water heating system--was not only environmentally forward-thinking but is projected to reduce our energy costs by up to 90% in our hotel. This substantially reduces the load on our hydroelectric system and perfectly aligns with our long-term goal of becoming a carbon neutral facility. James walked us through every detail of the system's performance, benefits, and installation process with clarity and professionalism, making sure we understood what to expect. Once we agreed on the scope of the project, James took all these challenges in stride, arranging to bring his own vehicle in by barge, fully stocked with the tools and equipment he needed to complete the job. The installation itself was seamless. Despite the complexity of our custom-built energy management system, he integrated the new heat pump with impressive technical skill, ensuring compatibility and peak performance. Throughout the process, he was consistently courteous, respectful of our operational needs, and kept disruptions to an absolute minimum. James and Allied Heating and AC Solutions didn't just provide a product; they took the time to understand our situation and learn what was important to us, and then delivered a thoughtful, cost-saving, and expertly executed solution. James's ability to blend technical expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement made the entire experience positive and stress-free. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking a trusted HVAC professional who goes above and beyond.

As of April 13th, I am still being double charged and the issue has not been resolved. I have been flexible and willing to work with them, but the owner Mark and the sales guy Loren made that impossible. Loren will say anything to close a deal. The lack of oversight is staggering. They refused to do a walkthrough with the installer and seller, which led to two heat pumps being installed incorrectly. They had to be moved, and that caused even more damage to my home. They also charged my credit card while "charging" a Synchrony loan, so I have been effectively double-charged for months. Now they refuse to speak on the phone and only send haphazard email replies that never resolve anything. They promised to fix the drywall in writing. This was necessary to repair their own mistakes and because I preferred to have the electrical work go through the house, which they agreed to. Instead, they sent a third-party worker and then demanded a massive payment for the repair. They eventually gave me a payment to cover the drywall fixes myself, which I am grateful for, but even that took over 3 months of fighting. The actual installers and electricians were amazing. They should go find a new job at another installer with actual integrity. My problem is entirely with Mark and Loren. Since they use AI for their reviews, expect a fake reply from Max below. Save your sanity and hire a company that won't hold your money hostage.
