He said the add-a-wire was broken and we'd need to get a new one when actually, all he needed to do was set a refrigerant setting on the control board (which another installer knew to set to get it working well). He also stopped responding to our texts to have him bring the 2 parts and finish the job for two weeks as we were suffering with heat and no AC. He justified this ghosting by being out town. So we had to hire someone else. We wanted to be reimbursed $300 for having to hire someone else to diagnose and set this setting. He refused. To not take care of the settings to make the unit operable is deceptive when the agreement was that he would "install the furnace". From some research online, an "installation is generally understood to not just encompass the physical placement and connection of the unit but also the necessary configuration, adjustments, testing, and setup steps to ensure the system is fully operable and safe to use". It was also deceptive to say he would handle extra material and not replace a bit of venting. But I generously let the vent concern go. When I asked him to refund us for having to hire someone else to set this setting, he said, regarding dealing with settings: "I don't do that." I responded that if I'm paying someone $500 an hour, I expect professional know-how and a complete install. He called us ridiculous for essentially wanting an actual working furnace and not having to pay someone else extra to finish it. Despite me explaining that the setting was the issue, and that the next technician restored the power to the thermostat simply by setting that, he insisted the furnace wasn't working because we didn't upgrade the wire to the thermostat. Tristan said regarding the wiring, "this is the proper way to install WITHOUT changing any settings on the damn furnace" But research online says that the furnace will not operate properly without correctly setting this. In fact, it was an obvious issue that the blower was always on with no thermostat wire connected, which the second installer identified and said should not be happening given no signal from the thermostat telling it to turn on. Further indicative of his unprofessionalism, at one point he said, "Thanks for trying to take food out of my family's mouth for no reason." I responded, "thanks for trying to take food out of my families mouth by not being professional and costing us more money" (by having to hire someone else to finish the installation). He's probably feeding his family just fine with how much he's being paid per hour, but he very would could have trouble with that if he continues down the reputation-destroying path he's currently on. Tristan is likely prone to charge a good amount and do a half-ass job and then justify his incompetence. Beware.

If anyone is looking for great HVAC people these guys were incredible. They have after hours…read moredispatch for emergencies and can come any time. Our furnace was on the fritz all week and finally quit last night. The guy called me back within 5 minutes of leaving a message at 11:30pm last night. With nighttime lows in the single digits it was a concern. He was super nice, and let me know the price difference if I waited until morning, that our house would be fine for one night and not have frozen pipes, and also that it would be better worth our time to have him come when he can get parts right away. He had our furnace repaired within 45 minutes and we finally have heat. Also, he helped save us money on our very tight budget. In less than 12 hrs, our heat is on and the house is almost warm again. Thank you so much, guys. I'm telling everyone I know to call you.

Consumer beware... this company serviced our furnace in the attic and right after they left…read more(unknown to us) the furnace started leaking as the condensation pipe they had blown on during their 'tune up' they unfortunately jarred apart and it started to slow leak condensation into our walls!! We gave them a fair chance to take responsibility for this before posting a bad review by sending an email and certified letter to them with repair invoices (costs we incurred) and photos of the flood damage asking for reimbursement (under 3k), but they took zero responsibility. Despite being the last ones to touch the pipe they sent me a lengthy email back blaming the people that installed the furnace five years prior when the house was built, claiming it was installed incorrectly! Can you imagine?! Mind you these people have serviced our furnace the last three years and never once mentioned a faulty installation as part of their duty to let us know if something with our furnace wasn't right!!! I would absolutely not use this company unless you're willing to have your house flooded due to their negligence and then get stuck with the bill ontop of the stress of your brand new home being damaged. What a shame they wouldn't take any kind of accountability. I'll never use them ever again.

The price was reasonable but also the capacitor was going out on my AC unit. Cole brought it in and showed me what it was registering at and didn't pressure me to replace it but wanted to let me know. In the end I did replace it and wasn't a huge expense. All in all, was glad I went with this company. Found them online and was a first time customer. Also, one thing that is really important with us is that a company send a text or some kind of notice to let us know they are coming. We have dogs and we need to know to get things prepped for people to come to our house. So when this is followed through on, it's helpful. Titan did send us a text and some companies say they will but don't.

Minor issues, all were fixed promptly and with great communication between Titan and our builder. Worked so far with a few ladies in the office, and Cole and Cris. Everyone was great, Cole came out to assess the work that needed to be done. He was nice and helpful each time. Had a concern with my furnace on Christmas Eve, the worst time ever to have anything go wrong with the cold temperatures too. Cris was responsive and pleasant to work with and learn from. Came out and took care of the issues I was having and provided me further information for future items and maintenance. I'll continue to use Titan after the one year warranty is over and through the five year warranty for the furnace. I will gladly pay for labor and parts through this company. So far, that's two crucial interactions for a new home owner and I cannot be more pleased and felt it good to share so others know the good experiences with this company. Highly recommend and I'll continue using them for HVAC needs. Thank you!

My friend called the local warehouse with the info off the box and found out how bad he was ripping us off. He ended up taking off $2,000.00 after being confronted but I still paid over 3 grand for a water heater. Fast forward.....Last week that new water heater quits working and the only reason I called him back is because he would have all of the warranty info etc. He said the parts would be under warranty but he would have to charge me labor for the work. BE AWARE! He charges $75.00 "truck charge" and that is per day. If he doesn't finish in one day it's another $75.00 each trip. Then he charges $125.00 an hour! He comes out and tears it apart. He says it has been leaking for years. I questioned how it had been installed. He blew up and was just going to leave me with a torn apart mess. He said " maybe you would like to just install it yourself". I asked if he was serious? He said he needed to go to the warehouse and get a part. When I asked what the price of the repair was going to be he kept saying "I charge BY THE HOUR NOT BY THE JOB!" He comes back and installs the part. He said now, it needs another part and I need to go back to the warehouse. He calls me and says the warehouse was closed so he would be returning tomorrow. So, here comes the second $75.00 truck charge. I guess you need a box truck to pick up a sensor? I told him this was all ridiculous! I do flooring and stated that I would never treat a customer this way. His reply was "well, you run your business how you want and I will run mine like I want to!" In the end he handed me a bill for $880.00 for a repair on a 3 year old water heater that he charged me over 3 grand for. I blew up! He relented and said ok, just for you I will reduce it to $500.00 does that sound ok? I said "no, it doesn't but your in control here". I paid him and told him to leave. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
