They are just trying to make a quick buck. They use poor quality products and don't know how to do an installation correctly. Jay at A Blinds saved us. After meeting with a few companies we chose A-Blinds for the sense of attention to detail and their unique products that we hadn't seen anywhere else. The motors ended up being back ordered, but Jae kept us in the loop and worked hard to rush the order while we were still in town. They were also able to fit us into their busy schedule, which we really appreciated. Communication throughout the process was excellent--responsive, professional, and easy to work with. We had an issue after installation, but they stood behind their work and took care of it. We also have a few touch-ups to complete on our next visit, and we appreciate their willingness to come back and handle those details! Overall, we're happy with the products, service, and communication. It's refreshing to work with a company that cares about their customers and stands behind their work! Mahalo!

There was what I would characterize as a miscommunication regarding our installation. One of the key selling points was the door can be keyed-alike to the Kwik-Set locks on my existing adjacent wood door. I told everyone I talked to - multiple sales people, guy that came to measure, guy that installed - that that is what I want. It is not until after I wait for delivery and the door is installed that they tell me THEY don't do the keying. An obnoxious person, who I'm guessing is the owner, called to tell me that the keying CAN be done but they CAN'T do it. I told him that's what I ordered and he tells me that Gabrielle, who I talked to multiple times, did not say that S&T would do this. He says Gabrielle trains their sales people. He was adamant she did not say anything like that. Somehow he was listening in on our conversations. I told him if she or anyone else had once said the word "locksmith" there would not be this confusion. I ended up hiring a locksmith to come in and complete the installation. As I said, there are others that install the same thing. That one guy made sure I never recommend or do business with them again.

Her husband Julien did the install and was efficient, clean and effortless... very professional. I LOVE my shutters and really, really love my TOP DOWN/BOTTOM UP Hunter Douglas Honeycomb (privacy but good lighting). Had it installed today and tonight confirmed that it is truly privacy from outside, but still gives us some light during the day if we choose to leave shades down/up. Previous shade from another company was supposed to be "privacy" but at night you could see right through... Sarah promised it would be truly privacy and she was spot on! Shutters are incredible! I feel like I'm in a new home! Just awesome! What a great look from old mini blinds that were a pain to clean! I like the fact that Sarah LISTENS to your needs and wants and works with you in giving you the right product at the end. Compared to the other companies, she listened and asked the RIGHT QUESTIONS. Mahalo! I had one other quote that was higher but he didn't listen to my needs, but told me what he thought I needed. I had another quote half her price but I had no idea what he was quoting me... he just gave me a total $$$ quote via text without details....
