I had the worst salon experiences I've ever had here and I'm honestly still in disbelief…read more All I asked for was a very simple set: black gel, almond shape, with tips. Somehow even that went completely wrong. My nails came out crooked, uneven, ridiculously lumpy, oddly shaped, way too thick, still wet in spots, and they cut my skin from filing so aggressively. They were also much shorter than I asked for. What upset me most was the lack of basic care and hygiene. They didn't clean up my cuticles or nail beds at all, and the tools and overall setup felt very unsanitary. I started with one technician, and the work was already sloppy, but I kept trying to "trust the process." Then I was switched to a man (who I believe is the owner), and the experience got worse. He was rude, raised his voice at me, and made extremely inappropriate comments that made me uncomfortable. It was very unprofessional and honestly shocking. I'm not confrontational, so I paid and left, but I was so unhappy that I immediately went to another salon to have them fixed. The new technicians were shocked at how poorly my nails were done and it took them a long time to repair the damage. I know this place seems like an affordable option, but it absolutely isn't worth it. Save yourself the time, money, and discomfort and go somewhere else.

Only reason that I took a star off is because I had to go home and "clean up" my left eyebrow. Many of the hairs were uneven so I had to trim and pluck to match the right one. My eyebrows can be tricky so nothing against the technician. I'm visiting from out of state so threading is mandatory although not having your usual technician can show sometimes. I would come back and give them another chance if I needed to before I leave.

She was polite and although she was the only technician there she gave everyone her undivided attention. My eyebrows are okay. Unfortunately, when I got to my car to look in my mirror, I had dozens of small cuts that were bleeding. I raced home to clean them properly and apply ointment to avoid infection and scarring. The cuts are healing but I am upset that this has happened. I have never experienced this with threading before. And I even more disturbing because I know she saw the blood on her thread and cotton ball and yet she said nothing.

The salon is located in the heart of channelside and they have many talented technicians available to ensure a quick visit. The service menu is expansive and reasonably priced for downtown Tampa. During my pedicure today I'm pretty sure they used a used foot scrubber. Did not give a foot massage. The lady was digging her hand into a jar full of scrub with out changing gloves etc that sits on her cart. All very unsanitary. My 9 year olds nails ended up being $40 which is already crazy enough. But they didn't even clean the dirt from under her nails. Im a extremely faithful client to a business who does good business and work but i unfortunately will no longer be coming back. And as a business owner too- if my complaints are not considered part of the service, don't list it or when trying to retain returning customers going a little extra mile such as cleaning dirt under nails on a child's $40 paint doesn't hurt. Good luck only leaving 2 stars because they do a good french

I happened to see her when I was trying out new salons. I will say that I haven't been to another salon, in this area, that gave me the OVERALL satisfaction that Aria has, so I decided to try them again. I got a new set and pedicure. It was just as good as they normally are. The new set came out great. Though I won't forget the response that I received from them after the previous incident, I am happy enough here to keep coming back for now. It is also great to know that tech is no longer there.

The older woman who did my nails worked a little too fast and aggressive (drilling each nail in a rush and applying too much pressure while drilling). This left my fingers with burns and made 2 of my nails bleed, in which she did apply hydrogen peroxide spray. However, she did end up hurting me with the drill again. My fingers are left VERY sore and I don't see myself coming back or recommending to others. I should've atleast been given a discount. Also these look kind of almond but more like circles.
