Although Laura cuts great hair, she doesn't ever honor appointment times so I will no longer be going to her anymore. Sad to say because she was great but I can't grasp the disregard for clients and their time anymore. read more

Richard has lost his mojo (or he doesn't give a crap anymore) he's cut my curly for over 10 years but the last cut where I asked for a head full of curls...THIS is what I got. Here's the cut from a couple of years ago and I still haven't been able to get it even; but I figured everybody can have a bad day so I gave him a second chance and this is what I got. My bad. read more

My daughter and I got together for Mother's Day this year so I decided while I was in town I would get my hair highlighted to fix the red ish tint to my blonde. Actually to get my hair back to normal and looking nice. Richard helped me decide what to do with my hair. I enjoyed my experience, love my hair, and will definitely be back. I also enjoyed Remi - Thank you! read more

Laura is a great. She knows her stuff. I'm so happy I went to her and will be going back. Highly recommend her for color service as that is what I went for. Had blonde highlights done. read more

This was my 1st and last time to visit this salon. I'm an elderly woman with already short cut, I booked an appointment for a trim and style and got my haircut by Richard (whom never introduced himself). 20 mins later I was told that will be $65. No where online does it state that a woman's short haircut would cost that price. Had I known in advance the pricing I would've walked out! The cut around my ears is longer on one side. Very disappointed- complete rip off. Steer clear of this con artist who calls himself a hair stylist! read more

I went in for a toner, hair cut, and blow dry/iron work. Alexis did a great job! I'll definitely be back for regular visits. Thank you Alexis! read more

Tammy gave me a hair cut/blow dry and did a great job. She listened when I asked her to keep some length and gave me lots of tips to better take care of my hair. I think the only con was the price. My hair was $55 and I found that to be kind of pricey for just the cut and dry. I realize that I didn't stroll into Super Cuts so that's why I will be back again but wanted to notate that so people are aware when you're building your appointment. read more

I would like to nominate Christina for sainthood for absolutely transforming my hair. I have thick but fine hair with a wave that most stylists just don't "get", and she gave me the most beautiful shag haircut that brings out all the hidden volume and makes me feel like a megababe. Run don't walk...she's amazing!! read more

Tami did an excellent job on my hair yesterday. I love it. I plan to keep returning. Thank you

Richard was amazing! I'm growing out a pixie cut and he nailed it! Being a hairstylist myself, it was really amazing to be a spoiled client for the first time in years...thanks Richard! read more

**UPDATE: owner Laura called me offering to refund me and fix my hair and was very apologetic** I've been going to Alexis for about 6 months or so. My first couple appointments were great. I don't know if she stopped caring about me or what. The picture is my haircut last Saturday. I just asked her to cut off the split ends and even it out. I'm sad to say it was in better shape before. Also my hair color is about 2 shades darker than I wanted and my hair is NOT hard to color. I paid $102 for an all over color and cut, which is about $40 more than I paid a few months prior for the same service. I have tried to reach out to them via social media and phone call. They don't seem to care about it too much. So now I'm going to another salon tomorrow to get my hair cut fixed, I have to pay for it, and it's going to be about an inch shorter than I wanted it. I really have been happy up until my last 2 appointments. I'm just not sure why the quality in service changed. This is just unacceptable. read more

I would highly recommend this salon. I've been taking my daughter here for awhile and have always loved the work they do on her very thick hair. I decided to try their extensions. The price was lower than other salons in the area and the quality is outstanding. Laura provided specific guidance on the technique, details on how to care for them, etc. She spent extra time making sure they were perfect. Completely satisfied ! Enjoy ! read more

This was my first time here. I had a hair cut and highlights appt with Kayla. She did a great job! She's personable, so therefore, we talked the whole time. I'm going back for a Keratin treatment in a few weeks. I would highly recommend this Salon. I feel the prices are comparable to other local salons. I think it's by appt only, so expect a few days or so to get in... read more

I'm new to the area and was in desperate need for a hair cut (over 8 inches were cut) it started out fine I asked for a little longer than shoulder length with long blended layers and light framing around the face. I'm unfortunately so upset and my hair is not even nor blended. I tried to give it a few days to see what it would look like. And now I'm out $90 ($75 cut and eyebrow wax plus $15 tip) and will have to go to another salon. Please be careful when deciding to come here. read more

We just moved to Florida from California so we need to find a new hair dresser. My husband found this place on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. At first, there was a messed up with the appointment. Then Richard cleared the air and let Tammy took care of me instead. Tammy was very nice, talkative, and sweet. I had a root touch up and a haircut. The haircut was just so so. I've never had a haircut that simple. It was a layer but she didn't layer it enough. When I made the appointment, the receptionist said $63 for a root touch up. My final bill was $120. So I figured my haircut was $57. The most expensive haircut I've ever had. My husband also had a haircut for $30. The most expensive he's ever had. Our bill was $150 plus $40 tip. Overall, it was an okay place. We tried and we won't come back. They just lost two potential regular customers. read more

Great first experience at this salon with Laura. I've been searching for a stylist who knows color well, and I think I've found her! Laura was very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable about color and cut. She listened to my concerns about my hair and instinctively knew what needed to be done. I was truly impressed! read more

Great service. Tammy was very professional and understood exactly what I wanted done. Highly recommend. Letty

I am a bit late with my review, but it doesn't diminish it in anyway. I was really looking forward to my appointment. I was not disappointed. Richard ( and Laura, owners) were terrific. He applied my color carefully and it looks beautiful. I'm a bit older w,/dark hair and a not so great neck. . He took all precautions. Laura did my cut. Just what I wanted. Stylish and hair looks very shiny. I already have my appointment for November. They're both so friendly, accommodating and professional. I feel I have finally found my salon! Thanks to you both. See you soon. Oh, if anyone has a need for their services do not hesitate. It's a terrific salon. read more

I'm in love with this place! My hairdresser from another salon retired and I needed to find a new hairstylist (and one that was closer to home too.) I scheduled an apt here with Alexis. She is so sweet and very easy to chat with. The vibe here is really relaxing and peaceful. Alexis knew exactly what I wanted with my hair and this is by far, the best hair cut I've had in a long time. I used to have really long hair and over time switched to short hair and I don't think I'll ever go back. Make an apt for this place! A very nice salon, clean and professional. The staff is very nice and the owner is great! Went there to get a Devacut, recommended by the actual Devacurl website. Laura, the owner is certified and she did an AMAZING job. Not only did she walk me through each step but she also gave me great info for my hair going forward. Today is my 3rd day hair since and is STILL defined and frizz free. I recommend her to the curly girls looking for someone that loves your curls as much as you do. read more

Such a wonderful place and beautiful family. I have gone to Alexis three times since I have move to the Tampa area and she leaves me absolutely speechless every time. The care and passion truly shows through their work. Customer service, attentiveness, and hard working are just few of the words to describe Alexis and her family. I will continue coming here and will always refer my family and friends to Shear Impression! Keep up the wonderful work guys! LOOK NO FURTHER PEOPLE! :) read more

Excellent attention to detail and ensuring the color is right without overdoing highlights and damaging hair. I went to richard.

I booked a basic haircut for 5:30pm today. I had never been to this salon before. I received a phone call at 4:35, asking if I could please arrive early, since they had some time freed up. I told them I would leave my house in five minutes and be on my way. I fought my way through rush-hour traffic, arriving at 5:04 PM. No one was at the reception desk. A stylist who was working on someone else's here greeted me, and I told her my name, and that I had an appointment, and they had asked me to come early. She said oh, that's Anastasia. She'll be with you in just a moment, she nodded over towards the direction of two girls who were working on one clients foils, they didn't seem to be in any hurry. I waited another 10 minutes and decided to stand up and stretch my legs. The lady assured me that Anastasia was almost done at 5:26, with no indication that I would be getting in anytime soon, I walked out. Very poor client, relations and communication. Definitely will not be going back and do not recommend! read more

So disappointed in the customer service here. I made an appointment for Dec 1st at 9am a couple days before. I arrived at 9am and NO ONE was here. I even had a confirmation text that I confirmed the day prior for 9am. They aren't even open until 10am. So why are you guys booking and confirming for times the store isn't even open? So I waited and came back in at 9:55am to see if I could get just a trim for the time they open at 10am. JUST A TRIM. The guy at the counter Richard I think his name is didn't seem sorry about the situation at all that he wasted my time. Even tried to tell me the appointment was for yesterday. But I have my confirmation text message that says Dec 1st for 9am... He then tells me "Well I have an appointment for someone else at 10am so can you come back at 11am?" Seriously.. I get other people have appointments. BUT I had an appointment!! Besides I have a flight this am so no I can't do a different time. Trash customer service from Richard. Go somewhere else. read more

Today was my first visit to Shear Impressions Salon. I have to say I was very impressed with Laura. She listened to me during our consultation, she offered a variety of suggestions on how to fix the mishaps of several other hair stylists. She is very knowledgeable, and she knew what I really wanted. I walked out of the salon feeling like I found a friend and the best place to get my hair done for now on. I would suggest Laura if you are looking for a great hair stylist, who listens to you, make helpful suggestions on your new look. Definitely going back, beautiful salon, clean and everyone is friendly! I made a great choice! read more

Very nice place but I was disappointed I asked for a haircut show them a picture of what I wanted and I got something totally different, super short, uneven. My recommendation is if you as a stylist don't know or are not sure about a haircut request just be honest. read more

Made a last minute yesterday, and I was able to go in and work with Chaena. I came in and discussed what kind of haircut I wanted. We settled on a long undercut kinda pixie hairstyle. I went and got my haie shampooed by one of the front desk workers (I think her name was Ashley, not 100%) she was a lot of fun to talk to while getting mt hair washed. Dries my hair a bit and then went over and started getting my hair cut. We ended up talking about hair color, bands and concerts. Chaena was a great listener and is amazing at her craft! A little volumizer, and quick blow dry later, I swe my cut as she has envisioned it. The staff was amazing here, and I am defiantly coming back for my next cut again. read more

Amazing, amazing salon! I have very thick, long hair that had damage to the ends. I showed Richard a picture of what I was thinking and told him to do what he thought was best. He did an incredible job!! He spent so much time making sure every strand was perfect. The price was incredibly reasonable considering the amount of detail he gave to my hair. I'm amazed and I feel like I finally have found a salon that knows what they're doing! Will definitely be back. read more

This is probably my new favorite salon! It took me years before getting my hair cut cause I am hesitant to have it cut by someone and then regret it after. This salon put my trust to the test. I gave it a shot and I walked out satisfied and not feeling 50/50 about my hair! Thank you for having me and styling my hair! Will come back for sure! read more

Is an okay salon but they don't care about the virus nor do they do anything to protect their clients. I was there for an appointment and nobody was wearing a mask nor did they disinfect after services were finished. When I went the air conditioner was not working. I was sweating so much and wearing a mask I asked the owners (very unfriendly), to cancel my appointment and to call me when it was fixed. It seems this and me wearing a mask pissed them off. They never called me. It seems they don't want clients that believe there is an epidemic. Very irresponsible. I like looking good but I rather be healthy than having a good cut. read more
