Also over a week old!
Michele G.

This place is wonderful. We were staying in the downtown area for a concert. We decided to get a pedicure. The employees are very nice and professional. We didn't feel rushed. The temperature was comfortable not too cold. The prices were comparable to where we live, around $35. They did charge extra $7 for the extra work on my feet. I'm a server and have calluses. I have been home for over a week and working. My toes still look great!

Jenny absolutely SLAYED my nails!!! She was so diligent and meticulous about each nail, leaving no cuticle untouched and not a single hangnail in sight. She shaped my nails so well that she took my short, stubby, sausage-looking fingers and turned them into long, skinny, model-looking hands! I was just looking to kill some time before boarding my cruise ship, and the entire staff was so friendly and accommodating by allowing me to come in with my luggage. I ended up walking out with the best manicure I've ever had in my life! Highly considering moving to Tampa just to be a regular at this nail salon!

Unfortunately my dip powder did not turn out well, within a day the clear coat that they put on top was scratched and peeling and by the 5th day one of the tips was chipped. I did make the mistake of going an hour before closing, so I could tell the nail tech was rushing through it. But ultimately I would have preferred that they tell me to come back the next day instead of been given the sloppy, rushed service that I got.

I got a gel manicure with cat eye and while my nails turned out good, they were very harsh on my nails .The place was not like the pictures and service was okay. the lady did not know how to do cat eye it so someone else had to do it.

I never get my nails done but I've gone here twice now and Julie is amazing! So sweet and nice and does exactly what I ask and takes her time. :)

I've been to Channelside Nail Salon twice, and both times, I've been really happy with the quality of the service and the cleanliness. Jah Gold was so kind to me while I had my a mani and pedi done. She goes above and beyond to make sure your nails look great. I highly recommend this nail salon!

This was my first time getting my nails done at Channelside Nail Salon and Minh did a wonderful job! She listened to everything I wanted regarding length and shape. She was also absolutely great to converse with during my DIP powder manicure.

Nails chipping and look grown out

*one day & $110 later* dip mani & regular pedicure, while they got me in immediately and had two techs working on me the entire process felt very rushed and I left with lack luster results. Nails already chipping off and look grown out.

I haven't had a pedicure in almost 2 years due to foot issues and finances. I've got a major trip coming up and figured I should get one since I'll be doing a lot of walking in new shoes. I was super excited when I found this spot right next to my gym. I planned my whole day around coming and getting a pedicure and finally treating myself. I looked them up online to make sure they'd be open. Their website is gorgeous and you can make an appointment online, so clearly I think it's going to be nice and classy. I chose the Signature Pedicure after convincing myself that I deserved a little extra pampering and that $10 more wouldn't hurt. I walked in and it's your typical tiny over booked nail salon. Okay, no big deal, it's not the end of the world. I was a little early so I chose my color and stood and waited (because there really is no room for a waiting area). They told me to sit in one of the chairs and since they have the pedicure massage chairs, I was fine with this. So I was early for my appointment. And then my time came. And went. About 10 minutes after my appointment time they finally came over to set me to soak. Cool, fine, whatever, I'm on my second circuit with the massage chair. My phone is running low on battery and the infomercial that was on was terrible but 10 minutes after that, I'm finally getting my toes done and yay for that. She hands me their little booklet with all the options for pedicures. I had booked a Signature online but apparently what you book means nothing. So I didn't even really look at it, I handed it right back and said I was getting the Signature. Okay, no problem. There's a lot of steps but I don't know what goes into all the types, I just knew I was gonna get hot towels (my face part) and a leg massage. Over an hour after I walked in, I'm sitting there getting dried. I got up to leave and realized I hadn't even paid yet. I honestly feel now like I should have just kept walking but I stopped at the counter and she gave me my total. A total $20 more than I had anticipated. I asked if that was for the Signature pedicure. "Yes, yes. I used the volcano on you." ...wait. Huh? "Yes, you pointed at the volcano so you got the volcano, it's $55." I didn't point at anything. I made an appointment. I verbally told you what I wanted. I didn't even look at the booklet. The only reason I didn't throw a fit is because I'm anxious in situations like this and she did perform the service she charged me for so I felt obligated. So now I'm out more than I had intended. I remember now why I almost never go to nail salons anymore. I hate being taken advantage of and Channelside Nails is as bad as any for it, apparently.

Julie & Jenny are my favorites. They do a great job and I never feel rushed. They always listen and don't try to upsell your service!

Finding a good nail salon is so hard! I have been coming to this place for several months now and every time I come in, it is something different. Over the course of the last two months or so, every time I come in here I feel like I am an inconvenience to the staff or that they're trying to rush me out of the door. This is just a few of the instances where I have been in and the owner has been beyond unprofessional. It now makes absolute sense why when I visit, most times, it is a ghost town. The owner constantly would try to get me to do my nails at the same time that I am getting my pedicure and when I tell her that I would like to do the two services separately and that I do not enjoy getting my nails done while I am doing my pedicure, that seems to set her off. There has even been an instance (in the middle of doing my nails I might add), that she stopped doing my nails to call and argue with her daughter about coming into the store to work. And not just a polite conversation, but her actually getting loud on the phone, in front of myself and other customers. Today was my last and final attempt at salvaging that business relationship. I brought in the nail that broke, to show her why it had broke. This was the second time I had to come in within ONE WEEK! I tried to show her that the nail was filed down way too thin and ultimately was the cause of the nail breaking to begin with. She just brushed it off as nothing and didn't even choose to acknowledge me. She in fact, ignored me and said nothing, but instead decided to speak in Vietnamese so I could not understand her, to the other staff to bad mouth me. If you're looking for a nice salon, this is NOT it! There are far more other talented nail techs out there who would NEVER treat their customers the way this salon does. I feel bad for the rest of the staff who have to deal with such an angry woman on a daily basis. In addition to this review, I have also filed a formal complaint against this business with the Better Business Bureau -- for poor service and for using expired product. Take a look at the glass case by the door next time you are in. Their "fungus treatment" they sell, expired YEARS ago! I will not be returning. They have officially lost mine & my husband's business.

Paid 65 dollars for a basic gel pedicure didn't even massage me nothing. My toes are chipping and not sure why but the clear coat looked goods dirty asked for a basic full set. Which is 55 online. Charger me 75 dollars. They don't look smooth at all way to much glue under my nails asked for a pink she painted them clear then proceeded to talk about me as I told her not that color. Horrible service

On Thursday 11/12/25 I went in for a Brazilian wax and an armpit wax. Overall my initial experience…read morewas great. Front desk and aesthetician (Amber) both treated me well and seemed to have great costumer service. About 24 hours after my wax I noticed some very irritated spots on my bikini line. I followed the healing instructions given to me by Amber, assuming because I have sensitive skin maybe my healing would be a longer process. Day three following the wax I woke up to severe marks with severe pain. Researching it myself it seemed to be a burn. At this point I was not upset with Amber or the company, things happen and I was very understanding. I simply want to make sure I was not going to scar and was also wanting advice on how to treat it because I was in pain. I called the store with the intentions of asking the professional for advice and guidance on how to handle this. I am not an aesthetician and have zero knowledge on this process. First the receptionist, was kind letting me know Amber had left for the day but she will call me first thing in the morning. I was shocked when the receptionist told me to "treat it like any other burn" feeling as if she blew me off and did not show any compassion I told her I was upset with how she spoke to me. She quickly apologized saying she was not educated on this and that she did not mean to come across that way. The next day I got a call from Amber, she immediately was defensive telling me that "my wax was not even hot that day" and "this has never happened to me, so I'm don't know how this happened" I told her I was simply looking for guidance because this was very painful and I was concerned about scaring. Amber responded with "I guess put neosporin on it and avoid tight clothing." She not one time asked to see photos or even to see me. I then began to get emotional, and told her I was very disappointed because all I wanted was her help through this. She responded with "I told you to put neosporin on it, I'm not sure what else you want me to say" I let her know as the professional I wish she could assist me in helping the injury she caused me. I paid for a service and got hurt, I think any company or licensed professional would show compassion and want to help the client they injured. I was very upset so I said ok thank you and ended the call. Still in pain and visually very unhappy with how my body looked I contacted another licensed aesthetician, simply for advice. The first thing this professional asked me was to see a picture so she could help figure out what was going on. She then informed me it does not look like a burn but instead something called "lifting" as well as bad bruising. She talked me through how this can happen to someone and let me know how to treat it and that it should only go on for another 6 days or so. I am so disappointed in "Brazilian beekini wax" as a company. I am not upset about the injury because things happen, but I am upset with how I was spoken too and how there was zero compassion and zero care for my body or safety. Instead they gaslit me making me feel stupid and as if it was my fault that my skin reacted this way. I never once asked for a refund, I was even going to return I simply was looking for help and care from the person responsible and the licensed professional that I trusted with my body. I tried to reach out to owner/manager privately and not run to help, however I have been ignored. I truly hope they don't make anyone else feel this way. These are photos of my body 3 days after the wax. It is currently 7 days and the redness is down but skin is peeling and severe itch. I'm hoping there is now scaring, and I'm left very disappointed and let down.

Well, fast forward into my 40s, I start to realize that I need a little more help in looking my best and start to see the value of getting them. Between working night shift, not getting enough sleep, and just everyday stress in general, it really starts to show on my skin and I don't quite bounce back the way I used to, so facials are a great way to help brighten my complexion. I was introduced to Glomour Medispa thanks to a yelpie event (because I can always count on Yelp to introduce me to some of the best experiences) and I was so impressed with the service and results of the most basic facial, that I decided to come back. Angela is great to work with, easy going, and listened to me about what my needs and goals were for my facial. (A big plus is that she's a fellow RN, so I know she REALLY understands the specific in the self-care department for people like me, lol). She helps but me at ease and explains every step of what we're doing throughout the process. Facials are a nice blend of relaxation, aromatherapy, and some "me-time" meditation when I'm letting the masks settle into my skin. I've getting facials semi-regularly since then. Nice little treat and you really see the benefits the next day. Sure, it's a luxury, but I've only got one face, so I may as well take care of it.
