I ordered the caprese sandwich with spinach instead of tomato and added tempeh. I was disappointed that the tempeh was smoked. A different flavor would have been better (pesto, plain). We all enjoyed the sandwiches. The ambiance was casual with music themed artwork on the walls. Tables were available inside and out. There was one high chair for our baby. Very convenient. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed.

On our way, we were hoping for an excellent lunch, and Harvest Moon deli had good reviews, so we figured it was worth a try. The menu is a cute idea - themed around music (and presumably the name of the deli itself is after Neil Young, but not positive). There are a lot of options to choose from, but I landed on the chicken salad sandwich just because it's a classic and I was really in the mood for some. My sandwich was a disappointment. The bread was somewhat dry (especially the crust), the chicken salad itself was also dry as well. It was not flavorful, either. My husband's club sandwich had too much mayonnaise on it, so he ended up donating some of his mayo to my dry sandwich cause. (I didn't try his sandwich, but since his was toasted, he didn't experience the same dry bread issues). The deli seating area and bathroom was clean, and the staff were friendly and the service was fast. I probably would give this another try someday if we needed to have lunch on the way up again, and I'd get something entirely different to compare.

I thought cheese would be weird on this so I asked for it without cheese. I'm also not a huge fan of mayo but knew this sandwich needed it so I got it with light mayo. This was so damn good. Perfect ratio of all ingredients and was a thick boy! High quality ingredients all around (stuffing, thick cut turkey, cranberry sauce, bread) The country bread was also nice and soft, perfect bread for this sandwich. I went right in on a Sunday afternoon, placed my order and was out in under 5 minutes. Sandwiches did seem a little higher priced, but for the location and high quality, I see why.
