Large Greek pizza
Dawn S.

The food is always fresh, hot and delicious! Greek pizza is the absolute best, along with their Greek salad/homemade dressing, stuffed shells and lasagna (which both come with a side salad). Their baklava is over cooked but everything else has kept us coming back for years! (Lg pizzas come with a free liter of soda) Family business and always pleasant. Check it out!

Excellent foods! Love their grilled chicken salad and my basalmic vinegar dressing was home made like all their dressings. House pizza was great tasting as well. Plenty of toppings and crust was crunchy and baked just right. Hubby had a turkey club sandwich and he said it was a good sandwich. And their fries was delicious and crunchy. My family love their wings and said it was crunchy and great!

Garlic bread was really good. Pizza was nice and hot. One of the only places in the area open later. Salad was basic.

Great flavor with perfect crust and fillings. YUMM!!!

I am very impressed. I stopped in to get a small calzone to go. Angelo's is located close to the airport so I wasn't sure how good the pizza would be. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the staff, and the calzone. The 'house' special was amazing. The small calzone is enough for 2 people. The dough is not to thick and let's the fillings enhance flavor. I don't usually give 5's and taking this 5lb small calzone to go, just deserves a five star.

Half Greek , half veggie pizza

Wanted to check out a new pizza spot. This one did not disappoint! The pizza crust/ dough wasn't too thick or thin and cooked nicely. The toppings were all tasty and I personally enjoyed the Greek slices the best since the feta was tasty, and I love kalamata olives. When we picked up the pies we saw some other food in the restaurant and it all looked tasty too so I'm sure we'll be back again.

Grilled chicken sandwich

I usually go to Angelo's for pizza. Today I opted for something a little lighter and got a chicken sandwich, grilled with barbecue and hot sauce on the side. They must have forgotten to update the prices, because the sandwich only cost about six bucks! Once again, Angelos did not disappoint!

Was good years ago, haven't been there in awhile. Good late night pizza, can be chaotic the later it gets.

We dropped in for an early dinner on a weeknight at the end of October. The temperature outside…read morewas about 44 degrees. The temperature in the dining room was about the same and despite a large number of customers wearing their coats at the tables, the staff did nothing to remedy the situation. The place was clean and cute, dog-themed and decorated for Halloween, and the menu is basically all burgers, salads and sandwiches. We split a classic naan breadsticks, which turned out to be a naan flatbread pizza that tasted and looked like a crappy frozen pizza from a gas station. We also shared a classic cheeseburger that was pretty good; definitely above average and comparable in taste and size to Smashburger. The men's room was clean, service was okay, and that's about it. Prices were comparable to other places in the area, but given the uncomfortable HVAC, waitress upsell, and lousy, inauthentic naan we won't be going back.

It's a small bar with excellent food. The menu offers extensive smash burgers, yummy appetizers…read more and drinks. With about 8 tables, it is small for a restaurant. It is a narrow space, but it seemed like a larger one. The food was excellent. I got a gouda burger and ended up taking half of it home. The app filled me up--four nice sized egg rolls stuffed with reuben ingredients. Yummy! The only sticking point I had was the unfriendly service. When I thank a person for every little thing they do, I kind of expect at least a smile. Not happening. Perhaps if I had bought alcohol it would have been friendlier? That kind of is off-putting. Nonetheless, great food.

Once again, Yelpers, you helped me out in finding a great hoagie (ahem, sub) place. We got some…read moresubs for lunch while sitting in bliss at Schoodic Point in Acadia National Park again this week. The owner, Diane, thought she recognized us, but I told her she was mistaken. She then told us the short story of taking over the establishment which used to be next door run by a gentleman for upwards of 60 years. She kept his menu and added to it. Their subs are slightly different in that the meat is on top, and the fillers in the rolls. The wife picked out the #7 - Tourney Time Turkey which has veggies, American cheese, Turkey Chunks, Pepper (Green), and Pickles. I chose the #6 - Blu Ox Roast Beef which has the same toppings but also with Horseradish or Bleu Cheese. All the sandwiches I believe also have raw onions. However, since they are made to order, they can customize your sandwich to your liking. Diane also recommended some homemade macaroni salad or possibly the soup of the day, which today she called "Thanksgiving Leftovers." She said she just made it this morning, and had lots of turkey, potato, and other stuff (but not real leftovers!) We both went with that "soup." She also suggested the homemade croutons instead of crackers to go with it, and we also chose them. She threw in a baggies full of the croutons, and we were quickly on our way. We thankfully avoided the seagulls in Schoodic, and had the soup in the car as it was slightly raining. OMG, this was really a Thanksgiving Gumbo with a lot of flavor and pep. The homemade croutons threw it over the top. I could have just had a few more servings of this instead of the sub. After a couple hours overwatching the Schoodic version of Thunder Hole, we had our subs. My wife and I were a little surprised at the foot long rolls they came on as they had the consistency of being like a hot dog roll instead of what we're used to. The turkey chunks were plentiful and tasty. They are also made daily as they cook whole chickens and turkey breast to cut up for their foods. I could have used more meat and fillers on mine, but it was still quite good. And the seagulls got zip. So 5+ stars for the Thanksgiving Leftover Soup (Gumbo), and 4 for the subs. I'm rounding up due to the very friendly service and I always like to support local businesses when possible. I think there's a bazillion Subways in Maine, but only one The Legacy Sandwich. I'm going with The Legacy Sandwich. $30 for the two subs and two soups. Well worth it.

Owner told me to come back the next day, and he'd buy me one as I had traveled from Presque Isle to try this sandwich. Came back the next day and he stuck to his word.
