    Scott S.

New mobil wood fired pizza place in Bangor. Right now they are sitting on the Bangor Waterfront and are only opened for lunch and when an event is going on at the Waterfront. Pizza is really good

Delicious pizza. My favorite in z Bangor. I really miss their storefront but still love their waterfront food truck.

I ate half of the container and almost did a happy dance. The chicken shawarma was moist and well seasoned. Hummus was warm and fresh. Omg it was delicious. The salad and rice were crazy good. My favorite thing in the bowl was the toum, a white sauce redolent with garlic. I could wear it as a perfume behind each ear. It was that spectacular. We got Dream cookies, which were cardamom flavored with rose petals--which were so tasty! All in all, a good meal at a reasonable price which I will crave again and again.

Food was okay. We are huge fans of Persian/Lebanese/Levant food. Paid 80 bucks for 3 shawarma,…read moretoum, and fries. Being used to eating this as street food and often...the value was just not worth it. Missed a lot flavor and texture from what we were expecting. Hate to come down on a small business that is trying to bring new, beautiful flavors to the Mainer palate...but meh. I would be happy to pay 15 bucks for a shawarma with a side of fries and dipping sauces... but 10 bucks for toum???? The a la carte pricing has me reconsidering. If the prices and bright flavors reflected more of what we used to, we would be more inclined to return. That said, the service was nice...wish there were actual private tables. We were expecting a sit down place.

EDIT: The owner responded to my google review (see picture) and it speaks volumes. Rather than…read moreapologizing for their cook openly yelling at a group of customers who spent $500, management has chosen to report my review and make excuses about needing "reservations" for a food truck. Being busy does not excuse verbal hostility. Multiple people in our group of 10 left reviews because we all experienced the same unacceptable behavior. Future traveling groups beware: if you order a lot of food here, expect great food but a side of absolute hostility from the kitchen--and an owner who will defend it. ---- Original Review - I was part of the group of 10 that stopped by this spot recently before heading to the airport (which is conveniently just 5 minutes away). It is truly a shame to leave a 1-star review because the food itself was excellent, and the lady taking our orders up front was incredibly sweet and accommodating. When we placed our order, she kindly informed us that the food would be coming out in batches, which we completely understood and were happy to accommodate. However, the entire experience was soured by the cook in the back. As we went up to pick up our food batches, he began making audible, angry comments from the kitchen--clearly directed at us as customers and explicitly meant for us to hear. When we later politely checked in on the remainder of the order, he openly yelled and cursed at my friends, visibly angry that a large group had ordered food. I have personally worked in high-paced, high-stress environments--including busy retail and fast paced healthcare--so I understand firsthand how overwhelming a sudden "surge" can be. But professional composure is essential. We weren't upset about a 25-minute wait for a large, $500 order--we were happy to wait for good, fresh food. The issue was the verbal and open hostility from the kitchen. If you are traveling in a group to or from the airport, be aware that simply being hungry and ordering food might be treated as a major inconvenience here. It was a very disappointing end to an otherwise joyous group trip. I truly hope this feedback can be taken constructively so that future traveling groups can enjoy your great food in a positive atmosphere.

LOBSTER WAS COLD and not good and fries were greasy, undercooked and cold. After waiting 45 minutes for 1 lobster roll I nicely asked: Does it normally take this long? The cook charged at the open window and started screaming and yelling at me not to complain. This was at least our 8th lobster pound/truck in Maine in 7 days and by far the worst AVOID IT!
