I had some questions about mountain biking and asked for some recommendations around the area. They…read moreabsolutely nailed it! We were able to walk in and rent two mountain bikes for a day which totaled about $210. They luckily had our sizes but I would definitely call ahead to be sure. They definitely have some pricy stuff but everything here seems super high quality. They also had a pretty good sale (25-33% off) going on while we were there! I know some locations also have secondhand sections. Everyone I talked to was super helpful and willing to help me out. Go visit them!

I took it to Sports Basement hoping that Sam was working and he was! He greeted me by name and asked how he could help. I explained my situation and he noted that they were pretty booked out but he would try to get it in because he knows the bike is used on the weekends. He called me 30min later letting me know that one of my spokes was broken and I agreed to the much needed repair. I got a text an hour later saying the bike was ready. I was expecting to pay $100 or more for the repairs when I came in Saturday morning, but was pleasantly surprised on how reasonable the total was. Sam was there again to explain what he found and adjusted. Incredible customer service!

It wasn't the color i was looking for though.

Rented ski gear here for my family. My rented boots were 6 year old pieces of junk and my son's…read moreskis were 18 years old! Based on advertised prices I thought it was cheaper than Sports Basement. When picking up the gear they add on an extra 10% for mandatory insurance and then charge sales tax. Sports Basement charges neither of these fees making Old Town more expensive. I wish I had just gone to Sports Basement. Sports Basement rents gear that is either current model year or max 2 years old with very knowledgeable employees and at the same or cheaper prices! I tried to support local, but I will not make that mistake again and will exclusively rent from Sports Basement.

I stopped by this shop at 10:3AM to complete a private party transfer, and the experience was…read moreincredibly disappointing. The store was empty, yet I was told they wouldn't process the transfer without an appointment--and they're apparently booked out until June. What made it worse was the complete lack of effort or customer service. There was no attempt to help, no flexibility, and not even a basic effort to engage as a customer. I was fully prepared to make additional purchases (like a case and ammo for my new firearm), but no one even asked. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. If you're looking for a shop that values your time or business, this probably isn't it.

I recently visited this shop and was impressed right away by the size, layout, and wide variety of…read moreproducts available. They have a great selection and plenty to browse through, which makes the experience enjoyable for collectors of all levels. However, I was a little disappointed that I didn't see any single card boxes to dig through--only sealed blaster and hobby boxes behind the counter. It's possible I missed them, but from what I could tell, singles weren't readily available. The biggest concern for me was the pricing. As a newer collector, I was already a bit nervous about choosing the right boxes, and seeing some items marked significantly higher than retail made me hesitant to buy. For example, the most recent Topps NBA Holiday Box was priced at $60, even though we had just purchased the same box at GameStop for $35 and it's still widely available at that price. Since it doesn't seem to be a rare or hard-to-find product, the markup felt a little excessive. On the positive side, the customer service was genuinely great. The employee who helped us took the time to talk with us and seemed truly willing to assist with anything we needed. That part of the experience definitely stood out in a good way. Overall, while I appreciated the variety and the friendly service, the pricing made me hesitant to spend money during this visit. I may do a bit more research and give the shop another try in the future, but based on this first impression, I wasn't fully comfortable making a purchase yet.

Raul helped everyone in the store and was very attentive, despite being alone for the whole floor. I purchased a pump but later realized I needed only the needles. When I returned same day, he happily processed an exchange and sold me the needles I needed. Wonderful experience. Excellent for soccer fans... lots of Mexico and USA gear along with club teams and the favorites. They can also put names/numbers on the back of jerseys and likely other gear.
