After moving into our fixer upper, my husband and I experienced a bit of a plumbing emergency. When draining water from our bath tub, it backed up into our toilet. When I went into our basement, our line to the sewage was leaking water. I was referred to Dynamic Drains by our realtor and gave Braiden a call. He came right out and after assessing the issues, gave me a quote. It turned out our problem was way worse than it first appeared to be. The previous owners had never cleaned the lines from our home to the sewers and tree roots about 3 ft in length were clogging the drains under our house. This company replaced our Orangeburg home sewer. Though we were not having issues we'd been warned that our 65 y/o pipe was destined to fail, as had happened to our neighbor's years ago. Because ours hadn't failed, Dynamic Drains (and two other companies) said the could replace this without digging up our yard. This required them digging a hole at the sewer line beginning, at our house, and another to uncover the other end where it connects to the city's line, in the street. A "pipe bursting" technique is then employed - explanatory videos are online - and a new pipe is placed without digging up our yard (and possibly killing tree roots in the way). This took them a couple days of work. The Dynamic Drain owners, and star employee Caleb, are reassuringly competent (as was my impression of the representatives of 2 other, more costly, companies we had evaluate our sewer line). My wife and I are very pleased with their abilities to complete this complex job on time, with just a few hours downtime for our sewer, taking care of the necessary permits, and rapidly passing inspections, and excellent clean up read more

I had a shower/tub faucet that were dripping uncontrollably and the time had come to call in the experts. I couldn't be more pleased with how this went because it could have been a major, expensive repair due to the age of the existing faucet assembly (pre-1998) and the fact that my "vintage" Milan home has plaster walls and there was no access panel to the shower/tub plumbing lines. I was expecting to have a full replacement of the faucet and a new hole in the wall behind the bathroom to deal with. It's also our only bathroom and couldn't be out of commission for long. I made an appointment and Braiden, the owner and master plumber, was able to come in a very reasonable time and arrived exactly when he said he would. After assessing the situation, he decided that he could probably replace the "guts" of the existing assembly rather that deal with the cost and hassle of cutting the wall and hooking up an entire new unit. He got on the phone with Price Pfister and after sharing photographs and descriptions of the old, obsolete unit, he got parts on order that replace the obsolete versions. He put everything back together so we could use the shower waiting for the shipment, then scheduled me again right away once the parts arrived. He got the parts in, which included all new external hardware, and right now, it looks and works like a brand new faucet. He even advised me that this was probably a better solution than a new unit because the older parts that remained in service were a high quality that isn't often the case with the new items sold by the big box stores. My final cost was $285 which included a $30 discount I received by getting a coupon from their website. It's also important to note that all of the replacement parts from Price Pfister were free except for the rush shipping. It's good to know that these manufacturers often guarantee parts and provide replacements for life. I would never have thought of that, but thanks to Dynamic Drains, now I know! They could have charged me for parts themselves and I would never have known -- a great example of honesty and customer service. I would highly recommend Dynamic Drains and appreciate all the hard work Braiden and his colleague Bob did to resolve my issue in the least expensive, least invasive manner possible. That saved me hundreds of dollars and is exactly why I chose to go to a local independent provider and keep my money in Milan. They could easily have given up on the easy fix and led me down the path to a major home repair ... but they didn't. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any plumbing or drain needs that arise. read more
