We've had Dynamic Drains out three times in the span of a couple of weeks (when it rains it pours, right?) and they were great each time! First visit: our 100+ year old home has been dishwasherless since we moved in 13 years ago (mo one made the move to install one before us and we kept putting it off until this year). Years ago we had had some drains and lines replaced and asked the previous plumbers we hired for that job to get it ready for dishwasher, too. So we always thought it was ready to go once we picked one out. Came to find, day of delivery, that they did NOT do this, so we had to call someone to come do it. Enter Dynamic Drains. We were able to secure an appointment quickly and when they arrived they were friendly and professional, installing a beautiful new water line to feed our new, dormant dishwasher the freshwater it craved. The dishwasher needed a bit of finessing into the space we had carved out so they didn't hook that part up, but the line looked and worked great. Eventually we had a handyman come and do the rest and it's been working beautifully since. SECOND VISIT: The soup incident. Some leftover soup was dumped into the sink and caused a clog. Enter Dynamic Drains, just a few weeks later, with a snake to clean it out. The technician then (Chris I believe was his name) was really friendly, kind, and diligent. He ran several sinkfuls of water through the snaked drain to make sure it was going as it should and it went downstairs to make sure there were no leaks or drips. After the drain was moving again we also realized that our disposal was dead. Not sure if that's why the soup clogged or if the clog killed it but either way... VISIT THREE: Tech couldn't fix the disposal since we didn't have a replacement and he didn't quite have time in his schedule to get us in in that moment. All good, didn't expect that! Amazingly right after he left my husband saw a great disposal on sale at Costco and he snatched it up. Called Dynamic Drains to schedule a follow up and they said they could come a few days later. Great! THEN, about an hour later, another plumber called and said they had some time in their schedule and could come by then. I was out at the time but my husband navigated that with them and by the time I got home we had a new, purring garbage disposal properly installed. And since it was considered same day they waived the additional appointment fees. YES! We still have a few other things we need done, new faucets in the kitchen and bathroom in particular, and luckily Dynamic Drains does that (and then some!) too. Braiden prioritized our emergency hot water heater repair. Jay came out same day & replaced the old, bursting hot water heater. He had to deal with whole home hot water circulating pipes, old PVC, no expansion tank & getting the tanks up & down our long flight of stairs. He got it all done, cleaned up & was gone same day! Completed a sewer line inspection, provided a link with a video with thorough commentary. Got us the information we needed during a home inspection process efficiently and effectively. A positive about using Dynamic Drains is that they can be a one stop shop. Not only do they perform the inspection, but should there be any need for action, they'll be able to recommend the approach for resolution, quote the service, and could complete the service as well. (Versus some other inspectors who will just tell you what needs to be done.) read more

My photo studio is in the lower level of my home and after a very heavy rain the storm drain backed up creating a water issue shutting my business down. On the recommendation of a couple of my clients I called Dynamic Drains. They came out to evaluate the problem and we set an appointment for a crew to address the issue. The guys showed up right on time and the crew of two dug up the area where the problem showed up and traced it to the source, replacing old collapsed pipes with PVC and routing out the existing system to clear the blockage. It was a mess but could have been worse since the crew worked as much as possible off the main area. I have used them several times. I haven't had really any problems with them. They are pricey, but what plumber isn't? There is a wait now. Usually it seems like when I call it's about a 3 weeks wait. I have no problem with that because most of my problems are not an emergency. If I want someone sooner, then I have called other plumbers. ONLY reason for the 4 star is the service fee or trip charge. $75!! It used to be $40-$50. I understand gas has gone and so has everything, but I live in Saline and your business is in Saline. How much gas are you wasting? I know you are coming from a different job somewhere else, but since there is a 3 week wait, why not schedule Saline jobs on a certain day, Ann Arbor another, etc. Maybe they do that? I don't know, but it would save them costs and maybe pass that on to your customers especially the ones that use you all the time. Just a thought. We had a unique problem with our sewer line. Someone (not Dynamic) dropped a clean-out cap down the clean-out pipe and sewage kept backing up into our basement. Yesterday, Jerry from Dynamic Drains came out to my duplex to install a new hot water heater. Because the old one was in such bad shape and had been installed and maintained wrong in the first place, it was the worst job he'd ever encountered. But even with all of the challenges that took 5-6 hours , Jerry also fixed a screeching kitchen sink faucet (without me even asking him to) and replaced an old shower head with an upgrade that he happened to have in his truck. I recently replaced my water heater in Ann Arbor, MI from this provider. Service is good but expensive compared to other companies. The company charged me a separate trip fee of 75$ even though I took the full service to replace my water heater which should have been deducted from my final estimate. Other companies doesn't charge a trip fee if you take the full service from them. read more

We contacted Dynamic Drains on a Monday morning about a clogged pipe that prevented us from using the kitchen or upstairs bathrooms in our 60-year-old house. The phone person was polite and friendly; however we were informed that the soonest they could be available would be Friday and were offered the option to be placed on their wait list for "soonest available," which we did. We also proceeded to contact other service providers and was informed of similar wait times. We were very happy two hours later when Dynamic Drains called and scheduled a service appointment for that afternoon. Our technician, Jay, was polite and evaluated the condition of our pipes after discussing what created the blockage. Jay was careful to minimize the water and mess that come with a drain repair and had our drains working in under an hour. He also addressed an old pipe fitting that would have caused a future problem. For less than $300 dollars, we were in great shape.
