Arrived in time, fixed our well, and were respectful about it. I would definitely use them again, although I hope O don't have to!

Justin and Ian handled the well/leaking pipe issue.

The service was excellent. We had a leak from the well piping into the basement. When they were notified they came right out and fixed the problem. The whole team was fantastic .... we've been dealing with them for 50 years and will continue to do so. Justin, Ian, Matt. We're all fabulous. They care about the community and their customers.

    It's a geyser !!!!

I can't think of a better way to describe the caring this company shows, the urgency they gave to our dilemma and the professionalism they displayed every step of the way than to repeat every good thing already said on here. Our 45 year old well died on a Friday, by Thursday afternoon we had a geyser and by Friday afternoon I had the best shower I've ever taken. I interacted with 9 different employees between the office, the diagnostics, the drilling and the hook up process' and each one of them gets 100 stars from me. They made a worrisome and unexpected problem so much easier to work through. I understand and agree with their costs and pricing and they send a very specific, line by line quote and work with you every step of the way. This is a major expense for homeowners. Very much needed when the time comes for a new well and Cribley Drilling understands that. They get all the stars allowed. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so very much.

CGC asked for my review via email, so here it is…read more We purchased a home within the last year that has a Kinetico water softener system, and because of that we're essentially required to use CGC Home Services since they're the only authorized dealer/servicer for Kinetico. We've had two visits from their technicians and both left us extremely disappointed. Our first visit was because an auxiliary tank on our water softener was draining continuously, likely due to a malfunctioning float valve. The system is quite old (original to the home), but the technician did not seem familiar with it or understand the purpose of any of the additional tanks beyond the two softener tanks. Without testing our water, he immediately recommended replacing the entire system, which would have cost us about $10,000. At the time, we had another plumber at the house from a different company running a gas line for our generator. He overheard CGC's recommendation and asked for the water test results, which CGC couldn't provide. Once CGC finally tested the water, they realized the softener was appropriately softening the water and removing iron. The technician then manipulated the float valve and it started functioning normally again. He seemed upset that the other plumber made him test the water and was visibly flustered. A few hours later, I found that the tubing he had worked on was leaking into our basement utility room. I had to fix this myself after hours. Several months later, we had another CGC technician come out to evaluate the system because it was regenerating frequently. I wasn't home, so my wife had me on speakerphone during the visit. This technician also didn't seem to understand how our system worked and incorrectly told me that our four tanks were actually just two twin softeners -- which is completely wrong. CGC's assessment was that we had "hard water" both coming into and exiting the softener based on their testing, and that "calcification" on the pre-softener copper piping also meant we had hard water. They also claimed our 8-year-old Bradford White water heater was at end of life due to some minor rust on the exterior cover, not the tank itself. They pushed us to replace everything and said it was urgent enough to schedule the next morning. They quoted us $10,135 for a twin tank water softener, a new sediment filter (despite me telling them I had our entire sediment filter replaced and replumbed less than a year ago), an iron filter, and a reverse osmosis system for the sink and fridge. They told me the RO system was "free," but if I didn't want it, they would only take $500 off the quote despite listing it at $1,867. They then quoted a new 75-gallon water heater and expansion tank for $6,468. This is a straight swap with our current 75-gallon unit using the existing gas line, plumbing, and venting. The water heater itself retails for about $2,700 (and likely less for them as the installer), and an expansion tank is about $200, so the labor they were charging is hard to justify. Overall, the total came to $16,603. At that point, I had zero trust in CGC and felt they were being dishonest. I had our water tested the next day by a different company who showed us the results on a computer. Our well water tested at 21 grains of hardness, 1.0 ppm ferrous iron, 0.2 ppm ferric iron, and 559 TDS. The water after the softener from our tap was 2 grains of hardness, 0.2 ppm ferrous iron, and 0.2 ppm ferric iron -- even with the system partially bypassing the iron filter. While not perfect, that is nowhere near the "hard water" CGC claimed was coming out of the softener. I had a third company come out as well, and their testing confirmed these results. I truly believe CGC either doesn't understand these systems and/or is willing to misrepresent the data to push unnecessary and expensive replacements with grossly padded quotes. Their recommendations were not just off -- they were contradicted by actual testing from multiple other companies. Based on my experience, I see them as a company that cannot be trusted to provide honest assessments, and I would strongly warn others to think twice before relying on them for service or recommendations. We ultimately went with a different system using a Clack WS1 valve, and I have no interest in ever dealing with CGC again.

Due to the previous system's age and our desire to upgrade to a system with an iron filter we decided to replace and upgrade the entire system. CGC were able to fit us in their schedule the next day and now we have a working system with the addition of the iron filter. Their estimating and installation staff were very professional and respectful of our property. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a company to help with water conditioning.

Please trust me when I say to stay with the smaller shops who do a good job at a reasonable price, like McIntyre's Soft Water Service or Wolverine Water Treatment. They've both been around for 40 years with the original owners still working there. They will take their time, not be in a hurry, and explain everything to you. Beauchamps installation people are untrustworthy, sloppy, do a poor job, and leave the house a mess. The sale person said they have 'master plumbers'. The installation person laughed when I mentioned that to him. He said he wish he was a master plumber. Beauchamps has to hire pretty much anywho they can get to get the job done as quickly as they can and hope customer standards are low. They will always be rushed, in a hurry, and learning as they go. They have NO pride in their work. For that, your installation will be sloppy and compromised ! Sales talk a good a talk but you don't see the full picture until installation shows up. Then it's too late. Goto any location and see if you like what you see. The people you will have to deal with when something goes wrong. Think about it and don't be in a hurry to buy. It's a big investment. Don't go for the modern store look as it's all show. Go for those that are honest and will be there for you when something goes wrong. I wish more people would see our message.

It's sad for me to have to write this article because I hired daily rain more than 20 years ago when they were just starting out their business. Note, that I would not write this article, had they just done the right thing, but they didn't. WARNINGS: 1) The work crew that comes out is inexperienced. 2) They ramrodded holes into one zone of piping, instead of using available head to extend the sprinkler system. 3) Getting the job done is more of a priority, than doing it right. 3) Rather than going back to the shop and getting the right connector or asking more questions, they just drill holes in your piping, and use INAPPROPRIATE FITTINGS. 4) When asked to come correct the issue, they DECLINED. BACKGROUND: The job was separated into 3 parts. 1) to repair damages caused by concrete work that the city had performed next to the property. 2) to extend sprinkler heads around my generator, using an existing head that was right next to the area of work 3) to replace sprinkler heads on the rest of the property. ISSUE: 1) I had asked the company to separate the bill into 3 parts. Clearly indicating what was to be covered by the city, and what was mine. RESULT: 1)The bill provided was not separated well enough for me to be able to send it to the city. 2) Requesting to have the bill separated on numerous occasions, resulted in nothing. 3) I lost the ability to reclaim the damages from the city because I could not get a bill that was separated enough. 4)My payment was delayed in trying to get this resolved, plus an urgent medical issue slowed my payment, but it was paid in full PRIOR to going to collections. ACTIONS: 1) When I realized the bill was going to go to collections, I drove to the property address, only to discover that there is nothing there. It is literally a OPEN FIELD! 2) I called the owner to explain this, and he said that just put the check in the mail. 3) Recent Request to repair zone-5 was declined, due to " policy of not working on jobs that had to go to collections". 4) I offered to pay in advance and even in cash. They still declined! They just do not want to repair the damages they did plain and simple. WARNING, NOT TRUSTWORTHY BUSINESS! PS- yes, I have all the receipts and photos. NOTE: there is a sprinkler head directly behind that generator shown in the photos that they should have used to install the extension. It's not like they didn't know it was there, they put the darn thing in. And they didn't bother to ask any questions, given that the crew they sent out was clueless. Instead, they jammed the wrong fitting in there as you could see in the photos. IT LEAKED FOR 1 YEAR before I realized what was causing the soil in that area to sink.
