    Absolutely recommend!!!…read more I rarely do reviews that aren't restaurants but Richmond's Air was so great I think it's important that people know what the experience is like. First: Competitors I got several estimates - My home warranty's contractor, Home Depot/ARS, a friend's husband, and Richmond's Air. Richmond's Air was the most reasonable price among all estimates, even the friend! He also took less than 30 minutes to take a look and give me an estimate. Home Depot was here for hours and gave me a presentation and ultimately an unbelievably high price which they later slashed by $4k when I said I wouldn't choose them. Still too high, also weird that they were gonna charge $4k extra? Second: Communication/Punctuality James told me a reasonable window of time that the team would arrive and also when they'd complete the job. They gave me a call beforehand to let me know they were running a little late, regardless the job was done on time (same day). They replaced everything but my furnace. Finally: Service The team was friendly and explained anything I asked about and even helped me install my new thermostat. They put a drop cloth down from the front door to the AC and left minimal dust or mess. They also gave me the manuals for the equipment as well as told me about the 10 year warranty. This was all a month ago and my AC has been working perfectly since and air quality reads way cleaner than when I moved in. Dealing with a broken AC in Houston is horrible and I highly recommend reaching out to Richmond's Air instead of wasting time shopping for multiple other quotes. Maybe get one other one and compare, you'll see the difference. Price, service, and quality were great. Would definitely call again for my next home.

Tiffany Minnix actually arrived earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Tiffany was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable and took the time to carefully inspect the unit, and made sure I understood the situation. Tiffany provided excellent service and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Tiffany professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail truly stood out. It is rare to find technicians who are both skilled and customer-focused, and Tiffany delivered on both. I highly recommend Richmond's Air, and especially Tiffany Minnix, to anyone needing reliable and trustworthy HVAC service. Thank you for the outstanding experience.

That level of responsiveness and customer care is rare. Jesus was the technician who came out, and he was exceptional. He was extremely transparent and showed us the capacitor readings beforehand which it was at 0, confirming it was completely dead. After replacing it, he walked us through everything step by step to make sure it was done correctly. We're very picky about who we let work on our home, and Jesus was professional, patient, and thorough. We've owned multiple homes and dealt with our fair share of tradespeople, and H-Town AC & Plumbing is truly at the top. From Mark's quick response to Jesus's excellent workmanship, the entire experience was top-tier. Other companies should model their customer service after them. Highly recommend.

    SmartAir was called to look into a condensation leak. Technician Pete reported it was a plumbing…read moreissue and couldn't fix it. While he was there he was asked to look at the furnace. Get story in perspective: Sister-in-law is care giver for husband. Home was designed by him 45 years ago. Like us things fail , like our home furnace's. He said you really need to fix the furnace. The gas company had already turned off the gas to the unit in fear of a serious problem resulting. He wasn't allowed to turn it back on and said she had to have another furnace. We got wind of the entire situation here in Tulsa. OK, and reached out to Smart Air management. I was instructed to contact their individual in the field. After explaining who I was, he was very very helpful in working with me in getting a new furnace ordered and installed TODAY! Young mans name is Pete! I'll be forever appreciative of his professionalism. He handling all my calls and did exactly what was needed. Less than 24 hours after contacting Smart Air, they installed the furnace complete. Smart Air deserves 6 STARS! Caring gets Pete an extra Star! Oh by the way, they worked so well with me, they gave me a discount and tore up the check for the initial house call.

I explained my issue and they had a technician come out less than 90 mins later. My technician was Pete and he went to work right away. Pete was able to fix my issues & the repair did not break my bank. Pete was beyond professional and I would recommend Smart Air on his customer service alone. Hoping I never have to call Smart Air again but if I do I will be in good hands. This service was worth the value.

For now, and in light of the challenges we faced prior to Ed's intercession, we will update our review from one to three stars. Provided there are no issues with the new system install and performance, we will provide a further update within the next year. Ed, we truly do appreciate your personal engagement. He ensured that the warranty was used for part of the cost. The biggest issue was communication. By the time we got the HVAC fixed, it had been a week without either A/C or heating. Part of that was due to it being across a weekend and leading into the Thanksgiving holiday. I asked that we be kept informed of progress as parts might need to be ordered and we needed to plan for alternatives if the systems could not be repaired before Thanksgiving. Having heard nothing on Monday morning I called for a status. Yep, parts needed to be ordered. No ETA, so I again asked to be informed as things progressed. No information shared so called on Tuesday. I got the answering service and they promised to have someone call me asap with an update. That never happened. I checked my email that evening at about 7pm to discover that All Star had emailed a cost estimate. I approved that, assuming this might trigger a service call to finish the repair. I finally got a text from the service tech on Wednesday morning at noon that he was on his way. We were on our way out the door as we had changed plans for Thanksgiving to visit rather than be visited. So, we delayed our plans to accommodate the service tech. From my perspective, this is not the way service should be provided.
