As always love Dylan's!! Consistently delicious. Their oysters are always so fresh and tasty. But their other dishes are also so good. Their happy hour is great! Cheap beers pair so good with oysters haha. Service is always great, the interior is cozy. It's not upscale like other oyster houses in the area.

My friends and I decided to bar hop through Hampden and Dylan's was the 4th stop. They were super busy, but they still luckily had space at the bar for our pretty sizeable group. We had a few cocktails and some oysters. While I am not a fan of oysters, I do appreciate the shuckers giving us a tutorial on how to shuck. The bar staff was super friendly and festive. Definitely want to go back and try other (non-oyster food items)!

This place seems like it's pretty popular considering when we arrived it was shortly after they had opened and they were able to squeeze us a table inside but we preferred to sit outside. I assume reservations are recommended for the weekend. Food was fairly priced and I highly enjoyed my burger and fries. It was juicy and flavorful! The burger had this sauce that really elevated it. The fries were crispy and salty. I added old bay to mine and it was delicious. I don't eat oysters, but my partner indulged and reported it was super tasty with some hot sauce on it. They also did have a wide range of oysters all between 18 to I believe maybe 25 for 1/2 a dozen. Will definitely return for the burger.

Dylan's had a cute neighborhood vibe while still being upscale. The service was very quick and they checked in right before the happy hour deal ended which is always good to get a last glass in! The happy hour deals were honestly nothing special, I wouldn't go out of my way for the deals, but the food was great! Highly recommend the roasted oysters!

A bit off the beaten path, however, well worth the trip. The oysters are amazing, likely the best I have ever had. The Kale Salad is delicious. Cocktails are amazing, I highly recommend Deja Vieux and Golden Haze.

Just okay, a little disappointed. A lot about this restaurant screamed cheap and penny pinching. For an oyster bar, I would've thought they would've let you mix and match oysters, but you can only order one kind by the half dozen... I've been to non-oyster bars that let you mix and match. Why wouldn't you offer this...? What a missed opportunity. We got the roasted oysters and a half dozen raw oysters to start. The roasted come with five oysters. Really? You couldn't spare a sixth...? That said, they were tasty! For dinner we got the fish sandwiches. The fish itself was amazing, incredibly fried w/ great batter and nice toppings. But served with... bag chips??! Come on guys... that's not a nice way to serve dinner. You need hot fries or fresh homemade chips. Bag chips are so cheap and really take away from a nice dinner. The cocktail menu was great and we all loved our drinks. Service was quick and our plates were cleared between servings. Finally, our table was extremely wobbly... you couldn't lean on it at all, my friend's cocktail spilled completely after leaning on the table. Nothing was offered to us and seemingly the staff didn't notice? We needed tons of napkins and our table was soaked but sure. Overall, while some of the food was good, the experience was pretty poor. I'd recommend really taking a look at the customer experience, the menu, and how the food is served. Most importantly FIX YOUR TABLES!

Perfect situation for me! I love a cozy restaurant that feels like a hidden gem ( I guess because I just learned about it lol) . Food was amazing, fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our bartender was very cool and attentive, I wish I remembered his name but he's the guy with the cool hair (cut) . I ordered the Sardine, Anchovies, Dixon point oysters and rainbow trout .... yes I ate it all! How could I not! It was amazing

Dylan's is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the city. The BEST seafood and oysters bar none. I've been there a number of times and some of their standout options are the soft shell crab sandwich and their burger. Absolutely awesome! I love their oysters and anything on the special menu is usually very solid. The drinks are great as well, the servers are always so kind and I love to sit at the bar if it's particularly busy! The space is smaller but has a casual feel with a slightly upscale vibe to it.

Yes! I've been twice. Tried the same dishes twice because after my first visit I had to come back and try the exact same thing. I'll go back and try others. But on both visits I tried: The Coddie (cod fish cake with saltine and mustard sauce). Tasty but salty. I thought on my first visit it was too salty so I wanted to try it again. Second visit, too salty. Roasted oysters - 10 stars Kale salad - 10 stars. That maple miso dressing is something special Whole Sea Bream - 10 stars (similar to snapper I think). Love the ginger carrot puree. I started making some at home to accompany my dishes after my second visit. It's so good! Ham hock collard greens - 10 stars, too good. Cocktails: can't remember the name but it was bourbon based. 10 stars This is now one of my favorite places. Service is okay. 4 stars over all because of the noise level. I've been on a random Tuesday and a Saturday. Just as loud.

Came here on a Friday night - was able to make a somewhat last minute reservation and sat outside because it was a beautiful night. Very nice ambience in Hampden! Food was very very good. We got the roasted oysters - could have just had them all night, so good. The local salad (which I forgot to snap a photo of) was very good, albeit on the small side, especially for 2 to share. Both fish dishes we had - arctic char and rainbow trout - were delicious. Trout's so simple with browned butter, but what's better than browned butter? shishitos were in a very nice sauce. All to say a very nice meal - highly recommend!

    Fries are crispy and yummy.

This is Puerto Rican pitorro, also known as ron cañita, made with care and intention rather than gimmickry. Many local liquor stores now carry the brand, and it is well worth picking up a bottle, but visiting the distillery is an experience in itself. The founder is a fellow Puerto Rican born retired military member, a background I share, and like me, he has put down roots in Maryland. That story is reflected clearly in the brand's own framing, "Puerto Rican born, Maryland made." The space feels grounded and unpretentious, and that sensibility carries through to the hospitality. We arrived late on a Saturday and were still welcomed warmly, never rushed. We were taken care of by the founder's daughter, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She guided us through a flight that included the traditional pitorro, almond, pineapple, coffee, coconut chai, and several seasonal offerings. The flavors were thoughtful and well balanced; even the infused expressions retained a clear rum backbone rather than drifting into novelty. We enjoyed them enough to leave with several bottles. This is artisanal pitorro done right, rooted in Puerto Rican tradition and confidently made in Maryland. Buying it locally is convenient, but going to the distillery is where the people, the story, and the spirit fully come together.

The crispy shrimp and corn patties were like a crispy takoyaki so actually pretty good and the Mac and caviar was like a cold macaroni salad also pretty good just not impressive for a nice dinner. Was really looking forward to trying their duck confit chilakiles, but they ran out unfortunately. A little surprising since it's many hours before they close. I was considering coming again to try the duck confit, but after trying everything else I'm not sure it's worth the drive here since I'm not from the baltimore area. Their grilled ahi tuna was done well and the sauce was really good. The garlic soy shrimp pancit had good textures and flavour as well. The nori butter tteokbokki was lacking in flavour a little. Missed a bit of acidity to balance out the cream. Desserts were also just okay. I'm usually a sweets person, but I was kind of disappointed. The carrot mochi cake was strange, the texture was good, but the flavours did not mesh well together and I was confused what I was eating. The latiya was dry. The shaved ice was pretty refreshing but not impressing. The Ube flan was good though!
