I called a few places from Yelp about pricing and what the issue may be. V, the owner was very nice, and treated me respectfully when I shared the issues with him. He said I did a good job trying to narrow down the issue. He set-up an appointment for me on a Sat., but I ended up being home today and asked if they had availability, and he fit me into the schedule. 2 very nice people, a father (Vlad) and his son, (Vitali) work together. When they arrived, they put on booties and were extremely nice & answered my questions. They fixed the disposal immediately, but then found out, that my leak was coming from the disposal. They suggested replacing the disposal, which is what I did, since fixing it may not hold up or work. They worked efficiently, tested it out with me, and made sure there wasn't a leak. Sometimes men don't show respect to women when they ask questions about repairs. All 3 of these men were very patient and respectful. Thank you for your kindness & treating me with respect.

I sent a message via Yelp on a Sunday night and they immediately scheduled our oven troubleshooting for Monday afternoon. Their front office staff is incredibly responsive! George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. He is approaching this very methodically - ok, so it's not the igniter, let's look at the next link in the chain... I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended! He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update. I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies. This experience with George / Astera is so positive that I'm posting my review even before the service is completed. Terrible poor service and performance, a simple door contact problem in my microwave became a…read morenightmare for us. Over 3 weeks of back and forth between new problems appearing, 5 visits to our house, ordering more and more parts to finally determine they will have to take the microwave and repair in their facility, still waiting for it, we need to call several times because they promised to come and kept delaying and giving excuses. Never calling us explaining why they couldn't come, we have to call them in all the occasion, zero accountability. Please keep in mind, that we had to call every time. it got to a point that they ignored us until we called from a different phone. (we didn't even call excessively). They requested 1/2 of the total cost to be paid in advance during the first visit because of ordering the piece they need to replace the door contact. The second visit the door problem was solved but another problem appear, they order a wrong piece, in the 3rd visit when the technician thought everything was finished, we payed full. I tested the microwave and have to run to the driveway to call him back because it was not working. The technician was all the time in the phone while trying to repair the microwave receiving instructions from the phone, what clearly showed, that he didn't know what to do. If there was a way to give zero or less stars, I would. They are very incompetent.
