The big stores treat customers like a commodity and their prices are always higher. Alex shared all the advantages and warranty information for the GE Oven/Range we purchase, and it was installed in less than 1 hour. Can't say enough good things about the buying experience at Novak & Parker which is rare nowadays at most appliance locations. Alex is a valuable asset to your company ! 40 later we still get all our home appliances from a company that cares about its customers. Thank you, Lawrence McDermott

Not a great experience at all. Spent thousands on appliances, yet installers left an appliance with…read morean error code. Now I'm told I'll get a phone call in two days with an eta in the morning for that day. Who can operate on such short notice? Maybe people who don't work? How about giving me a reasonable eta to plan things (like maybe work?). Am I supposed to sit around all day twiddling my thumbs waiting for a phone call and then waiting for their arrival? Aside from leaving an appliance with an error code (laziness? Apathy? Incompetence?), this is what I'm left with? Aside from that, it takes multiple days to get any responses to my questions. I absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone, nor will I ever use them again.

I clicked on a link for Appliances 4 Less & receives a response from Helen. I told here we were looking for a washer & dryer combo as both needed to be replaced. When my wife & I arrived we met Helen who was super patient & helpful assisting us on making our decision. This "Appliance 4 Less" store is basically a warehouse set back in an industrial area. The entrance is a single door that goes into a small office area. This area opens up to a warehouse area where they stock a variety different appliances like stove, refrigerator freezers, microwavesbut we were there for a washer/dryer combo. "Appliances 4 Less" has other locations and they provide appliances at multiple locations. I happened to be in Mt Prospect @ Discount Tires to have my car tires rotated so this location in Arlington Heights was about 5 miles from there. At this warehouse they stocked only LG washers & dryers, but they have other options at other stores. LG in general has a very good rating when you compare them w/other appliances. We ended up buying a basic LG washer & dryer. This duo complete w/removal of the old washer & dryer, delivery, & installation was $799 plus tax is $878.9 $140 for delivery, installing and haul away for a total of $1,018.90. Like I said nothing too fancy just a basic LG washer & dryer. Thank you Helen for you time & help in selecting a washer & dryer.

They used to come to her house, but now they charge $55 per trip. You need to make an appointment for the Geek Squad services that you are charged for annually. They do not provide enough seating for everyone waiting, and there are a lot of elderly people who have come, with their computers, printers, etc. For assistance. As far as merchandise, nothing impressive selection-wise or price-wise compared to shopping online. There are more people working Security up front than offering help on the sales floor.

I checked with LG- picture of that email is attached. They lie about returns and refunds. Tell you they are refunding a certain amount and then refund less. When you follow up about it, they have excuses for why they didn't keep their word. This sale and unit was false advertising and they don't care. When you ask for a copy of the receipt, they push you around and eventually just ignore your request and you never get that second receipt as you requested. We searched online for over a month, visited five or six furniture shops, and even made a special trip to Chicago's Chinatown to try to find something unique. Our greatest setback was the lack of quality in the pieces we saw. My husband stumbled on a local listing for a gorgeous crimson nightstand from M&E that was priced to sell. I love restored furniture and creative vintage flips. We drove thirty minutes to pick up the piece. The owner's inventory was stunning; beautiful and vibrantly colored vintage furniture that was carefully restored. They are extremely open and friendly people who are passionate about what they do. Their prices were more than fair. We were hooked. We asked them to keep us in mind for another nightstand. Not only did they keep in touch, but they found one! They re-did it to our liking and set an appointment for us to come by and get it. Then, my husband spotted another one that he loved more. They graciously offered to repaint it to our liking (at no extra cost, though we offered) and sell us that one instead of the one they had prepared for us. With a generous spirit like that, they should be in business for a long time!
