My husband and I are looking for a new sink, faucet fixtures and on a whim popped in to Crawford. We looked around and spoke to gentleman that offered his assistance, but was quickly called away, which is fine, we had no appointment. We looked around more and Victoria was finishing a meeting, but quickly offered her help. She showed us some options for what we asked about, luckily i brought samples of my cabinet, counters and backsplash so i could get a better under of the completed look. After showing us what we asked about, she offered her opinion and gave us some different ideas for the sink. What a great opportunity to have a consultant actually give you her opinion, not just a clean/quick quote on what we thought we wanted. She asked questions about the look we wanted, the colors we chose and how best to achieve our look. We ended up with an entire different sink, and i am so grateful for her volunteering her opinion and helping bring my vision to life!!! Thank you, Victoria!! read more

I went here at requested some assistance to purchase fixtures for a shower I am building and I was told by Thomas, to wait because they had another customer coming in 15 min. I asked how much it would be to get anyone to help us, his response " I don't know it could be 15 min, 30 min, or an hour, I don't know you'll have to wait" exactly like that. I responded "well I don't want to wait, I am here right now" and his response was, "see ya". Absolutely rude. read more

25 years ago we built our "dream home" and this year was the year to update that dream. This included new sinks and faucets - yea! Crawford being near, we stopped in. Salesperson? Anyone? Anyone?? There was lots of looking up...it's not like we were missed...but we were there for a good, long time without anyone approaching us. We're decisive shoppers and we were there long enough to pretty much settle on our selections and STILL no one had approached us. Odd. Not even a, "Take your time looking around but let me know if you need assistance!" Nothing. And note, this is the SHOWROOM part of the business where the homeowners come, not the contractor's side where it's a little more utilitarian. Finally we got someone's attention and placed our order for two sinks and three faucets, paid the deposit and were off. We were told that most of it would arrive very quickly but it might be two weeks for one sink. As our items dribbled in I had several occasions to enter the Crawford showroom. I was still in looking mode. Tubs? Showers? Commodes? The first day's inattention was no aberration. Oh, wait...it's all coming back me me... As a young 20-something I remember being routinely ignored when shopping for fixtures for my home. At the time I took it to be salespeople not taking a young buyer seriously. Why not? How many 23-year-olds do you see buying pricey fixtures? Now? I'm not such a young buyer. What's the deal? A salesperson is supposedly anxious to SELL. To be dismissed indicates the effort is assumed to be a waste of time. Uh... Am I supposed to be dressing to impress when I'm picking out sinks? What else would cause a salesperson to dismiss a potential buyer other than the assumption that they can't or won't buy?? Get over yourselves, ladies. You work in a plumbing supply house that deals in high line fixtures. If you think your buyers are dressed like the Kardashians when they're in home improvement mode you've got a lot to learn. But anyway, that annoyance aside... Here we are, nearly 2-1/2 months later and I FINALLY received my remaining sink. It went missing and by the time I received the call it was in I no longer cared. My summer guests are nearly through with their visit and I'm not tearing up the bathroom NOW. Trying to get this sink - this ordinary sink that was in stock at Kohler - was a neverending series of unreturned phone calls and excuses. (Not returning calls is pretty standard here) I was once even told it had JUST arrived only to get there and discover it hadn't. They tried to blow me off with the typical, "Well, I don't know who you might have talked to...." Except I did and it was the very man I was talking too. @@ Once I was offered an explanation that channeled Basil Fawlty giving one of his wild excuses...something about how the sink was misdirected and had gone missing in California and as soon as they located it...and all I was thinking was, "How is this my problem?? Order another sink and YOU sort it out on your own time!" Cherry on top of this order... Went to pick up the sink yesterday and they COULDN'T FIND MY ORDER. omg... What?? They guy who had previously helped me was able to locate it and told me they'd bring it around by my car. Waited... Waited... Waited... Went back in and the guy who couldn't find my order was now saying that the power was out and so they couldn't pull my sink... Again, in jumped the other guy who located it in the loading dock. Someone had pulled it and just left it there. Was I to magically know this and then manhandle a cast iron sink into my car? Paging Mr. Fawlty... Dismissive, pretentious, disorganized, not responsible... Big house and all we put on this first order were two sinks and three faucets. Did it not occur to them that we might be customers worth keeping?? read more

I use to deal with Crawford supply on a personal level on the weekly; now not as often; however, their staff, especially Paul & Jeanna are amazing and quite knowledgeable when it comes to the products they carry. Even if I'm not purchasing something from them; if I have a question they are always willing to search out a solution to what I'm trying to accomplish. Pricing tends to be a bit of a turbulent situation sometimes; but they are quite competitive with other companies that specialize in the business they do. I wouldn't shop them against anyone like Home Depot or Menards, as the products you see in the big box stores aren't the same Crawford sells; even if they are named similar or the exact same (Kohler for example) Overall; Crawford is a great place to view the newest products, find decent pricing and pick the brains of the staff as to the best solution available. I mean, come on; sometimes a standard faucet just isn't going to cut it ;) read more

I was so amazingly underwhelmed with this shop. 1. I walked in with my husband and the man at the front desk didn't even raise his head to acknowledge us. Fine. But we went to a VERY expensive freestanding tub (why I drove the HOUR to get there) and started looking at it. Every staff member walked around us, avoided, etc etc. like no one wanted to deal with customers. 2. Finally had someone, about 20 min into our visit, say hello to us. She wanted to help and walked us around for quite awhile. Little back and forth on organizational skills, but she knew her options so I was ok with that, even though it took awhile. 3. It took her almost a week to generate a quote. I got quotes from 5 other places before hers came in. 4. I had a question on the quote. I emailed. She came back and said "oh no, many of these prices are wrong, I had to reprice everything. I don't know what happened." These emails had lots of misspellings and were sloppy. The numbers now DOUBLED on some items. 5. I emailed her back and said "it says the pricing on your quotes is good for 30 days" and that I had spent HOURS considering and cross checking quotes so now I had to do this all again. Her answer was "no I had no choice, it's frustrating for me too." 6. Their real pricing is WAY more money than other places. The tub that I originally went to see? They are over $800 more than other locations. A company that won't stand by their quotes....I'm completely flabbergasted. They think I would then chose to pay them and count on them to get my order here in a timely and correct fashion? Stay away if you want your project to stay on track. read more

After visiting several different places, Banner, Studio 41 and Ferguson, finally decided to stop in here at Crawford. Paul was the first person we met that not only knew what he was talking about, but was able to give us fantastic direction and did not waste time in discussing exactly what we needed to know about. Went to the Itasca location,to find replacement parts for a 30 year old tub. It was great to walk in, be greeted warmly, asked if I needed help, and then find out that the parts I needed are in stock, and are priced reasonably. Sorry Home Depot, you don't come close. Very unprofessional customer service. Walked in to the store at 4:45pm with my husband wanting to buy bathroom faucet/hand held shower (to a brand new bathroom which obviously will cost us couple hundred for good quality) but the response we got from a sales rep was "I leave physically at 5oclock." He even said it twice..Who says that?? How rude and unprofessional. It's as if he did us a favor/pity to take care of us and take money from us. Plus not to mention, we traveled a good hour in traffic with a baby in the car seat to buy what we want. Will not shop here ever again!!!stay away unless that individual gets fired. read more

The best experience I've had in purchasing for home improvement ever! Jennifer was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the selection of my cabinets. The style, color and layout, every cabinet and drawer has a specific purpose. It made for a very enjoyable and fun experience. The only problem I encountered was in the final steps in ordering/purchasing my selections. What could have been an unpleasant experience was handled very professionally by Mark. The worse store to place an order. We were said that our items( shower equipment) will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Now it is almost 2 months gone ( order was placed October 17th) and we still waiting for handhold shower head ( all is paid already). Also one part was missing among those picked up.My calls have not changed that situation. I will not recommend that store to anybody. read more
