The food was ovepriced and not good. Dry shawarma and nothing that was in any of the Yelp reviews for photos was available. That was disappointing. The service was ok if you don't mind having to flag down your waiter constantly. read more

I ended up meeting 2 friends for lunch on Saturday at Dvash and then had dinner there the following night. If the food wasn't so good, I would have been upset. The shrimp and garlic bread appy is a keeper. Outstanding. The meatballs and dumplings were also a big hit. I had 2 different types of burgers and both were incredible. My wife had the chicken and my other friend had fish. The service is very attentive every dish we had was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend. read more

Came back again with some other friends - asked if they had a table outside and respectfully told one four top available so long as we got there a little earlier and out by time next reservation was due - this is why I give 5 stars to Dvash - always trying to find ways to accommodate requests where possible - so many other restaurants have inexperienced receptionists who don't do anymore than just take bookings! We again had Lauren as our server - very busy but never seemed flurried and so relaxed - made for a perfect evening! My wife had the Jerusalem chicken which was perfect! I'm afraid I will never get beyond the Burgers as the best I've ever had! Again the flatbread was a big hit - the fig compote blending perfectly with the cheese! Finally still didn't try a desert which all sounded terrific but just too full! Coffee however was presented perfectly and will always when coming here finish with a cup. Again Lauren thanks read more

Everyone was so nice and friendly, made us feel at home. Service was excellent, food was presented nicely and taste was great! This was our first time but we will definitely be coming back. Well, we did go back three more times and service was friendly and everyone was nice - when we got to see anyone- first time we went was off hours and the place only had a few customers, it was a great experience and if I could have given more than 5 stars I would have , the last 3 times were during lunch hours, between 12 noon and 1:00ish. They were very busy and though the server was nice and not his fault we hardly saw him, had to look for someone to refill iced tea. Each of the 3 x we ordered burgers , the server asked each time medium or well done? We both requested medium. On our 2nd visit my wife asked for a replacement and with a smile and an apology she got one- after waiting nearly half an hour, we figured ok, things happen... Went back twice again both times my wife ordered a burger medium, came out well done +, fries were cold, tried to get attention couldn't and she ate it without any enjoyment as I sat waiting for an iced tea Refil. When I spend $50-$60 for lunch I'd like it to be an enjoyable respite, it hasn't been of late. Too bad, I think the people are nice but they need to make some changes when they're busy or busy can go to bust . read more

I was excited to try this restaurant based on the Yelp reviews. Ordered the chicken shawarma today, and must say, I was very disappointed. Not only did the chicken lack flavor, it was a bit tough and the rice was mediocre. This dish certainly doesn't warrant the $39 cost--especially when it comes with no salad, hummus or pita. read more

Very good food and excellent service I only wish I could give six stars it's a must try definitely worth it......

One of the best, if not the best burger I've ever had. I wish I could get a bottle of their garlic aioli and their green hot sauce, it kind of tastes like the green sauce that comes with escargot but spicy. The roasted tomato hummus with honey was incredible as well. The environment was also just a pleasure to be in, the staff was very nice friendly and welcoming as were the other patrons. If you're ever in Boca Raton it's a must, if you're ever in the Miami metro area make the tr read more

Outstanding find. We sampled a mix of appetizers and dishes and everything was outstanding.

Sadly, we were very disappointed with this place. I waited so long to check it out and had high hopes. Weather was lovely so we chose to sit outside. Our waitress-whom I will refrain from identifying, was a bit odd, never bothered to give us the drink/wine menu so I asked if they offer wine. She then brought the wine list. I ordered a cocktail off the menu. It was a canned cocktail. We then ordered dinner. My boyfriend ordered a bowl of lentil soup. He got a tremendous portion--unfortunately it was tepid, and not very flavorful. I ordered the beet carpaccio, which was just okay. We then both ordered salads with chicken. He received his bistro salad--but no chicken. I got my Israeli salad with the chicken, but zero seasoning or flavor. No vinegar, no salt, nothing. I've had Israeli salad so many times and I love it--so this was a sad surprise. I gave my credit card to the waitress at the beginning of the meal because I wanted to pay for dinner. She left mid-meal and when the check came, I had to hunt down my credit card. All-in-all, not a great experience. read more

Soooooo good! The hummus was SOOOOOO GOOD ! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. It is very very steep for the smaller portion sizes. But the food and staff were amazing !! read more

In my opinion, Dvash has the BEST Israeli/Mediterranean food in Boca and goes head to head with the best Israeli restaurants in South Florida (including Miami). I randomly came across Dvash and have since become a regular. Everyone from the staff to the owners are kind and attentive. The restaurant is clean, sleek, and cozy. Now onto the food. Here are my recommendations... 1) Lentil Soup (amazing) 2) Pear and Gargonzola Fiocchetti (some of the best pasta I've eaten-Soooooo good) 3) Any of the Hummus's (ask for extra Israeli pickles on the side) 4) Dvash Shnizel is amazing and huge. 5) Any of the burgers are excellent. They come w/ delicious potato slices. 6) Roasted Tumeric Cauliflower is huge and awesome. 7) Carrot cake is UNREAL for dessert. Also, ask what specials they have. They're also delicious. I can't imagine how anyone could have anything less than an amazing dining experience here. Highly recommend giving them a try!! read more

I have eaten at this restaurant several times and always enjoyed the food. Tonight was the first time I was not impressed with what I ordered - the portion was smaller than it used to be, and the prices notably higher. The service was excellent and I just hope this was an off night. read more

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. We had reservations for a party of 6. We ordered food, it took nearly 2 hours to come out. They put the food in front of us when it finally did come out, and they put the wrong plates in front of the wrong people. My father (who is in the early stages of dementia), who has never heard of half the things on the menu and who ordered quinoa (which he's never seen or eaten before) started eating from the plate expecting that what they'd put in front of him was what he ordered. Meanwhile, the member of our party who had ordered the food sat without anything in front of him. I confirmed this with my father later. I asked him what he thinks Quinoa looks like. He said, "it looks just like rice." Nearly 10 minutes later (it felt that long), the server comes out and announces that the plate in front of my father was actually the plate of the man sitting across from him. The server proceeded to pick up the plate and began moving the half eaten dish from my father to the man across the table. Unsurprisingly the server got a dressing down about how inappropriate that is. The manager came out and blamed my father for eating the food that was put in front of him rather than apologizing. She got a dressing down as well from the same man. She left our table yelling at the man who had not gotten his food yet saying, "you are very rude." She then walked away. In a fit, 3 or 4 minutes later, she brought out my father's Quinoa salad, angrily plopped it on the table, and said, "we have this, we don't know what to do with it." Then walked away. A few more minutes later, a male manager came over. He, again, started arguing that the fault was with my father who had eaten a dish that he hadn't ordered. He then asked the man who was still waiting for his food why he was so rude to his wife. His wife (apparently the other manager) came out of the kitchen, stood next to him and said, "yes, I can't believe the way he speaks to women." To which, I replied, "Oh my God, just go away!" The manager looked at me and said, "why did you call my wife a bitch?" Which I hadn't. My father (a very thin, soft spoken introvert) stood up and said, "I was right here, he didn't say that." The manager said, "I know you know him and you're going to defend him, but I heard him say it." Meanwhile, his wife, who had angrily left us and gone back to the kitchen was talking to the staff. She came back to the table. Following her, the entire staff came out of the kitchen, including the cook (whom, I'm guessing, may have been her father). He stood at the head of our table, at the front of the restaurant and said loudly, "we don't need this in our restaurant, what are you doing, get out. Just go." As we left the restaurant, the servers lined up on our way out. Just as I got up from the table, the first server said to me, "you've made your scene, now are you happy?" As I passed the second server, she said, "why are you so rude?" The third server said, "you're so rude!" And the fourth one said, as we left the restaurant, "I can't believe how rude you are." It was literally a shame gauntlet. I have never had such a humiliating experience as this. It would bother me less if it weren't for the fact that my father was subjected to this. He felt like he'd caused it, and apologized dozens of times for eating the food they put in front of him. Don't go here. They are assholes with absolutely no ability to admit when they screw up. Their managers refuse to admit wrongdoing, their servers are incompetent boobs, and, while their food is very good, it's not worth 2 hours of waiting. Go somewhere else, don't support abusive proprietors. To those who were there when this happened, I'm sorry you had to witness it. It was obvious to us that the rest of the restaurant was confused by what had happened, but was happy to see what had been caste as a unruly set of customers out. If that were true, then... yeah, it would be on us. But that wasn't the case here. This was nothing more than a set of incompetence paired with a huge amount of pride and arrogance that prevented the owners of this establishment from fixing what would have normally been hospitality 101. read more

Sadly disappointing. Hubby scoped it out in advance for a date night. We made reservations and were very excited to dine at a restaurant named "honey" with my special someone. The hummus was fantastic and we were looking forward to the same with our the main courses. We should have been keyed into the fact that our server was clueless. He was unaware of which type of beer was served. Keep in mind they only offer two types of beer. Server also got flustered when my husband ordered a Diet Coke. Really? The wait for our food was not long. As soon as our appetizer dishes were cleared, hubby's meal was placed in front of him. Then we waited and waited. We waited some more. I approached the staff to inquire about the mishap in the kitchen. Guess what? Yup, we waited some more. Hubby's meal was taken away to be kept warm or to rewarm. At that point we should have settled our tab and went across the street to Buger King. It would have been more satisfying and kinder to the pocketbook. Menu explains meals are all made from "scratch." But in all fairness, that's a poor excuse for waiting 15 minutes for the second meal to arrive. It's upsetting to spend more than $100 on a date night and leave with a gnawing feeling in the pit of your stomach. Hubby was hungry; I was pissed we spent so much money. To clarify, portions are not insignificant and we left with more than enough food for another meal. We lost our desire after the first few bites of disappointment. Management apologized. Full price was also charged. A dessert and or drink was not even comped. Then again, they knew we just wanted to go home. Too bad, hubby is a fantastic tipper. The Israeli atmospher drew us to Dvash. The music, specifically, Kulanu Mishpacha, made me very happy, which was a much needed distraction from the melancholy of paying the bill for such a lackluster experience. I don't like leaving a restaurant feeling ripped off. Dear Yelp community, you are forewarned. read more

I love finding a great restaurant when I'm actually not looking for one. I stumbled upon Dvash when dropping my mom off for a hair salon appointment when visiting Florida. I was there for lunch and they have great lunch specials with a lot of food! You are served pita with hummus, the salad of your choice and you can pick a choice of soup, sangria, beer or house wine. I'm so happy that I picked their mushroom quinoa soup as it was the highlight of my meal! I loved it. The manager, Evan, was amazing, and when I told him how great I thought it was, he gave me some to go when he brought the check. The hummus and pita were delicious and I got the Halloumi salad, which was huge and I wound up taking some home. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the restaurant has a clean, modern vibe even though it is situated in a strip mall. I especially liked the authenticity of hearing Hebrew with the music/station while in the bathroom! I loved this place and it has been around for only four months. You need to make reservations in order to get in for dinner as it is becoming very popular. Check it out. You won't be disappointed! read more

First time customer. Varied menu. Says it is Mediterranean but looks Israeli to me. Fast and friendly service. Plenty of seating inside and outside patio. A bit expensive for relatively small portions. Quality and hearty food. Music was so loud I had to yell at the people at my table. Bathroom Was clean. Would have been 5 stars except for unnecessarily loud music. I will definitely try again and sit outside where maybe it is quieter. read more

Not sure how many STARS to give ?, First time trying this place but, this was a order out. Not quite happy with the meal I received by ordering out and eating the meal at home.
