Found this place after a disappointing experience with Columbia. Man was friendly and gave us help getting started. Had so much fun picking cherries and berries and looking at the small animals. The only complaint I have is the toilet which was a portapotty. Would have been nice after traveling to have a decent toilet.

I had to pry her away from electronics and muscle her into the car. No u pick today, her arm is splinted. We grabbed a couple cartons of Hood berries and some jam, a strawberry lemonade, and a strawberry scented candle and took some pictures. It is dead on beautiful out here. A perfect weather day didnt hurt. The food that dressed up older people ( im guessing they came directly from church) were eating (strawberry laden belgian waffle with whip, spinach salad with berries, yummy panini? Oh my!They have good stuff to eat) looked delicious. We are coming back to eat lunch and u pick soon. Princess ate strawberries steadily from Unger farms to my moms. " Mom why are these so easy to bite into and so juicy?" Her mood turned around, yay for strawberries and sunshine! "Because theyre ripe, baby." "We have been missing out!!" Yep. We are totally good at raspberry season but now we have to add strawberries to our agenda. Sweet!! Go. You wont be sorry. Please leave some berries for us though, ok? Only five berries made it home.

We picked blueberries, which is a short walk away from the cafe/store area. The cafe/store had some already-picked berries for sale, as well as some packaged goods one would expect to find at a farm store. No fresh veggies though, but that could just be timing/season. The cafe took awhile to make one drink (just one blender?) and wasn't really WOWd by their service (they couldn't remember if we got one of our other drinks already) but other than that, I think Unger farms is worth another visit just to pick fruit if you're into that.

The smell of the roasting chilis is irrestible. We picked up a bag rated 3-5 on the heat scale a few hours ago and enjoyed them with eggs. Delicious. We plan to get another bag of 3-5s next week along with a second bag a step or two higher up on the heat scale. Word is Westwind will be roasting peppers at the PSU Saturday market through the end of October. The Westwind tables also offer baskets of over two dozen different kinds of fresh chili peppers for sale. The sweet peppers include California wonders, corno di toros, cubanelles, Italias, lipsticks, sweet bananas, and sweet cayennes. Hot peppers: anaheims, anchos, chocolate habeneros, fireballs, Hungarian hot wax, jalapenos, New Mex Joe Parkers, puriras, pimienta de padron, Sapporo hots, Scotch bonnets, serranos, and Thai hots, among others. All of Westwind's plants are grown without the use of neo-nicotinoid pesticides or seeds that have been genetically modified, and all of their herb and vegetable starts are certified organic.

With a well seasoned meal, you can actually taste the care and passion in the food. It annoys me to go out to a restaurant, pay for food where I am expected to season it. Show me what your vision is! Anyway - another outstanding well seasoned and flavorsome meal! Thanks!

Unfortunately, the food quality hasn't kept up with the price point lately. My wife ordered the Bodega Egg & Cheese, and it was disappointing -- the cheese tasted like a basic Kraft single, which really took away from the experience, especially paired with a bagel that didn't elevate it at all. For the price, we expected something more thoughtful and higher quality. The space itself feels like it's still figuring out its identity. "Collective Market" suggests something cohesive, but inside it feels more like a collection of random items -- though to be fair, the wine bottle selection is solid. We love the vibe this place could have, and we really want to keep supporting it. We just hope to see more care and attention go into the food and overall direction -- especially considering how great their sister location, Decadent Creations Bakery, is.
